Saved my life! Well not literally but sure were a huge help! I locked my keys in the trunk and there was no way into it even after getting into the car thanks to antitheft programming. Vim was able to make a key and get me into the trunk. I had a flight to catch rather quickly and I made it! EDIT After posting this, the owner contacted me and apologized profusely, saying that sometimes they subcontract out and this was very embarrassing. He said he would refund the charge and would pay for any other locksmith we'd called, and offered to help us out free of charge in the future if we ever needed a locksmith again. Very thoughtful and generous, and I'm updating my review to reflect this from 1 to 5 stars. I mean, we did get in, and the owner obviously cares a lot about his business. I'm sure you'll never have the same subcontractor come out to your place :) --------- OLD REVIEW BELOW Hahahahahah Locked myself out of my apartment, couldn't get ahold of the landlord, so ended up calling these guys to come by. After trying for 10 or 15 minutes, he declared the bolt broken, even though I repeatedly told him that was not possible, it was just the doorknob that autolocked behind me and there was no way to engage the bolt from the outside without the key. My partner had bought a cheap lockpicking kit a year or so ago, and I've picked my own door several times with ease, so I was especially surprised. He charged a $35 service fee and departed, saying it would need to be drilled out. He accidentally left a small torsion wrench on the floor, and that plus a bobby pin from the ground and five minutes, we picked the door open ourselves. Yep! Thanks for the $35 tool! I'll leave it outside in case I ever need it again, but I think I'll delete this number from my phone. I'm not mad because we had a good laugh. read more

HORRIBLE !!! I needed help with my lock and they sent someone out and they charged me 185$ for NOTHING except unlocking my car... These guys are super. Highly recommended. They went above and beyond to help me out. I lost my car keys, they came out to take care of that and found out I needed more then just my keys. My car got broken in to, and they even stole gas from my tank! They help me out getting gas for my car and then found out my fuse was also out. Guess what? They took care of that too. Locked my only keys in my trunk, and - long story short - it is impossible to get in there without the key or the fob; and I had to drive 100 miles in a couple of hours. Roadside Assistance was able to get me in the car, but not into the trunk...very secure vehicle. Pi Security was out in 30 minutes. It was not going to be cheap for the worst case scenario of cutting a new key, but the estimate wasn't unreasonable. They found a workaround to get in less than 30 minutes after they arrived. These guys are AMAZING! We needed the doors rekeyed in our new home and had a very short time-window to get it all done, and they made us a top priority to come the day we called to ask. Nim Gil, the general manager, came out himself to do the work! He was so helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions beforehand and on-site, and he offered some great advice throughout the service. I first found Pi when I needed a key for my Lexus. The lock tech created 2 spare keys while I waited and gave me a fair price (cheaper than the dealership). He made sure both keys worked, the alarm button, truck opener button etc. were working which I appreciated. My 2nd experience was recently my apartment got broken into. We just bought an old home with a lot of outdated and non-functioning doorknobs and locks. We called PSS to see if they could help up repair and/or update the hardware. The PSS technician (Valentin) was thoroughly professional, courteous and took great pride in his work. He repaired hardware I thought had to be replaced and he recommended some new equipment and upgrades--but never in a pushy, sales-y way. He even helped fix a door that would not shut properly--not because of the hardware--but because because of a misaligned metal doorjamb liner (not really a locksmith project but he wanted to fix the problem). I plan to purchase and install a high-security front door lock from PSS, based on this experience. Thank you, guys. With the type of lock on the door it was not an easy feat...Drilling was a last resort and it only came up as a possibility after spending a few hours first....even called a colleague to help.
