After months of looking at white spackling on the wall, I finally walked over to Dellert's to see if they had any recommendations to get us by until we have the time to paint the entire stairwell and mount a new handrail. They sent Kim to come have a look and take a gamble at matching the paint color without having any idea what brand, color, quality, sheen, etc. the contractors used. She did a PERFECT job at matching the color! You can't even tell where I did the touch ups!

BUYER BEWARE!!! My…read moreintention in sharing this information is in hopes that nobody else gets their hard-earned money stolen like I did. About a year ago I hired Travis Rhodes at Memory Painting, LLC through a friend referral. I place no blame on the friend that gave me the referral. It was my choice to choose Memory Painting, LLC however in hindsight, I'd highly recommend getting 2 or 3 separate quotes when looking to hire someone to do a job, repair, etc. I paid a deposit fee to Memory Painting, LLC in the amount of $1500.50 on October 10, 2022. The painting job kept getting delayed, delayed, delayed. Fast forward to March 18, 2023, I received a message from Travis stating that he was "way too booked here in Springfield, so I'm going to have to back out of the job. I will have the $1500 back in your mailbox by the 17th of April, writing the statement now." I've never received that to date. Since I never received my money back, I filed a case in small claims court. I have gone through all of the legal hoops in order to get Travis Rhodes, Memory Painting, LLC, served a summons to appear in small claims court, however he and his wife, Renae, refused to answer their door on multiple occasions. The Sangamon County Sheriff's Office and a private process server have made numerous attempts this year to serve a summons to Travis to appear in court. The Sangamon County Sherriff noted dogs barking and kids in the house with no answer at the door on one of the many attempts to deliver the summons. The private process server stated that on one of his attempts to the home, Travis' wife, Renae, opened the curtains and shook her head no. Now that I have exhausted all legal means, I am sharing publicly in order to save anyone else the headache and financial loss this has cost me. The good news in all this is that I did end up hiring a reputable painter and my house looks amazing (I will gladly give out that person's name and contact info if needed!!!
