Last year our returns (federal and 2 states) cost $800. When working with Jeff expect good quality -- if Jeff has a clear sense up front of what's required and the flexibility to complete it when he is able to slot it into his schedule. In our experience you can also expect to follow up in order to stay on his radar. In our experience we lacked clear due dates, what (if any) additional documentation he needs from us, how many hours he expects to work, expected fees, what kind of notification he provides if fees exceed estimates, and when fees are due. While good quality, I'd also advise you to check your returns carefully every year, comparing what was filed to prior years.

Process was quick and painless and they e-file 2 returns for $240.

Last year, KG did my Federal return incorrectly, I received a letter and a check from the IRS after I paid what KG told me I owed. This year, I reached out to KG to ask why my refund seems delayed. She refuses to tell me when she filed my return. I've asked her 3 times now and she won't answer my question. It's a very simple question and she won't answer. Clearly she sat on my return, filed it weeks after I signed it, and now refuses to admit it. I paid over $250 for her to do my taxes and she won't answer a simple question. I will find somewhere else to get my taxes done from now on.

They understood our needs as a new business and made sure we got off to a great start. In addition to completing our taxes, they set up our entire accounting system and taught us how to use Quick Books. In the beginning, all of this was like a foreign language to us, but Sue took us through the process step-by-step until we were totally comfortable. They have been there for us since the beginning and continue to be there for us with professional and thorough support. I don't know what we would do without them. Thank you Comolli & Company!
