I tried out the new location on a friday. you can either order off the menu or make your own as you go.. You have the option of pasta, rolled Piada, or a salad. You also have the option of a small or regular sized portion. I feel like the small is a perfect size. We shared the basil pasta in the farmers market salad. The salad was delicious. for the pasta you can either choose spaghetti or rigatoni. All the bowls can be customized even if you order the ones off the menu. They do have proteins you can add for a fee. They have Inside and outside seating. Parking is available on site, but it is shared with the other businesses. This location is in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's Friday. The do have an app. Since we went on opening week, it was very busy. It did take about 40 minutes to order. I like that they had a staff member keeping us up-to-date on how long it would take based on where we were in line. They were also able to answer our questions regarding the menu too

Had the pleasure of trying piada the week they opened the new location at huebner oaks. The area is thriving more and more with shops and restaurants but piadas seating area was spacious and cool. The food was amazing such large portions for a very good price. The broccoli was well seasoning and the carbanora pasta sauce was rich and flavorful as someone who loves pasta I was not disappointed. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about items on the menu and willing to explain to us what items were. Loved this place, definitely my new go to

Hmmm...maybe we'll try again when it's not so busy. Service was good and fast. The line moved fairly quickly and everyone was friendly. I think the food needed to be heated up a bit more for my liking. The food was good but i hardly got any chicken bits in my pasta. My daughter and I enjoyed the Piada sticks. We tried the hibiscus lemonade but it was very tart for our liking. The restaurant itself was very clean, but they should maybe change the shades to heat blocking shades. It was really warm inside. We took our food to go since it was very crowded, warm and no where to sit.

Were served quickly and staff was so kind and friendly. Cute place to grab a quick bite. Food was mega fresh and delicious. Quiet enough for conversations. Nice vibe.

I love piada!!! I loved the carbonara pasta and my son tried the chicken Alfredo with rigatoni. On Wednesdays they offer students a $9 entree (any) plus a large drink. Definitely a good deal! It's fairly new so it does get packed quickly but worth the wait. Service is always friendly :) it's a good place to sit down and eat.

As far as the food, we had the fried mozzarella, which was essentially a log of cheese deep-fried and served over sauce. It was delicious, but the cheese-to-crust ratio was a bit heavy. The Caesar salad looked better than it tasted. It was very wet, if that makes sense, and the lettuce seemed soggy. Now for the Wagyu ragu. This almost made me have a seizure, and not in a good way. It was extremely salty and completely inedible, so we had to send it back. The waitstaff was very accommodating and agreed that the salt level was way off, so we replaced it with the carbonara. I'm not sure if that's what authentic carbonara is supposed to taste like, but I did not enjoy it. It tasted burnt to me and had too much pepper. I also didn't care for the shape of the noodles. Last, we had the Americano pizza. It was decent, but nothing to write home about. I just think that if you're going to advertise a pizza with meat on it, there should be more than one piece of sausage per slice. As far as the service, our server was fine. Not particularly friendly, but straightforward and efficient. The manager (or another server) was helpful when it came to replacing our dish. Overall, I would not go back. The location is great and the vibe is nice, but the food was a miss. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My sweet potato of a boy has somehow decided that cheese tortellini is the epitome of fine dining,…read moreand in the interest of not having to cook too often, we've been on a quest to find the best tortellini in town. I thought the "soup of the day: cheese tortellini" sign...was a joke like "soup of the day: beer". No, that's really the soup option. Anyway, this one was close to his school, had a tortellini entree, and looked pretty good, so we decided to give it a whirl. We've gotten the last walk-in table twice now, at 5:45 pm. Which really gives me the warm fuzzies. It's a tiny space that seats maybe 20 folks; it's proud, not upscale, but not run down and reasonably busy. It's slightly claustrophobic, but in a way that implies they're prioritizing space for tables. It's the kind of place where you can just feel that the food is gonna be good. The kid got the cheese tortellini on both visits and will do so on every visit in the future for all of eternity. He decided he's not a fan of tortellini in soup form, so I get his soup. He rates the entree somewhere above HEB imported refrigerated variety and somewhere below his most beloved Pesto Restaurante, but I think if we tweak the sauce, we will get it dialed in ok. I've gotten Veal Francese both times, because I'm a monster, and when I see veal on a menu, I can't help myself. It was paired with a salad, and (my kid's) soup, and the entree was served with pasta al dente. Super filling and priced quite reasonably. It was delicious - I loved everything about it. Awesome little family-style place, great food, good atmosphere, ample parking. This one checks all the boxes.

Our server was visibly upset about splitting the bill and seemed frustrated throughout the process. We gave her cash to put toward the bill and planned to pay the remaining balance by credit card, but she initially took the cash as a tip instead. When we clarified that the cash was for the bill, she seemed frustrated and said she didn't know how to fix it. Another server eventually had to step in. After we left we noticed we were billed incorrectly....... The food was great, but based on our experience, I'd recommend being prepared to pay the check all together. Splitting the bill seemed to be a major issue for our server.

I have been praying for a decent Italian restaurant to open up close to us. My prayers have been answered. This location used to be a pizza sports bar kind of place that closed a few months ago. Now it is a very nice full-menued Italian restaurant. A lot of my favorite dishes are on the menu. Today, I tried the cannelloni in marinara sauce. My wife tried the cannelloni in Al Fredo. We were served a nice cold and crisp salad along with a basket of bread knots. That bread was soft and delicious, especially when dipped in the bowl of olive oil they provided with it. Both of our entrees were very good. They were served piping hot straight out of the oven in oval dishes. I tasted the Al Fredo and it was delicious. It is way too rich for me, hence my ordering the marinara, which was amazing. Since they gave us two huge bread knots each, I used my second one to sop up the sauce like an ill-mannered peasant. Talk about good! We each chose one of their delicious desserts to take home. My wife opted for chocolate cheesecake. I am not a fan of that at all, but she said it was really good. I had the Italian Cream Cake. It was moist and delicious with lots of awesome icing. Our server, Rose, was very welcoming and helpful. She seemed well-versed on the menu and assisted us in making our choices. The manager was very friendly and talked to us a bit. The music was relaxing. All in all, I liked everything about this place and hope they do a great business. I truly expect to become a regular here.

We started with an appetizer: 6 Stuffed mushrooms & they were small but did not disappoint us. Servive was excellent, our waitress was very polite & attentive. Ambiance was very nice. The menu is pricey, which we don't mind when the food is good. The food we had does not justify these prices. The calamari ($16) is obviously cooked from frozen. It's not seasoned and was overcooked. Calamari isn't the most forgiving dish, so we didn't say anything. It was still edible and we were hungry. The marinara sauce wasn't bad. The side salads (one free with entrée, one $6) were your basic bagged salad with one sad slice of tomato and three slivers of shaved carrot. Dressing is not made in house. The bread (free with entrée) was the star. The dipping oil ($5) seemed like the only thing that was actually made from scratch. It was full of chopped garlic and basil with some red pepper flakes. Absolutely delightful. The bread came out fresh. It had a lovely crisp crust and a pillowy soft middle. I could have eaten a whole basket of the bread. I'm not sure if it's baked from frozen, but it was really good. We split the cappellini carciofi entrée ($16 lunch special) that was described as chicken breast sautéed with artichokes, fresh tomatoes and white wine. Served in a lemon sauce over angel hair. What we got was an anemic chicken breast pounded wafer thin that had been stewed in canned tomatoes and artichokes. There no lemon flavor in the sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly, but the sauce just tasted like oil. The whole dish had a metallic taste that made us instantly stop eating bc it just tasted off. At that point we were over it. We had been willing to overlook the disappointing calamari, if the main dish had been great, but it was worse. Our server was very nice, but for some reason when apologizing for the bread taking longer to come out, decided to say she was baking it fresh so it "wouldn't get salmonella, because there'd been so many outbreaks". My husband and I looked at each other like. "huh? What are you doing with bread to risk salmonella?" and why would you mention salmonella right before bringing me chicken dish?!? Weird. When advised we didn't like the dish, she was very kind and got the manager. The manager did offer to bring us something else but we were already so turned off, we just wanted to go. She did bring us some more bread to go with the dipping oil that we asked to take home which was a nice touch. I don't know if we will go back. Some of the pics and reviews make me think maybe we just got the wrong thing or went on an off day.
