I went to get a couple pairs of earrings for my daughter. I explained I only wanted solid gold as she was just about to her her ears pierced for the first time and I didn't want her to have a reaction. The sales associate pointed me to the section of solid "gold" and I picked out some CZ studs mounted in yellow gold. NOT real gold. At least not solid gold. I didn't put these in until her ears were completely healed. After about 2 months of wear are completely tarnished and I only noticed after her ears started having a weird smell. Basically I was sold costume jewelry after being assured it was high quality. I won't be buying anything from them again. And please do not EVER pierce here. Piercing guns are unsanitary and damage the ear (blunt force trauma). I got hers done at an amazing tattoo shop. I'll put a review up on that soon! read more

I took my 6 month old baby to get her ears pierced. I was a little nervous getting her ears done at the mall because I know that stores like Claire's aren't very well trained and the way in which they pierce is not as sanitary as it could be. After researching, I decided Piercing Pagoda was the right choice. Their piercers are very well trained and experienced. The method of piercing is also very good (to save time, I'm not going to go into detail about what methods are better and why). Anyway, we got there and one of the ladies greeted us. After we got paperwork signed and we purchased the earrings, they brought us into their booth and my daughter and her father sat in a chair while the piercer drew dots of her ears. After we decided on where the holes would be, the lady called over the other employee and they pierced my daughters ears at the same time. My daughter cried for about 30 seconds snd the ladies were great in trying to make her happy again. It's been over a week and her ears have had zero issues. They look amazing. I'm so happy with them and grateful that the ladies at Piercing Pagoda made this such an easy and quick process! read more

I took my two grand daughters ages 7 and 5 to get their ears pierced. The workers could not have been better. The girls were nervous and the employees were so good with them. A few hours after we left one of the backs came off one of the earrings. I suspect it didn't get tight on there during the piercing. Anyway we went back to get a replacement and again, they could not have been more kind and ready to make it right. Would recommend to anyone. Also when we were trying to mark the spots on the girls ears, they were very methodical and we worked together to get the perfect piercings. It was phenomenal read more

I've had good experiences here in the past by the same woman with short hair and glasses. She's amazing and super helpful! I wish I knew her name. The last two visits not so much. The first time I approached the counter, the two customer service reps were piercing each other's ears. Looked at me but continued on. Whatever, so I go walk around and come back. They're now both busy helping guests so I waited patiently (not a big deal at all!), then when it's finally my turn, while helping me they're discussing how they hit their sales goals for the day... right in front of me. Congrats, but not appropriate. Especially when you throw on a warranty without asking or warning me, luckily I caught on to the price being a little higher than it should've. Tip: ASK people if they want a warranty before assuming, or hoping they don't notice. Today I go back to return my nose rings because one fell out in my sleep and my piercing closed! While I'm standing there waiting for my refund, a woman walks by with her 4-5 year old. She asked, "mommy is this where we're going?" to which she replied, "No we're going to go to Claire's." The sales rep scoffed and said, "Good we didn't want to do it anyway." SO inappropriate!!! Embarrassing that you'd say something like that when paying customers are all over and able to hear you. read more

Do not go to this place! Avoided at all cost, customer service here is disgusting. As someone who works in customer service and retail; I understand sometimes you have to wait but I waited 40 minutes to be served there was three employees working and not a single one of them paid any attention to me. It got to the point where other customers were insisting that I needed to be helped. Because they noticed that I waited so long. And worst of all the so called manager there has the worst customer service. I am beyond frustrated at the way I was treated there! When I was finally helped the employee made a joke of my frustration. I will never be returning to this place again and I will make sure that I let everyone I know is aware that the quality of their jewelry isn't worth the wait and mistreatment you're going to receive. read more

Went here on Christmas Eve. A woman and a young guy are working, but focusing all of their attention on ONE customer, and ignoring the rest of the customers. Several people came and were waiting to get help, to see pieces of jewelry, or ask questions but were simply told "We will be right with you." I wanted to make a purchase as well, and was about to walk away when finally the young guy came and pulled the jewelry I wanted. I asked him a question and he replied in a loud sarcastic voice his answer. All I could think of was that this it the WORST customer service in the world. AND on Christmas Even no less. Disgusting behavior and I will take my business to Roseville in the future where, as a customer, me and my money won't be treated like an inconvenience NOR will I be talked to in a disrespectful manner. Took my 13 year old here to get her ears pierced for her birthday. I wasn't aware it's just a kiosk in the middle of the mall. They were a little pricey for 14k studs, but the lady who helped us was wonderful and very professional. She was so kind and calm, so it was a good experience for my daughter. She was also so careful with placement and had my husband and I approve of the marks prior to piercing. Yes, they did tack on a $5.99 warranty, but that's pretty cheap for a good guarantee and return check ups if needed. We were all happy with the experience. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Took my 3 month old daughter here to get her ears pierced and regret it now. They pierced them so crooked that one ear had to be completely re-pierced. It was bad enough hearing my baby scream the first time around. The piercing still looks uneven. I can't even imagine making my daughter go through that again. During a visit at the Sunrise Mall, I decided it was time to get my 8-year old granddaughter's ears pierced while there. Claire's was the obvious choice and was our first stop. The very friendly sales girl recommended the diamond or 24K/14K gold for first time ear piercing. I was a little stunned at the prices, so I said I would have to think about it. When walking through the mall, I noticed a place called "Piercing Pagoda". A sign on the counter says they do piercing with earrings starting at $20. Well, I didn't see any for $20 but their prices were lower than Claire's. After talking with the sales guy, I decided on this place. My granddaughter picked out some gold crown earrings. After giving all the required info, we then waited 10-15 minutes. I was real happy with the way they took their time and made my granddaughter feel as comfortable as possible. Giving her a purple bear named "Blue" to hug was definitely a nice touch and really helped ease my granddaughter's nerves. Karen was especially helpful and was obviously experienced with kids. She ended the piercing session by giving my granddaughter a cute certificate for getting her ears pierced there. I would definitely recommend this place for your child's first time ear piercing. Great customer service. Staff knew all about their products and ear piercing procedures. They made my 3 year old daughter comfortable and did both ears at the same time. They had lollipops, a teddy bear to hug, and a certificate at the end. Nice selection of gold earrings also. Don't go! Stay away! Not sanitary! I got my ears pierced on Friday, August 3rd by Sunday my right ear lobe was inflamed and infected. I went to urgent care and they prescribed me some antibiotics. I took the antibiotics for 10 days with no improvement. I finally had to take the earring out BUT my ear was till infected. I ended up going to the doctor a total of 5 times for different antibiotics. I also had to have my ear drained of the puss BUT since the it has been trapped in the ear lobe for so long, a month, it became a solid mass. I now have to wait for my ear full of hardened puss to dissipate and for the inflammation go down before I can get it pierced again. The NP and plastic surgeon I consulted with said it can take months. So I' m now walking around with one ear pierced and one not! Not a happy camper! Thinking back on when I got my ears pierced, she did not sanitize the gun or her hands or my ear thoroughly enough. From all of the doctors visits and prescriptions purchased, I've spent several hundred dollars on an infected ear. Money that could of been spent somewhere else! They did give me a store credit for the earrings I bought but it was NOT nearly enough to cover the doctor's bills. read more

I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced for her 3rd birthday and am a very happy customer. I got my 3rd and 4th holes pierced here 17 years ago and they have never caused me any problems. Romana pierced my daughter's ears and I couldn't have asked for a better piercer. She was so gentle, understanding, patient and sensitive with my daughter and myself; I was more nervous for my baby than she was herself. They said I could move the marker on her ear as many times as I liked, but she 'nailed' it on the first mark, no pun intended. She gave her a plush puppy dog with pierced ears to hold and distract her. She gave her a lollipop and stickers when she was done. It hurt and she cried but Romana handled it so beautifully and I would highly recommend her and Piercing Pagoda to everyone, especially to get a baby or kid's ears pierced. They take more time and attention and have better jewelry than bigger, cheaper chain stores like Claire's. They offer an extended warranty and just have wonderful service all around. read more

My 8 year old wanted to get her ears pierced. She was super excited but extremely nervous because she had had infected ear piercings years ago. Veronica at piercing pagoda directed us to gold earrings that are less likely to cause allergic reaction and she was very patient as we selected a pair. They were also running a deal for free piercing plus 1/2 off a second pair of earrings when you purchase piercing studs. Then when it was time for the piercing Veronica was super calm and patient. Veronica gave her a lollipop while she prepared and sanitized tools. Veronica saw that my daughter was very nervous and immediately crouched down to kid level. She calmed her down very patiently, encouraging her to take some deep breaths, and my daughter calmed down very quickly. Veronica then said that she would not do the piercing until my daughter said "go", and that's exactly what she did. Soon the piercings were done and my daughter was smiling.
