    6 Pack Assorted
    Jessica A.

Ordered a six pack of assorted cakes today for my husband's birthday. Cute packaging, cute little designs...and they were pretty good! The packaging notes they're frozen for freshness and to let them thaw about 30 mins before serving - you're definitely going to want to do that. My impatient six year old did not, ha! I thought they were good - great little gift idea. The strawberry was my favorite in the pack we got - my least favorite was probably the chocolate chocolate - it's exactly as you'd expect - chocolate-y :)

We bought a 6 pack of little cakes last week. The lemon was mine. The lemon glaze was good but I would prefer a real lemony thicker frosting as the cake was so dense and a little dry. It needed more frosting to go with all that cake. Jt daughter didn't comment or rave about any of the other cakes so I can assume she wasn't thrilled. Interesting concept but I think anber and I prefer actual cupcakes.

Butta Cakes are so yummy. They have yummy gluten l-free options. You never know what is going to be available. This visit they offered their original, cake batter with sprinkles, and red velvet. Just enough to satisfy and yet no regrets or guilt. Service is always great. If we are in the area we always have to stop.

We love this cake shop! The mini butta cakes taste delicious and they have such a variety of flavors we are constantly trying new ones each time. It's a great treat to enjoy yourself or bring for a special occasion. You must stop by if you haven't been! Some of my favorite flavors are Chocolate Chocolate, S'mores, Cookie Dough, Fudgsicle, Cinnamon and Key Lime.

The Red Velvet cake was okay... a bit too sweet for my liking but it was gorgeous and the staff were really nice in helping me figure out which one I wanted! The place is really clean with lots of cake options. Not bad but I don't think I'll be back-- not for me.

Inside the store is very nice and clean. The display case let you see everything all at once which can be overwhelming but really let's you decide which ones to try. I got a box of 12 different flavors and the lady helping me was great. She was very friendly explained everything when I asked about different flavors and gave good recs. The only thing I can call out is to eat them at room temp, when eaten cold they just don't taste as flavorful. The parkinglot was a lot to deal with for middle of a work day so be prepared for that but it was worth it. We've really enjoyed all of the flavors and I'm definitely marking it for a return visit.

    Dessert- cute box

I got them as a gift The cutest cakes ever . I absolutely loved every single one of them . I loved the box and it made my day.

4 pack of gluten free peanut butter, lemon, vanilla and red velvet. Crazy moist and rich.

This is the place for a decadent bite of cake. There is a huge selection of flavors, perhaps 30? And 6 or so that are gluten free. I decided on a 4 pack since this was my first time to try this bakery. The vanilla was good, dense and rich, red velvet also rich and moist. The lemon and peanut butter were my favorites, especially the peanut butter - like a dense, moist, peanut butter cup in a 2-3 bite cake form. The packaging is also beautiful if you need a gift.

Tasty, decadent, novel and pretty are best ways to describe Butta Cakes. Small rich cakes, with variety of flavors will blow away any cupcake any day of the week. I just cannot believe how good Butta Cakes are. To be frank I ended up in this store by accident. Turned into a shopping mall as a means of making a u turn and noticed Butta Cakes and decided to give it a try. Glad I did and I think I will be customer for life!

    So many delicious options!

I had the pleasure of experiencing this quaint little bakery during an Uber eats pickup. The staff Cameron was so nice and informative about the brand that I had to come back to get a treat for myself. I opted for the red velvet and oh my goodness what a treat to my taste buds!! The cake was so fresh, fluffy, and moist! They have so many tasty options to choose from, you can't go wrong with anything in there. The price point is more than fair and the quality is supreme. I recommend this spot for your sweet tooth needs!

I love when I'm making a special meal, but don't want to make a dessert. Butta Cakes saves the day! They have a massive variety of small bite cakes, or you can purchase large cakes, that are frosted and decorated, or get a plain Butta cake. I always choose the plain, warm it in the oven, as instructed, make a Carmel sauce and serve with ice cream! It's always a hit!!! So dang good! The gooey buttery cake, that's out of this world delicious!!

We stood around and witnessed all the beautiful people roll in from all walks of life. Food is really that thing that will pull it all together. Pair that with some good tunes and a friendly staff, you're bound to spend the entire day there lol. Let's get to the food- Wings for the table- OK! Crispy, not saucy, just light and airy. It tasted slightly sweet with something else I can't place my finger on. French Toast with the grand mariner sauce- yes please and thank you! I did not taste the sauce, but the French toast tasted good. I had some egg whites and the chicken tenders with it. Not a fan of chicken tenders, but there's no substituting, so tenders it is. Mocktail with lemonade and ginger- I don't remember the name but that was quite refreshing. I would've opted for more ginger b/c I like it spicy , and it got the job done. My other homies had shrimp and grits, salmon croquettes. They enjoyed it. Shout out to our waiter Chance . Quite pleasant and had a great aura. He recommended some spots for us to see/explore and didn't rush us. I'd definitely return should I visit AZ again!

Dirty Pistachio Chai, Hot Chicken Biscuit, Tiramisu Donut, and Ferrero Rocher Cannoli, and Dee's club were all great, but the Bacon Jam Sandwhich on a Panini and Pistachio Macarons shaped as cacti were the stars for my boyfriend and I. I can't speak on the customer service as we never left our table and our waited just walked over and got what we needed. We were pretty stuffed from our massive meal, but we decided on sharing a cup of gelato just to satisfy our sweet tooth. I peeked inside as our table was right at a little walkway from the restaurant to the bakery. Gelato is just one of many things they serve here. They also have all your typical Italian desserts. Cakes like tiramisu, pastries like Italian flag cookies, cookies like Italian wedding cookies, cannolis of different varieties, and of course gelato. What was suggested to us if we wanted gelato was the hazelnut flavor. I was expecting a little cup for the 6 of us just to get a taste, but what he brought over was a massive serving. I don't know how many scoops it was or even how much we even paid, but we all got plenty with some even left behind. Now this gelato was life changing. Probably the best I've had in the states. I know it's gotta be way better in Italy, but I'll take what I can when I can. Think of a Ferrero Rocher but in gelato form. It was delicious and I couldn't get enough of it. It wasn't overly sweet and it had a little crunch with bits of chocolate and hazelnuts. My sweet tooth was extremely satisfied after having dessert here. I have literally been thinking about that gelato since I left Phoenix. Luckily this company has locations in Texas so I will definitely be seeking out this gelato soon.

As a born and raised New Yorker, I take food very seriously... and Italian pastries even more so…read more Just before Christmas, I was traveling from New Yawk (visiting my parents) back to Phoenix to attend a family dinner at my partner's parent's home in Scottsdale. While I was still in NYC with my family on XMas eve eve, it hit me... I need to bring something besides wine everytime I go to their home. Nor a Southern dish. I wanted something unapologetically New Yaek. And what's more New Yawk than a box of classic Italian cookies? After asking a few Yelp friends where to find the best Italian cookies in Phoenix, The Sicilian Baker kept coming up. I called them last minute on Christmas Eve eve, having never been there before, totally sight unseen. First of all, their voicemail is hilarious. Truly. If you do nothing else, call just to hear it. It will instantly make you want to order something. Once I reached a real person, I explained my situation, that I wouldn't be able to come in beforehand, I needed a beautiful cookie tray for about 14-16 people, and I had a few must have preferences. Without hesitation, they said, "We got you." I was assured it would be ready when I landed on Xmas eve. Sure enough, after my partner picked me up from the airport, we headed straight to The Sicilian Baker. Parking right out front, a huge plus. As soon as you pull in, you're greeted with Frank Sinatra playing, not just inside, but even in the parking lot. It sets the tone immediately. We walked in, gave my name, and within minutes a lovely young person brought out my tray. Ten minutes later, we were on our way. Easy. Efficient. Warm service that made me actually grab a small box of cookies to drop my besties home on the way outta there. I didn't even realize at first that there's a sit down restaurant next door where you can relax and enjoy something. Great to know for next time ;) . Now, let's talk about the cookies. Yes, they are on the pricier side, but every single dollar was worth it. The tray was robust. Classic Italian pastries across the board like lobster tails, tri-colored almond cakes, cannolis, and all the favorites you hope for when you're trying to impress a room full of potential inlaws. And impress it did. The moment I walked in with that tray, it was a hit. People were already claiming which pastries they wanted, plotting what they'd take home, and hovering before dinner was even finished. There was more than enough for 16 people, grand is the only word for it, which is my style 1,000%. To this day, they're still talking about those cookies which makes me phenomenally proud (and humbled). I say this in all my reviews, "I hate almost everything. I'm discerning. I'm critical. And when something truly represents what I stand for - quality, authenticity, and heart, I will shout it from the rooftops". The Sicilian Baker delivered New York level excellence in Phoenix! Do not walk, runswiftly to this place if you need a gift, a show stopping dessert, or simply want to treat yourself. I cannot wait to go back. Highly, highly recommended.
