I got both at Nova. Dr. Kev, Izzy, and Autumn were my main care team. I adore these people. Kev constantly assessed and amended my routine to aid recovery, and encouraged me to keep working at home. But when I got wonky, he also provided gentle but authoritative nudges to get me back on track. Additionally, he's a real good guy and a hoot to talk with. Izzy and Autumn keep the busy practice running smoothly, pay good attention to everyone, and are absolutely delightful people. I saw a few different people at first and just booked whoever was available, but started to book Ron and Ephraim since their time and availability always seemed to work with my schedule. I could definitely feel my knee/leg getting stronger and was often sore (in a good workout kind of way) and they never pushed me when I couldn't complete any sets. They really listened to feedback when I was sore and had pain and adjusted the entire workout around my feedback as well as the post workout treatment. Cox provides a full hour of comprehensive physical therapy at each and every visit. This included shoulder mobility with my physical therapist, supervised exercises and recovery afterwards. There is always one person assigned to each client to ensure all movements are done correctly and efficiently. At my prior physical therapy agency, I was frequently told what to do and then sent off to a corner on my own to complete the exercise without any real supervision and sessions were never more than 30 minutes total. Patients were always overbooked and you didn't receive any individualized attention during sessions. I've returned on two more occasions to Cox for tennis elbow and a meniscus tear in the knee, and the care I received has always been excellent. Highly recommend them.

But once you know your routine there's not much more to offer. Meanwhile this institution focuses on analyzing and building a solid program to really help your back. At its core is chiropractor services and a lot of very helpful chiropractors that will give you a detailed analysis of your back issues and constantly check up on you. From there they offer massage therapy, Pilates based PT, and some other things I haven't tried out yet. I go weekly and do a 50 min back massage and adjustment session. The massage is really high quality. More like acupressure. I'd recommend trying different massage therapists and finding the one that works best for you. Every human is different.
