Pies are marvelous. Exactly what my 97 year old mother craves. Lots of selections and inventory. read more

Best pies and cheesecakes in town! Raspberry anything from here is my go to, definitely worth the price! read more

I decided to try this place out because I heard they had a rhubarb strawberry pie which can be hard to find this time of year. I ordered a slice and could only take two bites as it had a strong canned fruit taste and so overly sweet. It made me question why I didn't just purchase one at the grocery store! It's just strange that a place called "Piefection" would sell such generic, run of the mill pies that taste no different than commercial. Every piece of pie looked exactly the same in there, just different filling injected inside. It was just very disappointing as I had high hopes! read more

Their Blueberry Pie is ridiculously good. They use Maine blueberries. They are smaller, sweeter and grow in bunches near the ground. Mmmmm.

I was so excited to check out Piefection. I love pie, and one of my favorites is Julians (California), so I wanted to compare the two. I couldn't wait to check out all the options. I arrived 15 mins after they opened to beat the heat and was greeted by a sweet girl. However, I instantly realized that I had made a mistake. The store was empty, with no fresh pies available; everything in the cooler looked like it had sat overnight. The crust was saturated with juice and presented sloppily. I discovered a few individual pies not far from the cooler but couldn't discern if they were fresh or not - so I asked. Fresh pies were in the oven and usually aren't available until 11 or 12 unless you order in advance. So disappointing. I completely understand having low inventory as you never want to overproduce, but don't open at 10 to only offer leftover pies. So now I was faced with a decision, do I leave empty-handed or try day-old pie? I caved and bought a slice of cherry and apple - disappointed again. The slices of pie were terrible - soggy crust, lacked flavor and just wrong for selling them at full price. At this point, not sure I will go back. I think there are too many other bakeries in town and will try pie snob next. read more

Based on some of the prior reviews, I had high expectations. I went on Saturday morning when they opened. Apparently, they don't have many of their single serving pies available yet, as they are still baking, so what's out is primarily from the day before. We asked when the other pie would be ready and we were told 11. Why open at 10 if you're not prepared for walk-ins until 11? We picked up a slice of cherry and a slice of apple. Both were watery and the crust was soggy. The service was also subpar. No greeting, no help. read more

Overrated, over priced & incompetent staff. 40 bucks for an okay fruit pie. Christmas week and they don't open till 10:00am? Once I finally made it inside (I was one of the first in line) the one employee informed us that it would be another 20min because the pies weren't ready. read more

I was so excited to try the pies based on great reviews. My husband and I picked up a Boston Cream and a Lemon Meringue pie for Christmas dessert. The ganache on the Boston Cteam was so thick it separated from the rest of the pie when cut. The cream and the cake were mushed together like someone had stirred it together and I could not tell the difference between the cake and the cream. It was more like a pudding. I took two bites and threw the rest away. The Lemon Meringue was no better. The lemon filling layer was super thin and not really firm and the meringue had not been beaten enough to get those nice meringue peaks when baked, and was almost flat. It's like they made both of them in a hurry as they were probably baking so many for the holidays they rushed making the pies. About $60 for both pies and out of the 12 people at my home, no one ate them it was all thrown away. Good thing my mother in law brought a dessert too so everyone got something sweet. Hopefully others this Christmas had a better experience than me. read more

I ordered the Cherry pie and it was super good. The service was great and they have a lot of great flavors!!

Today was the first time I had stellar customer service Dessert Pies are always great and i tried a couple of their savory pot pies today (bake at home) and they were delicious. Favorite Pies so far are the Caramel Apple, Blueberry and Banana Coconut Cream. Their crust is flaky and usually baked properly, but it does not have a lot of flavor. My favorite pie place for fillings and crust is PieSnob, to help give you a comparison of my tastes, (not a dig in PieFection). read more

These are by far the best pies in the valley! The presentation is beautiful, the perfect holiday gift.

These pies were pure perfection! Hubby & I stumbled upon this little bakery while visiting Scottsdale, Arizona that offers a plethora of delicious, mouthwatering pies that will please any discriminating taste! We came at a time when they were almost out of everything but we were still able to snab the following mini pies: 2 Apple 1 Peach 1 Pecan 1 Coconut Cream I have to say that all of them were delicious! read more

I have gotten a couple of different pies before and been very happy. However, last night I decided to try a single size pot pie and got the green chili hich comes frozen and you have to bake it yourself. I had no company and decided to get a single slice of pie from their refrigerator case. I chose a prepackaged slice of Lemon blueberry, not paying a lot of attention to the condition of the pie. I came home and followed the directions of the lady from the store and the directions that were on the frozen pie (both the same). I preheated my oven to 400° and then baked the pie for one hour. The top of the pie look brown And I took it out to eat it and transferred it to a bowl. The pie itself was terrible. The contents were soup (Like water) with some hard cubes of pork that were very tough. The entire bottom dough of the pie was not baked... It was a GOOEY doughy mess. I thought I would at least eat the pie. The first bite I took tasted like the fruit part had mold in it. When I took it out of the packaging the top of the pie was cracked and a corner was broken off the piece. I took some photos of both and put them down the disposal. Gosh knows how long that pie was in the refrigerator case and I don't know how old the pot pie was but they were both terrible and I won't ever go back there again. That was $15 down the drain. I have attached some photos so you can see what I'm talking about. Sorry, but the pictures of the pot pie won't upload read more

My mom and I stopped by here to check out the pies and we had fun choosing what we wanted to take home. I chose a slice of lemon meringue pie. It was fantastic! The meringue was well toasted. The lemon was just the right amount of tangy and sweet. The crust was flaky and held up well under the filling. I'll be back for other flavors! read more

We often get our pie slices from an amazing place in Arcadia and since I was working in N Scottsdale yesterday, I decided to try a new place to surprise my other half with pies. I got 6 slices and they offered $3 off. I was thankful. My total after tax was about $27. I got: 1. 1 caramel apple slice -sadly was just mushy sugar goo inside a weak pie crust (1 star) 2. 2 triple berry slices - also disappointing as it was just sugary goo with tiny berry seeds and a weak crust. I was hoping for more berry burst and less seedy goo. (1 star) 3. 1 apple slice- I ate this one out of the fridge which made it less gooey, but it was nothing to write home about (2 star) 4. 2 key lime slices- its not granny's key lime, but out of all the pie slices, it was the best. Tart. Pleasant texture. I prefer a graham cracker crust, but the traditional crust was fine. It let the filling shine through. (4 star) I won't be returning, But, I hope this feedback is received with an intent to Improve. read more

Best cherry crumb pie ever. We tasted one at a Scottsdale farmers market and have been looking for the company ever since. We searched the web during another visit and voila, there they were. Same pie, same crack effect (being obsessed with eating the whole thing). It's very expensive around $30, but addictive things usually are not cheap. Folks in the store (pie pickup location) provide great service and it's clear from the ambiance of the place that they are very proud they only do pies. read more

love love love their pies here! they have sweet and savory! the only place I will buy my pies!

This place is awesome! Both savory and sweet pies are available. The chocolate cream is our family's favorite.

When a pie has the same type of dough as the other options is not a good sign, chicken pot pie is a soup I'm sure their recipes are copied from a Can of Campbells because this si not authentic pie. It's such a shame Arizona has no art. read more
