After a deep dive of research, I landed on the Wharfedale Lintons, and Audio Element was the only place where I could actually hear them in person. Brian was incredibly helpful and patient as my wife and I worked through some favorite tracks to make sure they were the right fit. Needless to say, we walked out with the Lintons. Once we got them home, it quickly became clear our amp wasn't up to the task. More research led us to the perfect pairing: a Rega. Jesus happened to have exactly what we needed and was kind enough to hold it while we rushed down to grab it. The result? Spine-tingling, goosebump-inducing fun listening to music again. He gave me recommendations on how to get it out, waited for me to try them, and sent me a link for the correct needle replacement. Im able to listen to the radio and my tapes now, just waiting for the needle and I can finally play my records. His ability to walk me through the set-up and minor repairs, without even touching the system, is a true testament to his knowledge and skill. Thank you!

Through the Vocal Foundation program with Stuart Wheeler, I've learned that I'm indeed NOT tone-deaf, and that with the right training and technique, I've been able to unlock a part of my voice that I've not been able to access until now. Stuart is a highly-skilled teacher, singer, and musician, with the ability to articulate complex musical terms in a way that easily clicks in my mind (and I'm not an easy person to teach!). He is a patient, compassionate instructor who provides a safe, fun space to learn and explore. I've enjoyed being able to choose the songs that we work on. My lessons have always been insightful and surprisingly empowering. In just a few months, I've gained much more control and confidence in my own voice, expanded my range, learned to be more mentally focused and present, and have sharpened my listening skills. I can now sing for pleasure without being so self-conscious. My vocal training has even helped improve my piano and guitar practice! The session rates are reasonable and the location/parking are convenient. I haven't had a chance to work directly with Jane but she has been lovely over our communications. I'm a repeat customer who recently purchased a 4 channel TRS snake for hooking up a pedalboard. I had requested custom fan-out dimensions, and when I received the snake, I saw that the request had been overlooked. I contacted Pro Audio, and they told me to send it back and they would re-work the ends. I declined, and said I would shorten one of the ends with heat shrink. Long story short: overheated end and ruined cable; Pro Audio said send it back, and we will fix it; got lost in the mail; I lost receipt with tracking number; publicly shamed by postal worker for losing receipt... I contacted Pro Audio to buy another cable, as this was clearly a perfect storm of my own making. My contact, Chris Flury declined to accept payment for a replacement, arguing that the initial mistake was theirs (Forget all the stupid stuff I did). Lo and behold, the replacement cable is on its way, at no charge! I can't say enough about the integrity of these guys. They've gone way beyond what would be reasonably expected, and I thank them sincerely. I have use Pro Audio LA for all my cables needs. My orders are small yet they are treated with the same care and concern as if I was doing an entire studio rewire. Proaudiola are always quick to let me know if there are delays due to a big order that was just in front of me with several updates as my order got close to completion. This is so important. Had a very recent issue with RF coming off a bass guitar......Jason was vey helpful and suggest a cable configuration that could do the trick. It did and got to me from the west coast to the east coast as fast as amazon prime. The quality of workmanship, choice of cables, price, phenomenal customer service and super accessible website make them the best in my experience in the continental USA. Pro Audio LA helped me tremendously with the purchase of a stereo EQ unit for mastering purposes. I bought a unit that turned out to be a lemon, best as I could tell. I had sent the unit back to the manufacturer who (of course) returned it to me telling me they couldn't replicate the problem. Back and forth, it took beyond the warranty period to resolve the problem, and Pro Audio LA took charge and helped me to swap that bad EQ unit with another brand that works much better and, well, actually works. An all time podcast recording experience. I loved recording in Pro Audio LA's podcast studio space. It's roomy, comfortable, and honestly well decorated (first-class vibes). We did two long 6 hour recording sessions and felt right at home. Jason (the owner) was incredibly kind and responsive while we were booking the sessions. Then on the day, Jason and another tech Richard were on hand at all times to support us, while at the same time giving us space to do our own thing which I deeply appreciated. I would say I am an impulsive buyer, and I wanted to spend around 15k on a certain console I wanted....but then I met Jason.H :-) He literley spent somewhere between 5-10 hours (prob even more) over the course of a few weeks going over my setup and in the end I realized the console rought wasn't the right choice for my workflow. The customer service is terrible. I would find another company to work with because they are unreliable, constantly out-of-stock, and create too many excuses. The staff and atmosphere overall is cantankerous. The worst part is wasting collectively 4-5 hours of my time trying to arrange a demo because they have this ludicrous closed door policy. read more

Adam…read moreAudio in Germany told me this is their only official US repair shop, and luckily it's about 20 minutes from me. I had a phasing issue on the right and a brightness issue on the left. Norik went above and beyond, swapping amps and back plates, testing each driver and tweeter, and eventually tracing it to a phase problem in the right tweeter and a blown left tweeter. He replaced the left tweeter, corrected the phasing, and now both speakers sound pristine in my studio. do not listen to the bad reviews about this place a lot of people do not understand the complexities of their audio Gear and are upset when it cost money to fix. It says a lot that this is the only official Adam audio repair shop in the US.

Morris called me to discuss a plan to replace only capacitors that were out of spec and other parts to ensure safe functionality as the pieces had never been disturbed. He was insistent that we keep the sonic signature as close to original as possible. The result was spectacular. I am now the lucky steward of these pieces that should be producing sound honestly for another 50 years. Thank you Jose and Morris

Maybe it was an old tech, but still .. this is inexcusable, especially for a business that claims to be professional.

Upon arriving I was greeted by a young gentleman, which I didn't get his name, he seemed like a nice guy. Then came Stephon, we talked business first, took my info down and gave me the receipt with an assurance he was going to pinpoint the problem to my cassette deck and fix it. Then he gave me his philosophical ideas about how we listen to music, and how a lot of it has been made wrong , then proceeded to hand me a mixtape cd, all bangers by the way. There was a bit of a wait to get a call back about my cassette deck repairs, like a solid 2 weeks if not a bit more couple days passed. At first I was bit concerned but I remained to stay positive and trusted the process Anyways it's been a couple weeks I got my Nakamichi back and it works great and I couldn't be more happier.
