I came in for a single pickup order, and the staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable for not leaving a tip. I've worked in the food industry for 14 years, and I would never treat a guest that way--especially over a takeout order. Tipping is optional, and no customer should be made to feel guilty or unwelcome for their choice. Treating guests like that is very bad for business.Because of how I was treated, I won't be returning. I'd rather drive to Temecula to Boiling Pho where the service is always friendly and I'm treated with respect. Hopefully this place can train their staff better so guests don't leave feeling judged. read more

I've eaten here four times now, since it was under prior ownership once and three times after. As a OC transplant, I've been spoilt for great pho, bun bo hue, and nem nuong. Fallbrook and honestly a lot of North County doesn't have a true, solid, delicious, consistent experiences to be had. Thankfully Pho'Tastic finally got it right. The bun bo hue is one of the most flavorful I've had in a long time. I do think it could use a touch more in the heat/spice department, but, the flavor development and perfectly rendered down tendon was to die for. Portions and price are solid too -- I was too full to eat my nem nuong. I've had 2 different variations of their pho ba and pho ga, and both were light, crisp, not too oily, and excellently balanced between the toasted spices and the long simmered broth. All of them picked me right back up when I was sick and at my worst. I prefer the house special Pho'Tastic Pho with all the fixings but when the stomach is upset, a more simple rare steak pho hits. Service and flavor have been massively improved -- staff is friendly, helpful, attentive, and energetic. Music and ambiance are nicely balanced, and it was nice that their TVs had a variety of things to peek at between bites, rather than just sports or news or something. Keep it up guys! I've only eaten inside maybe two times but I usually get my pho for delivery. It's always been perfect! Never cold and omg the flavor! I moved from the Bay Area and I had a couple favorite pho places that I loved and have been looking for one down here. Definitely doesn't disappoint and is absolutely delicious! 10/10! Restaurant is an unsuspecting spot in a shopping center but it was sooo good! First, it was CLEAN: tables, chairs & bench was all wiped down, table condiments were wiped, floor was swept, the place was clean y'all. Pho broth was superb, meat was fresh & tender, they gave us alllllll the condiments & plenty of it. Staff was attentive but not interrupting, they just filled the waters when needed & brought us the check, to-go bags & container and let us sit as long as we wanted. Def coming back! read more

I went to this restaurant for the first time for lunch this afternoon and it was really good. Truong my server who is very sweet and very nice and also the owner, I believe went over the menu with me and I went with the salmon with vercemelli noodles and also had their rice paper spring rolls with shrimp as my appetizers. The music and ambiance were great. I would recommend this place. The only downside was the salmon was overcooked and a little dry but I tipped them generously for their great service and making sure I enjoyed my first time experience there. We just had a fantastic meal at Photastic. The Egg Rolls were the closest we've ever had to what my Vietnamese mother-in-law makes. The Pho was delicious and served with plenty of veg. A new restaurant and truly a great one... Pleasing decor and fantastic service. We had been looking for a Vietnamese restaurant in the Fallbrook area and we really lucked out. The wife had Pho soup with rare steak, flank, brisket, tendon, tripe and meatballs, onion, etc. The broth was aeromatic and wonderful with delicious noodles. She loved the dish.. I had the Grilled pork plate with broken rice, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, pickled carrot and daikon. My dish (and my wifes) also came with a bowl of broth soup which was delicious. If you haven't tried Vietnamese please do so. You will find it to be wonderful. In short it was the best we have ever had and we will be back. read more

This is our 2nd visit to Pho'Tastic, 1st my wife and I shared the rare steak Pho, the broth was very flavorful and the meat was tender. This time I had the Pho'Tastic vermicelli bowl, and my wife had the Pho'Tastic broken rice. Both were delicious, will order again pho sure. The first reincarnation failed and I hope these owners can make the changes they need The new owner seemed very energetic and friendly , I am fully supportive of young entrepreneurs with their new ventures We ordered a appetizer and a main meal - unfotunatley both disappointed Both were Tofu based and lacked the flavor we were expectiong = with that I was disappointed with the size of the portions = When we arrived mid afternoon on a Sunday we were the only sit down patrons - eventually the place started to fill up nicely. Although the place has a pleasant appearance the ambiance was ALL wrong - The music playing was more pop oriented and overwhelming - too loud and the sports or what ever was on the TVs was distracting If your projecting a Vietnamese or Asian presence be consistent with your message - There is a ton of potential at this place - The food needs to be served hot (some was not at all) and with a decent size portion - Again in our case both the Tofu Veggie Stir fry and the Tofu Rolls just dd not make the grade ---A larger and more creative selection of Vegetarian options would be helpful as well as all the basics that go along with a meal when ordered - Utensiles / Napkins I do wish that they turn this place around = there is much potential at this location - Not much in good Asian places in Fallbrook proper - and sometimes we do not want to leave our beautiful enclave to venture to Vista , Oceanside or even Bonsall --- I do wish this young entrepreneur the very best - but based on our meal we won't be back read more

I gotta give this a five now. What a difference from Pho Bomb. You used to walk in and there was no music, no TVs on, and awkward interactions with staff. Now, it's a place you want to come back to over and over again. It was dark and depressive before. I walked in and the place was loaded with guests, laughing staff, and great throwback music. The food was amazing! The new chef really puts their heart into the food. I was skeptical and hesitant to return, but I am so happy I did. I got the photastic pho and my girl got the photastic vermicelli. We also split a pork banh mi. The flavors were bold yet so refreshing! We're gonna be back way more often. Back again! Had a "ME"day took myself out to lunch today and decided I wanted some Vietnamese food so stopped in here. Food was delicious again and presentation was on point. I ordered The G1 on Menu in case you want to order it. The hot soup was tu o take home for my stepson! The shrimp spring rolls were very refreshing. Service was great and the food came out pretty fast and staff were very friendly and greeted you as soon as you walked in.
