Best pizza in Sevierville! Love both the hand tossed and thin crust with All the Way toppings!

pretty good, friendly. Their pizzas are round and basically flat (if you need superfluous words for the word counters.)

I wish I could give this five extra stars…read more The food was hands-down amazing. Those biscuits or something to write home about, and the fried chicken was perfection! The staff are the friendliest I've ever seen. Everyone literally looks delighted to be at their job jobs.

Sometimes the most frustrating restaurant experiences aren't the terrible ones…read more They're the ones that are so close to being really good. That's how I felt about Mama's Chicken Kitchen. I came in with high expectations. The restaurant has strong reviews, it's part of the Johnson Family of restaurants, and I've enjoyed several of their other establishments over the years. So I walked in expecting a meal that would have me planning a return visit before I even paid the check. What I got instead was one of the strangest cases of missing seasoning I've encountered in quite some time. Let's start with the positives. The people here are genuinely nice. Friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and seemed to care about providing a good experience. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and inviting. And the kitchen clearly knows how to cook food. The fried chicken was cooked beautifully. Crispy on the outside. Juicy on the inside. Exactly the texture you're hoping for when you order Southern fried chicken. The problem? The seasoning apparently called in sick. This chicken had all the flavor intensity of a weather report. No noticeable salt. No spice. No personality. It tasted like the chef had just completed community service at a nursing home and was legally prohibited from possessing a salt shaker. My piece of chicken was juicy and cooked properly. Unfortunately, my wife's chicken breast was noticeably dry, which didn't help matters. Then came the fried pickles. No seasoning. Chicken and dumplings. No seasoning. Coleslaw. Tasteless. At one point I started wondering if there had been some sort of building-wide seasoning shortage that nobody had told us about. The frustrating part is that none of the food was poorly cooked. Quite the opposite. The techniques were there. The textures were there. The execution was there. It just felt like someone got everything ready and forgot the final, critical step of making the food taste like something. This is a restaurant with good people, a pleasant atmosphere, and a kitchen that clearly knows how to cook. Now they just need to introduce their food to salt, pepper, and a few of their seasoning friends. Three stars. Because the potential is absolutely there. The flavor just never showed up for work.

Part of the dining area. There is many more tables not in view and there is a screened-in seating area as well.

We had a good experience…read more Atmosphere is cool: dark, brick, just the right splash of decorations and lights to be classy without being kitsch. Food was good. I would not recommend the milkshake from the kids' menu; it wasn't made with ice cream, but rather with cream and chipped ice. Didn't taste terribly good or rich. Everything else was great. Service was good. We were in a large party, so several of our items came out wrong, but the server, James, was very courteous, laughed it off (in a good way), and had it all fixed within five minutes. Wasn't an absolutely over-the-top experience, but it was a good one, and I would recommend it. Worth stopping by.

I provided all my information to the host James and confirmed my time of arrival and when to be expected as we had a party of 9 and their website would not allow us to reserve or wait with any party above 8. Upon arrival 10 minutes early. We were fed some bogus misleading explanation on the difference between a reservation and wait list by the host aka Manager In Training James or Jimmy, while taking our information again. The incompetence and service of the James was horrible. Change jobs you are horrible as a host finding out hes the manager in training makes it worse. He had the kitchen manager Drew come out to speak with me and he was very understanding. James or Jimmy you are a bad manager in training. Kitchen manager Drew even recalled us making the reservation and James could not own up to the fact he didn't do his job as he said over the phone you'd take care of us. During our wait and visit after becoming verbally irrate with me and securing an actual manager. He avoided us. James or Jimmy the purple shirt, the manager in training, has by far the worst customer service. Kitchen manager Drew, great and friendly guy. Willing to listen and we're willing to wait as long as you dont lie to me like Jimmy or James will.

My fries were barely warm, and tasted like they'd been sitting at the bottom of the pan for several hours. My chicken tenders were OK. Our waiter seemed more interested in hanging out in the kitchen where all of them seemed to be hanging out and having a good time. (We could see in the kitchen from our table.)

Are Buffalo Wild Wings Independent franchises? It's the Holidays, People shopping, sports fans watching NFL GAMES. Obviously there's a reason for concern. Other patrons are leaving. Potential customers walking out the door. Great Bottom Line (notes, not exactly) it's actually very scary if an empty dining area is on a 30 minute wait and tables are empty WT%*^, is actually going on in the kitchen. Seven hour drive and other Wyndham Resorts visitors will and should think twice about here when it's actually very convenient. This is my honest opinion while waiting along with family to be seated. In the event we stay I'll update my post. I am not feeling very optimistic at this point. Kudos to our waiter Shawn. He was as accommodating as he possibly could be with the team on the clock tonight. I dare not send anything back to the kitchen scared too. Wings & Burgers,
