How time flies…read more.. It's been way too long to mention the last time I've been here and usually it's because I was flying to PDX and there wasn't any direct flights but live and learn because the connecting flight was the tiniest plane for the distance I was going did intimidate me a bit. Fast forward to today I'm impressed of how stunning it is as we arrived in Concourse D everything including the Alaska lounge was just a few steps away you don't need to search for restrooms or places to eat there so much of that if not works of art everywhere. As we needed to change Concourse it was easy as using the SEA underground a train system that so fast and efficient without leaving the airport making the transition a breeze. Sadly we did arrive late in the night so most of the biz are closed you still feel very safe with lots of staff around. Since we do have a few hours to call it home knowing that they also have quite a bit of charging pilotless beside the seats at the gates it's not so bad and the weather quite cool as well. From there I made my way to the light rail. What a walk to this. I felt like it was a mile to get here. Once you think you are there, you turn a corner and find another long walkway to take. Making you think you have to walk along the edge because of the multitude of carts that will be transporting people. Spoiler alert, not a single cart came through here and there is more than enough space to freely walk where you want. Coming back her to fly out, I thought I was in for it. When I got off the light rail and made my way towards the terminal it looked like the longest line at an amusement park. I took my time outside because I thought I was going to be in a line forever. Still forever before I made my way to the gate, I was never happier to have Precheck. I got through that line rather quickly. On my way to the gate, I made a stop for food. I had my choices but went with fast. But the gate, lord was it crowded. I needed to find a place to eat my food, but the gates were just crowded with a ton of people. I did not care where I ate, as long as I could get my food down. While eating that's when two other flyers got into an argument, swapping name calls and getting in each others face. I had enough with it and turned around and told them to cut it out. It was not the time, nor the place. So many tired people, nowhere to sit, take it elsewhere. I finished my food, found a garbage can through the sea of people and made my way to a Hudson News to grab a puzzle book to kill the time until my flight boarded. By the time I made it back to my gate the flight before mine had boarded and seats had cleared out. I found one of the high top seats and settled in. It wasn't long until we were set to board and I was out of there.

Whenever we travel to a larger airport, such as Seattle, I pop my head into the Duty Free store to…read moresee if they have my friend's favorite cologne by Emporio Armani. For whatever reason, the Duty Free stores sell this cologne for far less than he can get on even Amazon. On this latest stop over, I picked up two bottles for a total of $130; apparently that same number of bottles would have been $40 more anywhere else! Customer service was good and I appreciated the heads up about a potential bag charge at the checkout so I could just chuck them in my backpack and keep it moving!

Much improved terminal, but frankly too much stuffed into too small a space. I suppose they did…read morethe best they could with the real estate they had, but with two sets of escalators, the exit for international flights, and the new security checkpoint converging in one location, they've set themselves up for too many people converging on one spot in too little square footage. All that said, the renovations came out great, so the aesthetic is nice. Just not sure this is a long term solution. Come prepared to stand amongst the considerable crowds!

Seems as though not too many people I know have had to go to the S gates. I've only done so three…read moretimes after about 20+ layovers in SEA over the last couple years. It can take a few trains to get there, depending on where you are. You still have the ability to get some snack, use the restroom and such, but make sure you have what you need before getting on all the way to the terminal, because it takes a little longer to get there. It's a little ratty and seems a bit run down. Mostly standing room, like most terminals anymore, unfortunately.

Thats super cheap for a long 11-12+ hour flight to Central Europe. yes, the food on the flight isn't that good and the seats are small and leg room is limited, but it's an economy flight. it's cheap, which limits many things. Overall, I think some things could improve, but the price would likely go up as well. overall, I am satisfied with Condor. When I travel to Europe again, I will consider them as an option.

Although I selected Premium Economy for my flight, paid double of what regular economy seats cost, the seats were extremely uncomfortable. Like sitting on a park bench. Leg room was an absolute joke. I'm 6 foot 3 and the little foot rest bar did absolutely nothing and took up leg room. See picture below. Anyways, the airplane was like a sauna! No more individual air vents. Now the flight attendants control the temperature for each and every zone. Asked my flight attendant 3 times to lower the temperature and was ignored. Not a single blanket was removed from the packaging because it was so hot. Drinks service on a 11 hour flight happens twice. For dinner and for breakfast. You're out of luck if you want anything in between. You can try asking the flight attendant but then they'll turn up the thermostat. My only regret about flying Condor, is having to fly Condor back home. Stay away from Condor! Not worth the money or headache.

Terrible "bait and switch" on the carry on bag. They have a smaller size requirement than other…read moreairlines. They allowed our carry on for SEA to Reykjavik, and Edinburgh to Reykjavik. But Iceland to SEA or to Europe, they stop you after you walk into restricted boarding area and charge $100USD while you are already in line to board. No chance to consolidate or shrink carry on bag. Do not buy carry ons where wheels exceed the small carry on limits. Iceland air will "hose" you. This, I guarantee.... is a built in revenue generator imposed to take advantage of weary cross Atlantic travelers when they have no choice. Dozens were stopped on my flight today for an extra $100+. Then on-board there are no free blankets, pillows, snacks, food, or free drinks other than coffee, soda and water. Glasses are 3oz for coffee. This is an 8 hour flight! Very "cheapskate service" for a long trip. Then the costs of food, drinks, dinner, entertainment in Iceland is 2-3x the USA prices. The flight attendants looked great though! After a week in Iceland I felt I was spending "Baja CA prices" when in UK for fine Scotch and class A food. Pack very light and NO CARRY ON if you fly Iceland air and patch Chipotle burritos early for your in flight meal.

They put us on another later flight and that planes computer didn't work so we had to spend the night there. There was no one representing Icelandair to help us. They were supposed to give us vouchers for dinner and did not. Finally buses came and took us to some youth hostel an hour away. This place had a restaurant that was closed as by then it was midnight. Though we received breakfast, Icelandair refused to give us meal vouchers for lunch. Our flight didn't leave until 6 pm in the evening. Onboard, they put us in the cheapest seats, even though we had paid for upgrades. I will NEVER fly Icelandic again. If I could give them a "0", I would.

Unfortunately many things still hasn't changed or improved…read more Espresso machine at this terminal's Club has been broken for probably a year now and it's still not working. The machine looks like it got repaired or something but the sign is still out indicating it's broken. Food menu hasn't changed for maybe half a year now. The only thing kinda changed is one of their salad options and something cosmetic like the salad dressing container. Bar is also the same old, but, i do have to say recently (about a year + now) their bar options has improved with some seasonal drinks options. The lounge is pretty ok and clean to stay, get something to eat before your flight. Staffs are quite friendly about 8 out of 10.

For breakfast, the only hot food options were egg bites or waffles. The lounge advertised congee, but there wasn't any available. There was also only one type of milk, which seemed surprisingly limited. The lounge itself is large and was nearly empty--which, after the experience, wasn't surprising. While it offers plenty of seating, the food selection and overall amenities fall well short of expectations. Compared to the American Express Centurion Lounge or even the Delta Sky Club, The Club SEA is a far cry from the experience those lounges provide. If you have access to another lounge, I'd recommend choosing that instead. Unfortunately, if you're departing from the S Gates, this may be your only option.

After a gritty over crowded underground train ride the doors open and a mad rush of human waist head for the escalators. I'm included in that afterbirth of people but I'm special. I skip the shops and head for "THE LOUNGE"! Alaska Airlines has their premium lounge for people who pay to be pampered and of coarse I pay for that privilege... I enjoy the spectacular view of planes taking off while having unlimited tasty beverage ( sometimes alcohol ) and typically morning goodies. This refuge allows me to hide out from the scourge of humanity waiting for a plane to somewhere... Ok, there are plenty of dining and beverage places to wet your whistle including a Wendy's can you believe it... In fact grabbing a chili for my flight is a wonderful idea. It will keep the travel people away from me as I'll donate some of myTreblinka fumes into the ozone layer... Moving onto the shopping well many opportunity's to purchase candy or clothing and maybe even a silly souvenir of our local sports team. Enjoy your experience and have a wonderful flight! And please folks one reminder DO NOT WHISTLE while you walk around, it's annoying!

Gates N... Now I…read moreknow the ways to get around Seattle-Tacoma and not to book flight in the early morning and why it's a great deal...the trains don't run so you must use your legs lol got my cardio for sure but impressed how we did it. The staff at the N gate for our connecting flights are so rude and condescending as I felt so insulted even as we tried to put our items in the overhead compartment they were very unsympathetic in fact the guest behind us was more helpful gives me the indication of not favoring to fly with Alaska. Even as they made announcements she highlight my crossbody bag needs to be stowed in the overhead bin since of our seating. With the price increase of extra for choosing your seat...extra for check in bags...extra for meals...extra for carry on bags it made perfect sense to upgrade our tickets though other than priority boarding and all the usual amenities it came with Alaska isn't as welcome as Hawaiian and it's a shame. No lounge access for flights under 2000 miles unless you're a member nothing gives me a reason to even earn miles for flights that doesn't feel rewarding...the service needs much improvement.

The place is too crowded. If you come with a larger party...any party larger than 2 people, you may have a hard tome findings seats next to each other. Heck, even just one seat can be hard to.come by if you stop by..say 5pm. The lounge waa very small so..it felt very cramped and not very calm to me. They did have food, but it was mostly a few selection of sandwiches, soups..and a small salad bar. Overall, it was just ok. I was surprises a city as big as Seattle has an airport lounge this small. Seemed like a mismatch to me!

The club was well staffed and they cleaned the empty tables very quickly. The club was also very quiet as they made no announcements so you need to keep an eye on the time and the distance from the club to the gate. The club is also very nicely decorated with sports jerseys framed on the walls and hanging artwork from the ceiling. Breakfast is served from opening until 10:30 and then they shut down until lunch starts at 11am.

Every time I check in, I take the stairs, and every time I get to the 3rd floor, I tell myself to take the elevator. EVERY TIME!! :) :) :) They are always crowded but I always find a seat with a charging station. the employees keep the place super clean and are very friendly. Love the food, drinks and desserts. Again, I am so thankful for the Delta Sky Club. I will see you again in 2 weeks.

The SEATAC United Club is an OG basic club. The space is fortunately roomy. The food is limited…read moreselection. The service is friendly and kind. Located by Gate A10, they are a bit out of the way nowadays because their flights moved to B gates. Plan on walking 13 minutes between lounge and gates according to their sign. We did the walk in 9 minutes. During breakfast time, they had a pretty good egg salad croissant sandwich and fresh berries. The photos posted by others are accurate.

The Seattle United Club is old school. There is a fair amount of space and the staff were friendly…read more They lacked in the food offerings compared to some other Clubs. Granted this is not a hub so one does not expect too much. This Club also is pretty far away from the gates so it is either good exercise or an inconvenience.
