HO HO HO Merry Frankmas , wait it's August.. Well, Kris Kringl celebrates Christmas 365 days a year…read moreand it shows. I gotta little misty eyed when coming through the front doors. Reminds me of the childhood days my entire household as a youth brightened up every December. Upon entering you are consumed by bright lights and sparkly ornaments.... As you venture from room to room you'll discover very common stuff to very religious stuff... My favorite being the lamps with blowing snow inside them. I could stare for hours at a miniature snowstorm consuming the city... Now upstairs is more including hundred of individual ornaments. Some themed and some not but defiantly something for everyone.. Pricing is kinda high but if you're in Leavenworth the. your on vacation so it's time to splurge... Defiantly if you're shopping on Front Street you'll wanna put this on your must see stores... Have fun if your celebrating Christmas and for those who don't well don't spoil it by being a GRINCH. And yes they have Grinch stuff for the a-holes who don't get the Christmas spirt!

The back room with all the miniature displays/villages is so captivating. These individual pieces are rich in their pricing.... so I'm content with just looking. I always take photos, no matter how many times I stop here. In the past I've purchased a few faux floral bouquets, and ornaments (of course). I like the items from designer Mark Roberts; during my recent visit, I didn't see many faux floral bouquet options as there used to be.

If I could give this store a below-zero rating, I would…read more I came in with my three children (ages 2, 5, and 9) to pick out some toys and a pair of earrings for myself. From the moment we walked in, I felt like we were being watched the entire time. As a single mom shopping alone with young children, it was incredibly uncomfortable. For context, my children were behaving appropriately. They were not running around the store or touching merchandise. My 5-year-old simply had a pen in his hand while we were shopping. The final straw was when I asked a sales associate if there was an issue with us. She got down to my 5-year-old's level and pretended to punch him. Why would you pretend a punch my five-year-olds to wind him up when you're obviously watching me because you're judging. She appeared to be in a management position, which made the interaction even more upsetting. We still made it to the checkout line, and she continued watching us. At no point did she apologize or acknowledge how uncomfortable the situation had become. I left the earrings and didn't want to purchase. It's frustrating that a children's store could make a parent feel so unwelcome it was actually my two year old that depends. Shopping with kids isn't always easy, but families deserve kindness and understanding--not judgment. I left feeling embarrassed, disappointed, and certain that I will not be returning.

There was no dedicated cashier inside the toy section, and no clear way to check out. Parking nearby is also a challenge. As a bonus stop while in line, it worked, but on its own, it wouldn't have been worth the detour. JY review
