Beautiful lake next to store.
Ruthie V.

We stopped here on our way to Leavenworth. The nice lady that helped us said that they make their own fudge so we bought some and I bought a bag of lightly coated popcorn. We haven't eaten the fudge yet but I nibbled on the popcorn and it is insanely DELICIOUS! Giant size pieces of popcorn that got me wondering where the popcorn kernels came from because I've been looking for some big kernels. The store is so organized and there's even a wall of hot sauces to choose from. There's also an added bonus if you stop here - a beautiful lake that reflects the trees on the water.

Sugar attack

Village Alps has the biggest selection of taffy I've ever seen anywhere along with very random souvenirs of WA state, Leavenworth, and then totally off the beaten path bizarro things like socks proclaiming "MEAT." Did not buy one thing in here but it was a hoot to look at some of the weirdo stuff they sell. I think I got diabetes for 10 minutes just from the amount of sugar in the air. Didn't see one employee in the place the entire time.

a display of candy in a grocery store

I'll give it a 3.5 stars! We did leave with a huge bag of Taffy - it's probably the most taffy I've seen in one place at one time! However after eating them for a few days, most are good but there's definitely some that taste older than others. The store is also so cramped, there's no room to squeeze by anyone or even stand in a line for the cashier. It's definitely not great considering the current Covid conditions, but it is a cool spot to come to get your candy fix. They also sell other small things, but most of it I find to be unnecessary and a bit random. The person at the front counter though was SO friendly and great!

Toxic Waste candy - my kid had been looking for this for a year.

I always visit here when in town. One of my favorites to buy taffy and different souvenirs.

Oh my Christmas!!!! I have always wanted to visit Leavenworth during the winter....to see all the…read moresnow, the Christmas decorations, to just be enveloped in Christmas all together! Well, if you visit at other times of the year, you need to be sure to stop in to this incredible store to feel just that. As soon as you walk in here, you will just be amazed. It is seriously nothing like you've ever seen. This store is 100% Christmas. They have everything you need to make your Christmas dreams come true. Every single decoration, ornament, every building to complete your little Christmas town, they got it. The staff here is also very very sweet and so helpful! No matter what time of the year you're in Leavenworth, be sure to stop by this store to get your Christmas on!!!

There's truly something for everyone, but the ornaments are the real highlight. They have such a huge variety, and it was so fun looking through them all. The prices were good, the customer service was wonderful, and the whole atmosphere made us feel like it was Christmas in the middle of the year. I picked up a couple of ornaments that I can't wait to use on my tree this holiday season. If you love Christmas and the holidays, this is a must-stop shop in downtown Leavenworth!

She bought a red and black one for $100 that came with the apron and white blouse with the adjustable bust. My friend was THRILLED. This store sells genuine cookoo clocks, German Erzgebirge Pyramids, nutcrackers, and all kinds of tchotchkes. Some trinkets dripping with sarcasm, others simply unique, I spent a lot of time roaming around in this Christmas store.

As the name suggests, it's a Christmas themed store that truly does justice to Christmas. It may actually be adequately name the nutcracker store as the selection of nutcrackers here is unlike anything I've ever seen. Do you need a nutcracker it looks like the mouse from the ballet? Got it! Do you need a center nutcracker? We've got that too. Do you need R2-D2 his nutcracker form? Not a problem. They've literally got an entire wall of the store dedicated to any and all things that will crack nuts for you. If got plenty of other Christmas related goodies as well including expensive ornaments and other Yuletide pleasantries. To that end, it's an OK place to bring your kids in, but you have to keep an eye on them as just about everything here is very breakable and often outside of a container. I can imagine the you break it you buy it rule comes into play a lot here, but it certainly shouldn't dissuade you from coming and checking it out. Since this is probably the place that Santa comes to shop, you probably should too.
