A great overall student presence, good customer service, and most importantly a really good curriculum that their teachers follow that brings out the most in their teaching styles. I saw a handicapped (intellectually disabled) kid in there, that I thought would be impossible to teach (seeing that you could tell he had zero attention span, couldnt focus on things etc) and the teachers had a style adapted to even something as uncommon as that where they could get through to this kid and actually teach him to play his favorite song on the guitar. I had mad respect after seeing that, and had to give props to the Evolution crew for their teaching abilities! Keep up the good work! read more

To get to the point....our family loves EMC!!! After trying several different music schools and instructors in the past, we didn't quite find a place that was our family's speed until we tried EMC. My husband and two boys, ages 6 and 8, have been taking lessons for over a year now and look forward to going to EMC. My boys have dabbled in piano, drums, and guitar. My two sons , 9 and 11, have taken lessons at Evolution Music Conservatory for a while now and we absolutely love it. When we were first getting started, I spoke with Amy, who is always wonderful, and asked if there were teachers at the school who could teach both drums and piano since my kids gravitate toward both. They easily accommodated this and both boys ended up with an awesome teacher, Evan, whose enthusiasm and support quickly took my kids' playing to the next level. My oldest soon realized he preferred drums and ended up joining a school-formed rock band with other boys his age, and he LOVES it. Sadly, Evan is moved on to a job elsewhere, but his replacement, Devin, has also been great. My youngest figured out that while he loves playing instruments, at this point he's a little more interested in music production, so he's now taking lessons with Nick, who first helped him with GarageBand and is now teaching him FL Studios. We're so happy to have EMC in the neighborhood, a spot where our kids are allowed the flexibility to spread their wings and explore their creativity in a fun, creative way. read more

As an adult learner, I've been taking piano lessons at EMC since April 2019 - I'm having so much fun. Shout out to my fantastic teachers Tim and Donato (piano lessons) and Nick (music theory). Across the board, the teachers are friendly, fun, LOVE music, play multiple instruments - and this really makes it so fun to learn from them - or even just to chat about music. Also, thumbs up to the staff who manage the front desk and scheduling - they're always friendly and welcoming. I have played in two student recitals so far - yes, I get really nervous beforehand, but it pushes me to practice and expand my repertoire. For years, I'd been telling myself,"one of these days I want to learn piano again." Then last year, I decided to drop in to EMC - it's been a blast and I'm gonna keep going! read more

The absolute worst atmosphere for anyone to take their kids to. Everyone there is so fake and the quality of the music lessons are not even that good. Do not waste your money on these lessons there are cheaper and better places out there. Trust me. Do not waste your time!! read more

My 5 year old son (then 4) started taking classes at EMC with Nick a few months before lock down. We've been doing virtual lessons since on piano and drums. Nick keeps it fun (there have been some performances by their rock band!) and I see my kid making real progress, learning how to read music and developing his own rhythms on the drums. Nick is really patient and finds ways to connect with my son that in turn allows him to connect with the music. Highly recommend EMC, and am considering taking some adult lessons myself. read more

Some adults made sour dough bread during the pandemic, I went with learning to play drums. Devin is an amazing instructor, patient, extremely skilled, with a sense of humor. He always challenges me in lessons and gives me great suggestions for practicing at home without a drum kit...which my husband and two teenagers really appreciate. He's very thoughtful about making the experience unique to me, not a cookie cutter lesson plan. Everyone I've met at EMC is welcoming and without judgement... they are genuinely happy to have you there, and I am genuinely happy to be there. read more

Donato and his staff have always been kind and fun and enthusiastic to their clients. They really love their work, and love to see students progress. Their are opportunities to join bands, and participate in recitals. They're great about flexible scheduling, and billing. My son has really come a long way in a short time, and this music school is high recommended. It's a joy to attend. My 6 year old son has been taking music lessons (piano, drums, ukulele) here for about 18 months. My wife and I both took classical piano lessons growing up, and struggled to maintain interest at an early age. When our son requested music lessons we thought it would be a good idea to start him out playing the kind of music he enjoys listening to (rock, pop, etc). It has gone incredibly well! He looks forward to coming to lessons and his instructor, Nick, is incredibly talented. If our son hears a song he likes on the radio Nick is able to teach him how to play it. This makes our son feel like a rock star, and he actually enjoys himself while he's learning. It's a great school and a great community, can't recommend it highly enough. read more

Amazing environment and super nice staff. I'm taking guitar with Harley and voice with Dani. Both amazing teachers!!!! Harley makes learning so fun and finds ways to really help you get it! He's totally willing to video lessons and send you notes and tips during the week. Dani helps you reach notes you never thought you could and she shows you the proper way to do it, without strain. She's also super trained in multiple instruments, and has a master's degree in music. I'm so happy I picked this place. read more

Evolution Music Conservatory is an awesome place to learn to play music. Donato is so great and he's helped me with guitar and piano and it's a lot of fun to be able to just sit and play some music with these guys. This place is great. My daughter is studying voice and they went out of their way to help me schedule drum lessons for my boy at the same time. The kids always look forward to their lessons, and with the little guy in particular (age 5) the teacher is super flexible, letting his interests lead the lesson. So glad we found EMC. read more
