This causes me to have to go to another store or make another trip to the Aldi Store a few days later. I get discusted and just go to the other Local Grocery Store here in town.

Aldi has easily made me a BIG fan of their stores by the fact I save more then any other store I…read moreshop at, they keep it plain and simple with ease of shopping and great prices, the checkout is a dream, and you just can't beat the savings and great customer service. What I think I love most about this place (although there are so many things to love about this place) is that the store isn't so huge that your having to search endlessly for things you want and need. What a beautiful breath of fresh air! The aisles are just large enough to find what you need quickly and easily without being in others way and they being in yours. Isn't it awful when you feel all congested in one aisle and find it hard to maneuver around due the high level of traffic?! I don't know about you but I don't like feeling trapped in an aisle with a bunch of strangers that most likely feel just as trapped as me! You won't find that at Aldi's...which is doubly a breath of fresh air. From start to finish, I have always been so impressed by how this store functions as a whole, and it's prices and ease of shopping keeps bringing me back each and every time I need to do big grocery shopping! I have visited numerous Aldis in the Hampton Roads area of VA, Richmond, VA, as well as Rocky Mount location of NC and for the most part, all the stores seem similar (maybe a few different seasonal items at each location) but all around the same in every positive respect. There are times of the day it will be most busy....so if your looking for the best experience you will have to find out when the prime times are for your location. I went right before the snow...and well even then it went pretty smoothly...and that says a lot about Aldis for sure for those who know how crazy people get before a little snow!

The store is small, but there's a lot of good hidden gems inside-all in bulk of course. Fred's has been around for a few years and my dad always shopped there and told me about it, but I paid him no mind. I ventured in there myself last year for the first time and whenever I come home to visit its a must stop before heading back. I absolutely love this place!

This might be a smaller location, as there wasn't a large section of things. However, I can see this would be a good place for those that have large gathering, need to fill up vending machines, or small food businesses. There were a few unique items, but nothing that really stood out for me. The staff was very friendly. The store was clean, older, but clean. To put it into context, it reminds you of a very older and smaller Sam's Club/BJs.

The store was pretty busy but even with it being as busy as it was on the inside we didn't have to wait long to get gas. There was a loud beeping sound that was going off inside the store. At first I thought that I was the only one hearing it because no one else in the store was reacting to it--I found out that I wasn't going crazy when my friend, that had already gone back outside, told me that she had heard it too. I don't know if that sound was normal, no one was reacting to it. The bathroom was clean, which I really appreciated! There was a sign on the door, though, that made me a bit nervous to enter. It said, "Knock before entering" I wasn't sure if that meant that the door's lock didn't really work. I didn't test it, I used the restroom quickly and got out of there before anyone got a chance to knock...or come on in if they weren't reading!

Don't come here expecting a Safeway/Giant type of experience. This one level lower, like Food Lion. That isn't a bad thing, but the selections are not the same as those stores and I appreciate that. Sometimes, you don't need all that. The staff has been friendly and helpful to me. Always courteous. The patrons too! I have a blast every time I come to this location it's as if I'm a kid in a candy store. I come here to get stuff for friends and colleagues. Stuff like Piggly Wiggly branded merchandise and souvenirs. I just wish they sold Blue Bell ice cream! I've been wanting to try it for a while.
