It's a beautiful space on a hillside and you can see the herd and their guardian llama as you pull into the parking lot. We learned a lot about the alpaca life cycle, fed the boys, and my daughter got to hold and carry a cria. We bought two cute alpaca shaped soaps. I didn't experience any of the negativity others have complained about. It is a working ranch so it's not a petting zoo or a tourist attraction. Go with the flow and you'll have a great experience.

Rick has years of MC work as well. His music transitions were smooth and he knew what to say and when to say it. My wife and met with Rick 2 times physically and communicated with him over the phone a bunch more. Rick helped put together the full schedule for our wedding. My brother-in-law played the guitar with background music playing and it sounded like one grand song. Rick, my wife, and I, established a the type of music we wanted to listen to during dinner and what to dance to. As part of the schedule establishment, Rick even caught the little things like re-entry music for when my wife and I re-entered the party after taking photos. 110% above and beyond what we imagined. Lastly, his equipment is all top of the line and his work is very professional. I truly do not have a single bad moment that I can remember with our experience with Rick. I understand that people can put a Playlist together and let it play but a great party requires so much more and Rick delivered. Now that I think about it, we even used Rick for my Dad's 50th. We faced a pretty major challenge early in the evening: our venue lost power right before dinner. While many bands might've panicked, they immediately jumped into problem-solving mode. They worked hand-in-hand with our planner and the venue to find creative solutions, and truly went above and beyond to keep things moving. During the delay, they kept our guests entertained and hyped during cocktail hour, it actually turned into one of the highlights of the night. Our emcee was phenomenal. We gave him some talking points, but he absolutely nailed the tone, energy, and flow of the night, from intros to speeches to key transitions. It felt like he was part of our team, not just someone we hired. Because of the power issue, our dancing window ended up getting cut short, but the band made sure to prioritize the songs that meant the most to us. They brought such high energy and kept the dance floor packed the entire time we had left. They also arrived early and were incredibly helpful with setup and coordination. You could tell they weren't just there to play music, they were there to make the whole night as smooth and special as possible. If you're on the fence about booking them, don't be. You'll be in the best hands possible, even if your wedding throws a few curveballs like ours did!
