I think this place is worth checking out. They have interesting specials. I recently got the Goblah' Thanksgiving sandwich special. It was absolutely delicious but the price was kind of astounding. It was $14 +. I had buyers remorse when she told me the total, but thankfully when I got home it was so delicious I felt it was worthwhile. Of course there are cheaper options on the menu. I've also had their salads which are good. The service was good this time, but in previous visits there was a young girl at the counter and she could be kind of curt. read more

One of our favorite places to grab a sandwich. However the past FIVE times we have tried to go, they have been closed during their posted business hours. Just tried to go at noon on a Saturday - mind you they're supposed to close at 2, and they were closed!! I'm not sure if it's an understaffing issue, but if that is the case the hours need to be updated. Their weekend hours just don't quite make sense with closing early. It's also extra difficult when personally working M-F until 5:00 and can only really get one of these sandwiches on the weekends, only to be let down by their schedule. We really want to love this place and give them our business especially with them being a small local business with outstanding food. However, constantly having to turn around at the door when we get there, is getting frustrating. read more

So... I really want to like this deli. It was not meant to be. The service was curt. The pickles are razor thin and taste like vinegar. The only thing the "loaded" potato was loaded with was disappointment. No flavor. None! My sandwich was adequate on stale white bread. I was not given an option for other bread. I went with double meat. Thanks for the double salami! This deli does not stand a chance. You would think with the name it would have at least have pickles that taste good. Pickle Pasta Salad. OMG. I can't trust myself with this stuff in the house. My husband does not like pasta salad and is obsessed with it. I'm glad they are the next town over and not right next to my house. While my first thought is usually what will I have with my pasta salad, the rest of the food here is really good too. While my husband can't get past the tuna melt I've tried a few different sandwiches and enjoyed them all. I tried that mac and cheese once and that was really good too. They've started serving breakfast and since I have a breakfast burrito obsession I had to stop in and get one. big thumbs up for the burrito. I would suggest calling your order in ahead if you can. I normally end up here on the spur of the moment and occasionally there's been a bit of a wait for the food, because they can get fairly busy with orders during certain times of the day. I'll be visiting again for the pickle pasta salad soon! read more

So, I took a drive from philly up to MA to visit some family on my day off. I got up there around lunchtime and decided to do a search for a place to get a quick bite to eat for lunch. As I was scrolling through the options in the area, this sandwich shop came along so I decided to give it a shot. I walked in and could immediately tell it was a family owned business. A woman, who I later learned was the owner, came from the kitchen to the front counter and asked how she could help me. She suggested the pickled pasta salad and said the Ruben was their top seller so I ordered both. I watched her and her staff slice the meat fresh and build my lunch fresh. That pickled pasta salad blew me away! What a surprise And the sandwich... you could taste the the freshness from the meat, the bread, and every other ingredient involved. I enjoyed this place so much that I asked the owner if I could buy some pasta and the signature pickles to bring back home. They had pickles ready to go but not the pasta... but that didn't stop her from whipping up a quick batch for me. I brought home 2 quarts of their pickles and 3 quarts on the pickled salad. Tonight I BBQed with my family and usually my burgers are the highlight, but not tonight! The pickles stole the show! I've since learned that the Pickled Deli is a family owned establishment that opened up right in the middle of the Covid pandemic. Normally, I would say that they were crazy for opening a new business during this madness. But after tasting their food and experiencing the warm, family orientated hospitality they gave to me, a complete stranger, there is no doubt in my mind that they have the guts and love for what they do to thrive through anything! Tried this place for the first time today given all the good reviews I've seen. Stopped in and ordered for my daughter my wife and I. I placed my order for a ham sandwich, a Turkey club and a Monte Cristo sandwich. The lady behind the counter told me the French a toast was still cooking so it would be a 15 minute delay, no big deal I thought, it was 12:16pm and I had some time before I had to be at work. Well, I finally walked out at 12:56. 40 minutes for French toast. I was now running home to feed my hungry family that expected lunch a half our ago. The cold sandwiches were pretty good, the bread was the normal sliced variety. However when I opened my Monte Cristo I was pretty aggravated. That sandwich I waited for 40 minutes for? BURNT. The lady cooking in the back saw this and still made the decision to serve it because she didn't want to have to cook another couple slices of French toast, guaranteed. There's no way you miss it, you see it AND you smell it. Funny, I smelled something burning in the back as I was sitting in there waiting for my food but thought nothing of it so you KNOW the moment it came out of the Panini press she knew what was going on. Mistakes happen, but when you knowingly pass this quality off to a paying customer there are issues that need to be addressed. They should have told me "hey, our bad we burned your sandwich would you like another or would you like a refund?" I would've gladly taken a refund and been on my way without feeling the need to leave a Yelp review. Believe me, I have a life and only come here to review in extreme situations. They got my money this one time for a burned sandwich, but luckily delis aren't an endangered species around here. I'll be going elsewhere from now on. read more
