There was a great selection across all genres from new releases, kids, young adult, mystery, romance, and more plus fun gifts, cards, puzzles, etc. that made browsing even better. The staff was friendly, the vibe was cozy, and prices were in line with what you would expect from a quality independent shop. My only "complaint" was that the bookstore hosted a local author signing the night before and while they had the third book in stock (signed!), they were sold out of the first in the series, which I would have bought had it been in stock. Still, this is such a charming and well curated bookstore. I would definitely return!

I am local to the area and for years have chosen to buy at Krampus to support local businesses. I…read morerecently called about a board game and was informed they could order it for me. I have had them do this in the past and gave them my info. They called me back later the same day to say that they had a 'like new' used version of the game in stock, and said I could pick it up today. I said sure and dropped in later the same dayw. The used game as 90% of the price of the new - and I found it new online for the same price - but again, I want to support local, so I went ahead and purchased it. When I got home and opened the used game was not the same as a new game. It was an older version of it, without the updated ruleset, without changes to the board and pieces. It was significantly different and less refined. We recently visited some friends and played the newer version of the game, the version that inspired us to purchase the game, the version I thought I was buying. IT was so much better than the version I was sold. I was a local, loyal customer. I could have bought the game online for the same price. I chose them, and they let me down.

The shop is conveniently located in the Obertal Mall, directly across from the Obertal Inn where we were staying, which made it an easy and fun stop. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Nicole, who was incredibly friendly and helpful while we browsed and decided what to buy. The store has an amazing variety of items, ranging from nostalgic candies from childhood to locally made popcorn, pancake mixes, hot sauces, magnets, and so much more. There's truly something for everyone. We ended up spending a good 30-45 minutes exploring because there was just so much to see. In the end, we walked out very happy with our purchases and glad we stopped in. This is definitely a must visit if you're looking for thoughtful gifts, local goodies, or a little something fun to take home.

I've had multiple less than pleasant encounters that I have tried to brush off because there isn't many alternatives in the valley. He has trying to tell me a $60 item was $80, I'm assuming in hopes that I hadn't already looked at the sticker that he put on the box saying $60? Then when I pointed out that the sticker said it was $60, he decided to go on an unprovoked rant and guilt me for buying it because the distributor is hard to work with. I don't work for Bandai, I'm sorry? I also messaged the store Facebook page on a Monday to ask if they would take a trade and he told me that they are closed on Mondays and I should respect that and not message him... Like he is somehow forced to work and couldn't have just checked it the next day? The message wasn't from James Bond, it did not expire after opening and could have been responded to any of the seven days that week. It's not the customer's fault if you don't know how to take a day off? The store is clean but the inventory is very limited and rarely changes. Can't say I recommend stopping by because you'll spend longer walking inside from your car then it takes you to peruse their two shelves. One of which is just filled to the brim with basic Funkos so if that's not your thing... 1 and 1/2 shelves. I support small businesses but not bad business owners. If you were up for a short trip to Leavenworth, I would recommend Krampus Kave which is everything the time capsule wants to be with a much better inventory and more inviting atmosphere. I got a great deal on some vintage Star Wars cards and a really good price that helped me finish a couple of my sets along with a nice mix of other cards as well and a few comics. Very friendly owners. This place is just over a year old and hopefully will be around awhile as I will definitely return
