Another pic of sisters customized pizza
    Mandy T.

Literally amazing. Maybe I think so because I'm not much of a picky eater, but this place definitely deserves more stars than they have! My mom and sisters had a hard time as there are so many places to eat in the area, but I'm glad we chose this spot. The employees were kind and with a smile throughout our whole order process. I ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza while my mom and sisters customized theirs.

We had a quick layover and needed something to eat before our 5hr flight to Hawaii. The staff was friendly and I thought the pizza tasted better then expected. It was actually pretty good. Ya a little pricey at $19.57 but that is airport price. It kept me full for the entire flight. I would order it again the next time I'm at the airport.

Hey--why is vegan cheese +$2, impossible meatballs +$2, & if I don't get meat at all, it costs the same? I can't even get more veg. :( You're up charging vegans $4 for helping save the planet & animals--and folks with allergies. It's weird. Maybe share the costs across all your customers? The pizza was good but $4 more expensive--I didn't get the meatballs on principle.

For Gluten Free airport pizza it wasn't half bad to be honest. Cost me about $20 but that's expected for airport prices. The lady who prepared it was very nice and asked if she needed to change her gloves and didn't hesitate to pile on the cheese which most places do. The woman at the register was not so kind and was irritated and treating people like cattle. She called out to a family that theirs was ready and they didn't hear her so she started slapping the top of the pizza boxes to get their attention and became agitated easily. I get you deal with a lot of people throughout the day and especially travelers who probably don't understand English but after I got my pizza I was scared to ask for a water lolololol

Nice and crispy, just as requested.

I almost didn't go here to grab a layover meal after reading all the Yelp reviews, but thanks to everyone putting in their two cents, I was able to make an informed decision about what/how to order! I started by asking for the traditional crust and marinara sauce for my pizza. After that, I added fresh veggies like spinach, olives, and onions to the mozzarella. Since many previous reviewers noted that their pizzas seemed underdone, I asked if I could have it a bit more crispy and they said it wasn't a problem. After a few minutes, the pizza was done. However, in the meantime I noted that they also had kalamata olives, so I asked if they could put a handful on top of the pizza to finish it off. They added the olives as requested, which I really appreciated. The pizza crust was nice and crispy, so I could pick up the slices without everything falling off. Yes, the pizza is a bit expensive, but for make-it-your-way airport pizza, I was pleased with the experience. The pizza was made exactly how I wanted it and it tasted great.

Build your own (Thin crust, spicy marinara, sausage and veggies)

The pizza doesn't cook long enough. It's not very hot when it comes out of the oven and it's definitely not crispy. If it cooked longer it would be much better. The toppings are pretty fresh. I wish they had sauces for this pizza like garlic sauce, etc. Not impressed, but if you're craving pizza it'll do the job. I'll go somewhere else next time.

As good as airport food gets. Really friendly staff and several mix and match options. Tired their veggie options on a thin crisp crust and the thing turned out quite good. Tip: tomatoes are notorious for not cooking too well in these "drive-by" type ovens - so recommend you skip them form the toppings.

Solid pie. A bit pricy but it's SF

The first thing I noticed was that there was really not many pieces of ribs, maybe they made the ribs portion smaller to make room for the lap cheung I ordered? The dish description also says that it includes taro, but I didn't have a single piece of taro in my pot. Strangely, although this place seems to share a kitchen with Social Eatery, the rice was cooked much more poorly here, which is obviously a shame for a place specializing in clay pot rice. It seems like the rice had too much water added, so it was a bit overcooked - you couldn't feel the "single grain" mouthfeel texture you should expect from well-cooked, high quality rice. Since the rice was too mushy, it obviously didn't crisp well either. Though it had some small amount of bits stuck to the edges of the metal (not clay!) pot, it was definitely not the super crispy, well browned "faan ziu" I expect, and not at all like the pictures featured in some earlier reviews of this restaurant.

Located in SFO, in the domestic flights area, you can find Sankaku…read more It's a Japanese style restaurant that offers sushi and also some teriyaki style and other types of rice/noodle bowls with proteins to select from. The sushi selections seem mostly to be from the to-go section at the front part of the line, while the cooked stuff you need to order at the counter. Price wise, it's actually not terrible considering how expensive everything generally is here at SFO, so I would say middle of the road from that aspect. The menu is not huge, but there's certainly enough options for those who just want a sushi, and nothing too extravagant. Service was okay, not good, not bad. Lady definitely wanted to rush me out as soon as possible. Got myself one of the basic sushi plates that had a california roll along with a couple of pieces of nigiri. I mean, it's airport sushi, and it's not Japan, so all-in-all it was decent considering the place, and also the cost of everything else. I mean, Burger King is right next door, and their meals were more expensive than this, so there's that. California roll wasn't bad, "crab" was decent. Flavored well, and rice was actually not gross from being in the cold section ready for takeout. The nigiri was actually not bad too, as the tuna actually seemed like better quality tuna (almost like a chutoro, but I doubt it was), but the salmon was just regular but not fishy at least. There are certainly much worse options here, both cost wise and food quality wise. Don't come here expecting service though, as they are definitely a order and go type of place as it felt when I was there, and there wasn't even anybody in line after me.

The sauce tasted more like a simple combination of soy sauce and sugar, and the vegetables seemed similar to a frozen vegetable mix. Overall, the meal felt like something that could be easily prepared at home rather than a restaurant-quality dish. That said, it was a reasonably healthy option for an airport meal, especially if you're looking for something different from burgers or sandwiches. There was a dining area near the store that was shared with the other restaurants. I think I would have rated the meal higher if the price had been a little more affordable for the quality. The service could also use some improvement. During my visit, the cashier did not greet me or interact with me while I was ordering. She mostly looked at me without saying much, which made the experience feel a bit uncomfortable. I understand that everyone has difficult days, but a simple greeting or smile would have made the interaction feel much more welcoming. The restaurant may have other menu items that are more enjoyable, but personally, I probably wouldn't order the teriyaki chicken again.

Anyways we got seated quickly, and I began with a nice cold beer and we started looking at the menu. We instantly had to get the baked pork chop w. Spaghetti as that was pretty much our childhood choice, going to HK style places. We grabbed some fried fish skin in salted egg yolk and fried chicken in salted egg yolk as we haven't had that before. Both were good. I definitely never had that chicken in salted egg yolk before but it seemed to work well. We got a half order of the Hainanese chicken, and that was delicious with the sauces provided. You can never go wrong with dim sum, so we got the sui mai, har gow, steamed pork ribs, and chicken feet. All were comparable to what you would get at a dim sum restaurant in the morning, but instead we had it at 8pm! Overall, the ambiance of the place is nice and quiet, with a few families eating out, and some college students enjoying a meal. The waiters would frequently stop by and refill our water cups whenever they were near empty, I probably would have got rice but my friends wanted spaghetti with the baked porkchop, overall a great place for a meal with dim sum too!

With a recent boom in HK street food especially cha chaan teng (tea and meal eateries), I suggested meeting several friends for an early dinner here. This place has been here a while, before the ongoing trend emerged. I arranged a meetup with a peninsula friend to meet there for an early midweek dinner before 6 pm. They have a private parking lot so that was not an issue. Walking in, we noticed the order station and menu on the left (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=VXnwmT7l57Wujd4yMeyvlQ) and a cooking area to the right (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=h5fu-B6JPAxM-VFU_pDTYw). As we studied the menu, the discussion among us three was that we wanted to eat multiple menu items. After a few minutes, we ordered our meals one by one, adding two appetizers to share. After my friend first paid for our meal, he chose a table in the middle dining area. I noticed a water station near the cashier and brought three plastic cups for my friends and me. With this being a somewhat cafeteria style format, a gal brought our food a short time later. Here's what I tried: Appetizers, shared 1. Popcorn chicken (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=W18wgtSMHw0g-EqytrQpDA) - Very solid version as this came temperature hot. It was spot on crispy and the white pepper seasoning very true to the recipe. Nice that they provided skewer sticks and we ate barely half if this with the generous portion. 2. XO sauce mini rice noodles (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=uLIWGlflOZKINVlxMoS7PA) - For a mini, I was surprised with the food amount. Unlike dim sum house versions, the ingredients are not stir-fried and merely mixed with the sauce mostly on top with a soy sauce oil mix lining the bottom. It was tasty and a good-sized serving. Main 3. Beef stew wonton noodle soup (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=F8_RGDn1cEfD1emWUdaWvA) - I forget whether there were four or five relatively large wonton dumplings with the thinner chewy egg noodles here. The beef stew pieces were tender and seasoned well making for a tasty bowl. The bowl size that I thought was smaller actually held a good amount of food where I just had enough stomach space to finish it. There were plenty of white turnip pieces (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=-HvCGJqyvrNOKF7cgacOog). This is a hearty meal. When we arrived, there were only two tables of diners (couples) as we found our table. By the time we left, there were families and couples there and the dining room was about half full. There was a steady flow of takeout orders being picked up too. A family of three sat at a mah jong table (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=xGkgRuG-bFIBlDaHkUyszA) but merely to play with the tiles. With the recent gained popularity in mah jong events and the like, the theme here was ahead of its time. I will probably return with friends to try other menu items and perhaps save room for a drink or dessert too.
