The staff were super helpful and knowledgable, and they assisted us in the entire purchase process. The best thing is that they even allowed us to bring the violin home for a week to test and show our teacher. The best thing is that their website had youtube videos of their violin collection that are for sale. So even before we drove to Glendale, we were able to shortlist the instruments that we like to try. That saved us a lot of time. I also had a chance to meet the owner Tom. He is super nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend his store to all my friends.

While I appreciated being refunded for it, it was disappointing that it was unavailable. Additionally, another item listed as new was actually an open-floor model. I do want to thank Diane for reaching out to inform me about this and offering a discount, though I ultimately chose to decline that item. The rest of my items were processed quickly and arrived promptly. However, I was disappointed with the packaging quality. An expensive music box intended as a gift was shipped without any bubble wrap or protective securing--it was simply placed loose in the box alongside a music stand bag. Fortunately, it arrived without obvious damage, but better care should be taken when packaging fragile items.

His mantra was even if I work on it...if I can't fix your issue, you won't have to pay! This guy does it all, broken keys, screens, board work, whatever upkeep your keyboard may need, he can do it! Learning to play a new instrument is hard enough for someone who is just starting to learn,…read morefortunately, this music school has instructors they could be proud of as they really do make learning fun at the same time teaching good playing habits which is an essential lesson to learn while developing one's skill. My violin instructor Michelle I have to say is awesome! I like her attention to detail, from the way you hold your bow, finger positions, proper way to rosin and anything in between - she just keeps her lesson light, not over bearing and gives compliments and corrections when it is needed or due. I highly recommend Fun Music School, learning to play from a group in school is also fun, but having a one on one time with an instructor just reinforces good playing habit and music fundamentals. Highly recommended.

I was hesitant at first being older and thought most music instructors cater to children but was so happy to find it wasn't the case with Foothills! Meli was my instructor and she made me feel so comfortable and confident during my classes! She is such an awesome instructor and so knowledgeable! I learned how to play Imagine by John Lennon which is my favorite song as well as learn scales, reading notes and all the essentials. I learned all this in a year and along with practice, have gotten pretty good! All thanks to Meli and Foothills Music! I wouldn't have gotten very far without them, they gave me the confidence to start and keep learning. Unfortunately due to financial obligations I was no longer able to continue the classes but have gained the tools to keep going and continue to practice every day. I love piano and feel that by taking these classes, I got over frustration of being a beginner to someone who can confidently sit down and play a song for friends! I highly recommend signing up if you are interested in learning an instrument!

I love and play the piano SO much and wanted to give this place a try and see what they had in store for me. With that being said, I started to play on few of their pianos, but didn't really get to the point of purchase. They have a variety of pianos: to rent, sell, they also come to your house or wherever that you have the instrument and will tune it for you for a reasonable cost. Also have movers to help you move your piano. This visit was mainly to check out and see what they had. Since I live in an apartment, our landlord doesn't allow us to have any musical instruments in the building. What a BUMMER!! They do financing and will work out a plan with you and negotiate a price for you. If and when I ever move into a house, I will definitely keep this place in mind. They've been established since 1928. By appointment only and the sale was going on March 27-29. Hours of operation is 10AM to 6PM. Don't know much about their parking situation, because I parked outside on the street.
