This has got to be the cleanest, nicest, well kept grocery store I've ever seen. We came down for a…read morefamily vacation and ordered several meat / cheese / chicken salad / fruit trays to have at the AirBnB. I had never been in the store before, I'd never even heard of it because we're from the north. The manager talked to us. Employees showed us where to go to find anything we needed. I was very impressed. I wish Ohio had a Publix and not a nasty Kroger's that we currently have. See the pictures for these gorgeous food trays they put together. Everything was all so fresh.

Despite placing an order online to avoid…read morewaiting in line, when we arrived at 3:30 (when our food was supposed to be ready, as we'd placed our order around 45 minutes earlier), the food wasn't ready. Our food (four subs) was STILL not ready for another 30 minutes. There was a steady line of in person customers, of course, but they had three workers actively making subs, and all three of them appeared to be prioritizing the in-person line. Only sporadically did they work on our online order, even though they were already behind on our order & those in line had only just arrived. Three other customers who had placed online orders arrived while we were waiting and were still waiting when we left. We finally got our last sub just as they finished serving their last customer in line. Again, this was 30 minutes after we had arrived, 30 minutes after our food was supposed to be ready, and fully an hour and 15 minutes past when our order had been originally placed. This was quite frustrating. I appreciate that the workers appeared to be doing their best, and they did apologize for the wait, which I also appreciate. But I could have gotten my food within 15 minutes if I had just gotten in line with everyone else. I'm not sure what the point is of having online ordering available, if the food isn't going to be ready when promised and the online orders are going to be so deprioritized compared to the in-person orders. Either they need to change their "ready by" times or they need to change their workflow. I will say, the sandwich, which was a vegan turkey situation, was absolutely delicious. I just wish I hadn't had to stand for 30 minutes and watch them make food for other people when our order had already been pending for longer than anyone in line.

Well, if you know you know. And I could end my review there but you opened my review up to read…read moresooooooo ... F what you know about grocery stores because Wegmans is the King of High End Grocery. I'll immediately tell you that my star bump is because of cost and no dining at this location ("trust me bro", that's not really a major deciding factor). I've been to locations that offer up dining and amazing draft beer options, and costs at Wegmans aren't for the faint of heart but, in my Jim Carey voice, "lemme tell you somethinnnnn" ... their options will appease all types of food diets. Hands down, they have the BEST sushi options around. Fresh rolls, fresh sashimi, fresh nigiri ... the freshest and best you'll get at a non-Asian grocery store. Now you'll pay close to restaurant prices but it's well worth it. That is why I keep coming back to this location. And for beer and wine snobs, they got yo butt covered! I'd say 10-15% of the store is just wine and beer. Domestic and Foreign, as well as local. Gluten free brats, eat your heart out! I wandered down the gluten free aisle and got me some goodies! Gluten free Oreos and cereal . Wegmans brand is like a top tier option from Publix brand. And that's saying a lot, considering Publix brand is a galaxy away from Kroger brand. There are so many savory options here, including all the buffet stations. Listen, I just left here for my 5th time in (out of town but visiting for work) and will need to stop my review before my tummy forces me back there. Those in the know ... you're lucky to have this as an option here. Those out of the loop ... get some!!

It's better than Publix or Kroger, with a laid-back vibe like H.E.B or Whole Foods. They make many in-house items, fresh bread, desserts, marinated meats, and ready-to-eat meals, everything feels fresh and special. They also have a great range of organics and specialty items, perfect for dietary needs or healthy options. The staff is friendly, the store is clean, and shopping is easy and relaxed. With a bakery, international goodies, and prepared foods! Next time im looking forward to getting a Sando, heard they were to die for!

She said that would not be possible and I would have to wait until it was my turn in queue.. Fine I got everybody the car and into Walmart. 1220 she calls me to say the nail hole could not be repaired and I needed to come back to the counter. After getting everyone checked out I got us all back to the counter. Her and manager Larry seem to be have verbal altercation behind counter in front of all customers She said I would need a new tire and the warranty that I bought two months ago on these new tires would only provide a discount on the new tire. I asked her how long it would take for the new tire to be put on. She said I don't know , we've been waiting for you to come back in a very condescending and rude way which had nothing to do with how long the new tire would take.Another 30 minutes goes by and they called to tell me they cannot find my lock key for the tire. they were the last ones to change the tires on the car. The rude woman at the counter was absolutely no help so I asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to the manager, Larry, who went out to also look in the car for the key. Comes back he can't find it , says some else must've lost it. I explained to him that nobody had touched my tires since they put them on two months ago.. He said nothing I can do ,so after 2 1/2 hours I got absolutely no service done, no sorry I lost your key ,no offer of resolution for any of it. The old lady at the counter was so rude to customers that the other employees were apologizing for her bad behavior. She should not be working in customer service anywhere. Larry needs to go back for more management training and how to resolve issues I will never use that car center again. When I got to the restaurant up the road, I googled what a lock key looked like , looked around the trunk , moved a couple things and lo and behold. There's the damn key. unbelievable!!

The sign out by the road made me a little skeptical but I convinced my husband to turn around and let me take a look inside- I was sure glad we did. It has an abundance of everything you can think of if you like to bake or just enjoy to eat. I have been wanting to bake pumpernickel bread forever but finding all the ingredients just never happens but I was thrilled to find Every variety of flour from medium rye meal pumpernickel to einkorn. They even had the malt powder. Home I went to bake up my first loaf ever and it was excellent! The have all sorts of things, if you like to bake- thickening agents, Sugars, flavorings,...a variety of jams, cheese, meats, baking pans, gadgets... They have fresh baked bread-we brought home a loaf of sourdough bread- regular loaf style but was fresh and pretty good. Planning a trip back with some friends, there is a nice new cafe in Roxboro- Incorrigible Cafe, will grab lunch there and then head over to Yoder's for something different to do. There is also an old school house and jail in town. I believe you need an appointment to go inside. Also prices were good compared to Whole Foods. Worth a trip if you don't live nearby.
