Pro Audio LA was once a highly reputable, trustworthy, consistently reliable company with an exemplary business model. But over the course of the past year or so (beginning around roughly mid-2025 and onward), the company inexplicably took a nosedive with its prior reputation and is quickly sending it to the dumpster, given that it mysteriously no longer responds to communications and is increasingly failing to fulfill and/or ship its existing orders. I am not certain what suddenly changed - perhaps the ownership was transfered and/or bought out, or maybe their next-of-kin inherited the business - but regardless of the reasons, I CAN tell you with certainty by this point in time is that this is no longer the Pro Audio LA which we audio professionals so fondly remember, most sadly to say. Because all of its communications and ordering processes have just about broken down within the past months, even as it continues to accept your online orders and take your money! For the record: I have $300-worth of audio interconnect cables ordered from this past springtime of 2026, and it is now mid-July as of the time of my writing of this review, yet STILL I have heard nothing further of my order. Even after multiple communication attempts. Nothing but dead silence on the other end, even though ... again ... the online order form remains open, functional, and happily charges your credit card without batting an eyelash. Clearly, something has gone terribly, heinously amiss while SOMEONE on the other end continues to take your money. And that's just about where the paper trail ends, because your online order stays in perpetual "processing" with nothing further done. That's where it sits, even as of today. So, please, heed my warning and do NOT give Pro Audio LA a single cent of your business from this point, onward. At least not until some kind of definitive light is shed on whatever has transpired within the establishment, regarding its suddenly-tanking business model. Because this doesn't smell right at all, and I am not the only recent buyer who has been raising awareness about the recent 180° turn for the worse by this company. read more

I placed my order #119746 more than 3 months ago and never received the product. Although ProAudioLA eventually replied to my emails, the responses were always delayed and filled with excuses. During the entire 3-month period there was no proper shipping update or tracking information. I had to repeatedly follow up and threaten a chargeback just to finally get a refund. This level of service shows a clear lack of commitment to the customer. A company that takes your money and then provides slow responses with constant excuses demonstrates poor professionalism and disrespect for buyers. I eventually got my money back, but the experience was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. I strongly advise others not to buy from this store. read more

Years ago, Pro Audio LA built me some custom DB25 snakes for my studio. Unfortunately, I had made a mistake in the initial schematics, so when the cables arrived, they were built exactly to my specifications--but they didn't work. I ordered 16 Dsub Snakes for my studio Jan 6, asked about expediting they said sorry can't and my delivery was expected to be Feb 20. Yesterday March 19 they write and said "we are really behind, can you let us know how urgent this is" like what the heck? It was noted to be urgent up front when I asked to expedite. I can't think of any business I'd recommend more in terms of service and quality. I used Pro Audio LA for years, and recently enjoyed their cabling service to set up a new studio from the ground up. During the process I bumped into issues with finding the correct cables for some tape machines, and Oliver has been incredibly accommodating with the trial-and-error process that was needed. The guys at La Pro Audio know the best things about audio gear. I am an avid audiophile and I have learned from them that often there is not a direct correlation in price and performance in high end audio cables. I purchased a Gotham power cord from them and it blew away all of the pricey audiophile PC's I had previously purchased. I had a great experience working with Pro Audio LA! I approached them about helping out with recording videos of some of my songs in my home studio, and in one session they helped me accomplish everything I set out to do! Jason helped set up everything up with scheduling and details, and Richard came to our home and helped set up mics in the correct position, input the audio through the interface into Logic Pro, and helped create a template including the levels and plug-in settings so we could get started recording right away. Unlike most, I came here for my home theater/audiophile set up. They were very patient and knowledgeable about diffusion and absorption. Plus, HUGE, They have four or five rooms of various sizes with different absorption and diffusion's set up for you to listen in. Top notch studio monitors and sound systems. So, you got a really good sense of what you like (I'm not an expert, but I'd say it's pretty much a matter of personal taste how "live" or muted you want your room.). I ended up getting a "London 12" foam system and some rock wool. I can't say as I can really tell the difference between various diffusers, so I'll probably get a QRD one since it seems pretty. read more
