Here are some examples: Changed a faucet that dripped for YEARS that I was told was not fixable. Not only was it not dripping but he closed up the rusty old hole and made the tile look like the hole was never there. Had the uuuugliest fluorescent light in the living room, like "Joe vs the volcano" level, he replaced it, made it look like it was just all a bad dream. He replaced and fixed the kitchen door so it was even with the floor, when the door would open it would get stuck because the floor was not even, so he did some mathematical engineering and got it to work. He stabilized the dried out wooden pergola over the patio with wood and new metal supports so it didn't have to be torn down, saved a lot of money. He was able to design and construct from scratch a gorgeous washer and dryer enclosure that replaced a UGLY UGLY termite eaten shed that disintegrated when you barely touched it, rusted nails coming out, doors falling off the hinges. Throughout the process, he was very communicative, asking questions that involved functional design, placement, aesthetics. Even matched the hardware to the fences, which really was supercool. He also replaced a variety of ceiling fans, ceiling lights, bathroom faucet, drain, lights, kitchen drains, electrical plugs, fix a fence, and problem solve regarding how to hide wires, electrical cords. Long story short, I would highly recommend Brandon for house repairs, fixes, and design problem solving. His work is very thorough, detail and quality oriented, and he is very professional and is really an expert at what he does.

So heres the full review: After interviewing four other highly rated local contractors, JV stood out on competitive price, accuracy in anticipating job needs, flexibility in scheduling, and responsiveness. So we hired JV Handyworks for a remote repair on a condo that had a fair amount of water damage, deferred maintenance and two live in occupants. The project seemed simple, remodel floor, paint, add a some fixtures. But that, as it always does, changed. After 30 years working with other contractors, I have seen how things can get gummed up. So when it came time to do the work, I expected some entanglement, some issue. But there wasn't. Everything went smoothly, even when we ran into scope changes from mold, water damage, needing extra materials, etc. If there were any snags, JV would anticipate and correct them. Rather than pushing for a replacement, he recommended a repair and ordered the necessary part to keep it running. We received a text shortly afterward letting us know they could return on Monday to complete the installation. They arrived exactly when they said they would, installed the part, and got everything working properly. The entire process was quick, responsive, professional, and seamless. Fast forward to June 2026, and Mike was absolutely right. Our unit is now making the sounds he told us to expect when it reached the end of its useful life. His assessment from nearly a year ago proved to be spot on. Because of the honesty and integrity Schneider demonstrated then, the first company we're calling now is Schneider Heating and Air. Trustworthy people and companies are hard to find, but Schneider has earned our confidence and loyalty.
