Came in to pick up a purchase and bring a necklace in to get cleaned. Figured it would take a couple hours for the cleaning. They came back 5 minutes later and said it was all clean. The quality and attention to detail in this cleaning is absolutely disgusting and I'm appalled that I even accepted it before leaving the store today. Will swiftly be back tomorrow and rectify this situation promptly read more

Arlene and Ashley went above and beyond helping me with tricky needs. I went there several times, each of them spent 1+ hrs helping me pick out an item. I gained so much knowledge and they never made me feel rushed. They don't work on commission. The location was very welcoming and comfortable. All of the staff really worked well together to make a cohesive team and somewhere you feel comfortable. Thank you Shane Co! read more

Jessica H. was extremely helpful, answering all our questions, and was super friendly. Would recommend asking for her.

My girlfriend and I went in to the store yesterday to do first time engagement ring shopping. Jessica and Cindy helped us out and it was phenomenal. Jessica answered all of our questions, even the ones we didn't know we had lol. We were nervous that jewelers would try to push to sell rings but they were super helpful and we left feeling like we got the best experience possible. Also, Shane Co had an enormous selection so it made it really easy to narrow down a ring. I would definitely recommend. 10/10 read more

The staff here is exceptional. My fiancé appreciated the pressure-free buying process and the convenience of saving ring details under his account. Today, Dylan helped me resize and establish my ring for the lifetime warranty. Despite a few-day wait, due to our upcoming trip, Dylan expedited the process after understanding our situation. Dylan, thank you so much. I left with tears in my eyes, knowing my new ring was in good hands. read more

I would like to compliment the store manager: Ms. "Kim Nguyen" for her immaculatey displayed jewels of Roseville. I would like to compliment the extreme customer service I received during my visit for the recovery of my "unclaimed property". Ms. "Jessica Blankenship", the most knowledgeable Sr.CSA helped me with management to recover my $100 claim & while I was there, I purchased a set of earings for my wife which I reconnoitered while waiting for Jessica to proceed with the unclaimed property. #BravoZulu Jessica Blankenship & Kim Nguyen Much gratitude! I saw an Opal necklace online and thought it was beautiful. I went into Shane and Company and asked if they had one I could see in person. I didn't want to order it online. The place was very busy, but they had plenty of help. That young man that helped me showed me a necklace and it was so pretty. I walked out the door with a beautiful new necklace. read more

In 2013, my husband and I purchased our wedding rings from Shane Co. in Roseville. Since we were spending a great deal of money on the actual wedding (and the fact we are both males with no desire to wear diamonds or other expensive jewels), we chose some moderately priced titanium rings. The sales person was friendly and accommodating. He did not try to sell us something more expensive. Fast forward to 2026.....my ring still fits perfectly, but my husband's fingers have expanded. HIs ring no longer fits. We called Shane Co Roseville, and the person answering the phone was also friendly and explained our options. We will definitely be visiting them soon for new rings. read more

My fiancé worked with Dempsey to design my engagement ring, and he was blown away by Dempsey's professionalism, kindness, and warmth during the process. After the proposal, we went back for some adjustments. Even though what we wanted was a complicated, Dempsey truly listened and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He even brought in the master jeweler, Tommy, who was also incredibly professional and kind. 10/10 experience with both! read more

Dempsey did such an amazing job helping my fiancé and I find wedding bands. Dempsey and Norm at Roseville Shane Co. made my engagement ring special! I recently had the pleasure of working with Dempsey and Norm to customize a diamond ring, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. They altered a Paris setting to accommodate a 3.5-carat stone! From start to finish, they were easy to work with, keeping me informed every step of the way. They truly listened to what I wanted, and the end result was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend Dempsey and Norm for their exceptional service and beautiful results. read more

Ordered a ring and forgot to make sure the setting was East-West. called to make sure it was after they said it was. Everytime I spoke with someone after they reassured me it was changed to East-West, I made sure at least 2-3 more times. Two weeks ago I asked again and was reassured it was. I get the ring today and it's set North-South. I was planning on asking in 4 days (certain day) not enough time to return it and get it back. They tell me I can propose with that and send it back or I can send it back the next day and hope it gets back here in 2 days. That and a $200 gift card which I'm sure comes with caveats. I don't have much faith in them correcting it and getting back what I bought or even in time if they don't even read their own notes before making a ring it kind of makes one question everything about the company. read more

We went to Shane Co. to select an engagement ring. We were initially assisted by Dylan and then referred to Amber. Our experience with both Dylan and Amber was outstanding. Amber helped us select a radiant cut center stone which is one of the newer cuts and has more facets than the traditional round brilliant. The radiant cut resembles crushed ice. She was patient as my fiance and now wife went through several settings before selecting a cathedral style ring. We picked it up several days later and were very pleased. All of the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Shane Company. read more

My boyfriend and I came in to view and try on engagement rings. We were helped by Kim, Dylan and Matthew who were all amazing and went above and beyond. Kim knew exactly what I was looking for in a setting and then Dylan found my dream center stone. I pieced together my dream engagement ring (even getting a different basket) with their help. Matthew helped explained the payment process and warranty. Never once did we feel pressured. Only thing I wish was different was that I could have tried on the setting I chose, but what they had in stock was just too small of a size. Recommend this location to everyone and anyone! read more

Wow, this is an amazing Shane Co! My husband and I purchased my engagement ring and wedding band back in 2016, and my jewelry has been through the wringer since then. I came in since some stones had fallen out and the ring was in need of repair. Melissa was so incredibly hospitable and kind. She helped everyone who was waiting in such a friendly, helpful manner. She worked with me to figure out how to best fix and take care of my ring. She went above and beyond. She educated me on ring care, the warranty, and how to take the best care of my ring. I know I will be a loyal customer for life for Shane Co, and I'll make sure to request Melissa each time I go :) read more

I am updating my review of Shane Co because I really wish there was a way existing customers could drop of their jewelry for a cleaning then come back and pick it up once it is ready. I was told I could not drop off my ring and the wait can be up to an hour the last few times I came by. I was also told I could not make a reservation for the cleaning. For more thoughts on Shane Co, please see my 5 Star review from several years ago. read more

I couldn't have had a better outcome at Shane Co. I made an appointment to view and try on what I had hoped would just be a center stone upgrade. There was a long line out the door and I they took my name. A man named, Frank introduced himself and I let him know what I was looking for and my price range. After 20 years of marriage, my husband and I wanted to keep the original piece and keep the cost under $5,000. Frank was extremely rude and emotionless as he showed me a platinum ring that was at least double our budget. I thought he was having difficulty understanding me, so I explained to him my story about the small stone on my hand and how sentimental I am about the ring. Frank has zero emotional intelligence. When Frank went behind a door to find something, I told my husband (loudly) that we'd leave because Frank and I weren't feeling each other and I wasn't going to let him ruin the day I'd been dreaming about for 20 years. I waited for Frank to return and out came (my angel) Allysa. She explained that she'd take over for Frank and would spend as much time as necessary to make us happy. Boy, did she deliver on her word! After 2 hours, Allysa helped us create the most affordable solution. Her customer service was exceptional. She exhibited emotional intelligence, charm, empathy, and humor. During our time together, she made me feel verified and special. She listened to stories about our 20 years together and told a few of her own (giving emotional collateral). While I can't imagine that our $5000 made win her a huge commission, I will be a repeat customer for life after this experience. My husband and I were so taken with her knowledge, patience, and kindness that I asked if I could have my photo taken with her. I now have my "dream ring" and will be back as a repeat customer. My wife and l went in on 8-18-25 to have her wedding ring resized. We were told that they wouldn't be able to resize it because of the architecture of the ring, and we should just put it in a box for keepsakes. We were really disappointed because of the sentimental valve but didn't question it. Then we said we needed to buy a chain for a pendant that we had. We were taken over to a section of the store and the employee pointed through the display case and said our chains are right there and walked off and started helping another customer on the other side of the store. We immediately had questions and wanted to look at a chain. We stood there for 10 minutes waiting for her to come back. We finally got disgusted and left. I've done business at this location three other times and never had such poor customer service, I definitely won't be back. To make matters even worse, I suggested checking with Sheriffs jewelry around the corner. The customer service we received at Sheriffs was over the top. They said that the ring could absolutely be resized, and it turned out beautiful. More that accommodating to show us their line of chains and offer advice on which ones might work best for what she needed. read more

It's about time I wrote a review for Shane Co! We have been coming for many years. They have one of the best selection of fine jewelry around. We came here after Christmas, my hubby wanted to buy me a necklace and he showed me some choices he found online but they weren't what I had in mind. They were all beautiful but I wanted something I could wear daily. When we came in, they were quite busy. Due to COVID, we had to get our temps screened, then we checked in with the reception desk. They told us it would be about a half an hour before an associate could see us. That was fine, we waited in their socially distanced waiting area. We were just at another jewelry store down the road and they didn't have all the safety measures in place as Shane Co. When our associate finally helped us, she was also helping another couple as well. They had more customers than they had staffing available. Seems that's the case at a lot of businesses due to COVID. Anyways, I found the necklace I wanted and I love it! I love all the jewelry I get here! You can always trade in any purchase for any item as long as it is $1 more. But I love everything I've received over the years and wouldn't want to part with them because of their sentimental value. We highly recommend Shane Co if you're in the market for fine jewelry. The quality and service can't be beat. read more

When Hubs popped the question way back in.....2012, little did I even know about fine jewelry. But once we started shopping for rings, I learned quite a bit & it was thanks to Shane Co.! So when we began the hunt for wedding bands, we came to Shane after the fabulous experience Hubs had while finding my gorgeous engagement ring! Obviously it's been years since that happened, but year-in & year-out, we continue coming back for the excellent customer service we get every single time! Never do I ever feel pressured to buy anything! Always do I get friendly, courteous service during our routine cleanings. And before COVID, they used to have complimentary chocolates that I LOOOVED having each visit. Add that to the complimentary water bottles they supply upon entering, I just don't imagine going anywhere else for our jewelry needs. Their most recent process during COVID is curbside services. See my pic with their instructions. It was a smooth process & super easy, not compromising the stellar service they're already known for. Whether looking for a nice piece of jewelry for yourself or for a loved one, I highly recommend coming to Shane Co. to find what you're looking for. They're the best in town!!! read more

My husband surprised me with an unplanned trip to purchase a new ring. I was unprepared, but Dempsey was there to make everything perfect! With his assistance, we were able to design the perfect ring for me. (Ring, guards and stone too!) He could not have been more helpful as I had a very hard time deciding. There were 2 I saw on line in other stores. I have to also say, in contacting those stores, they were kind enough to send me pictures of the rings on someone at the store's hand to see if they were in the running. Dempsey is personable, great at designing, has integrity, honesty and knows everything he should when it comes to jewelery I couldn't be happier. read more
