I had a delicious dinner here! The lady at the counter was very nice and helpful when I asked whether I should get a lahmacun or pide, and in describing the differences between the 2 lamb pides. I ended up getting the non-mince lamb pide, with a side of the pepper relish sauce (ajilik? can't remember what it was called). I saw a man in the back stretch out the dough to make the pide, and slide it into the oven. Then it was brought out fresh from the oven on a wooden cutting board w/a pickled pepper on the side. The pepper relish sauce was garlicky and amazing with the pide. The pide had just the right amount of toppings and flavor. The crust was thin and crisp without being too bready or doughy. The pide looked huge but I inhaled it. Perfectly spiced, right amount of sauce without being soggy, crust was crisp to the last bite, everything about it was delicious and quite affordable. I would definitely come back the next time I'm visiting London. read more
