I absolutely love this store! I wish they were open when I was going to UWT, but at the same time, I know I would spend a ton of money here. These gift shops have so many items and gifts for everyone in your life. I particularly love the mugs, posters, and stickers. Another reason I like these businesses is because they're local and support local artists and vendors. It's nice to see a community in a single store. It's out of my way to come here, but I really do enjoy making a trip for some goodies. read more

This place ROCKS. Such a cool little shop. They have all kinds of items (stickers, books, paper goods, cards, mugs, jewelry- the list goes on). I was wandering downtown and stoped in. I was able to pick up some cool cards and stickers for people back home. I also collect a wooden state shaped magnet for each place I travel to (I'm a travel nurse). They had a wooden state pin but not a magnet & the girl at the register offered to switch it from a pin to a magnet at no charge! Truly an awesome place for gifts and just cool stuff! read more

I was looking online for jigsaw puzzles, and almost everyone is completely sold out. I happened to find the Stocklist website and saw that they sell the cutest puzzles! I bought 4 and the package arrived 2 days after being shipped (I live in California). Loved the note they wrote, and the "Greetings from Washington!" and "Thank you UPS" they wrote on the box. Cool shop with a variety of nifty gifts, knickknacks, and locally produced goods. Think fragrant, ornate candles; PNW themed art and patches; soaps and related products; funky socks; jewelry; books and greeting cards; and waste-eliminating inventions like reusable sandwich bags. I found some cool Christmas gifts for family members. For myself, I got a PNW patch because I want to make a patch jacket (metal fan here). The only thing I didn't like is they stock products some trite/sarcastic/obscene language. I admit they were kind of funny, but I feel that foul language doesn't really uplift or make our public sphere better; it just degrades it. Overall, I'm glad I checked this place out and hope they have continued success helping make downtown Tacoma a great place! read more

We stumbled upon this lovely shop after a nice dinner. We were peaking through the window, when the shop keeper opened the door and warmly welcomed us into her shop. Outstanding assortment of cards, kitchen items, socks, wrapping paper and more. For a first time entrepreneur the owner did a great job with just the right amount of everything. In addition, the displays and aisles were open and inviting. I also appreciated a well lit retail store. Absolutely loved this little shop! Lots of fun, quirky, modern items. I purchased many stickers, pins, lip gloss, a pint glass, and some other goods! As you can tell, there is something for everyone. The first time I walked in, I was waiting for an Uber that showed up early. The saleswoman was great and rang me up speedy quick to get me in the car! I returned the next day to continue my browsing. That's how great the store was! The saleswoman the next day was just as helpful. I'm not even from Washington, but I can't wait to visit Stocklist again. read more

Absolutely love this shop! We decided to check this place cause we were on the hunt to send our family back in CA some local gifts. This shop was the perfect place. They have local candy, art work, along with some nifty giftys. What put the cherry on top was being greeted by the staff (possibly store owner?) who offered us some shopping chocolate. To add on top of the cuteness, staff had their dog freely roaming around the shop greeting everyone and asking for treats. read more

Hate to be a buzzkill but someone had to say it, treat your customers with kindness. This shop is well curated and I love their large selection of Cavellini and Co. I am trying my best to shop locally and at the beginning of COVID-19 picked up several puzzles from here. Usually when I shop, it's the same lady and she's always so kind to me. Today's experience was a little awkward for me. The owner, told us that we must wear hand sanitizer to shop. I brought my own and she complied and let me use that. While I was browsing, another couple entered the shop and she immediately reached out and said please put the hand sanitizer on. The girl complied and I honestly don't think the guy heard because she repeated it and said "our rules don't exclude men". I about busted open the popcorn at this point because when he told the shop owner that his mask might slip, she offered a disposable and said snarkily or "I can just follow you around the store and make sure you keep your mask above your nose". I really appreciate her effort in keeping other customers and her staff safe. I work retail and understand the importance in making sure everyone complies and keeping people safe. I do think it is important to make sure people feel respected and try to show empathy towards other during this time especially if you're running the store. You're setting an example to your employees that it's okay to belittle people. read more

I just moved back to the area and was in desperate need of a Paper Source or any store that carried Rifle Paper Co. products. Thanks to the previous Yelp reviews, I decided to give Stocklist a try since it was on my way home. Liz (the owner) and her staff greeted me warmly the moment I entered the store. They are very respectful of your browsing style: they let me quietly take everything in and read all of the cards while they happily chatted with an elder gentleman who was just full of stories. I cannot recommend this store enough. Liz is not only one of the sweetest people I've ever met but she is very involved in the art community here in Tacoma. My particular favorites are the greeting cards and the WA and Tacoma stickers and postcards.
