A smock was used that only covered the chest so hair ended up all down their back and in the collar of nape of the neck. The brush used was full of hair like it hadn't been cleaned out in a long time. The overall look of the salon was clean and nice but this specific person's work station was dusty and full of hair like they didn't clean it for a long time. The entire wash and cut appointment lasted about 20 minutes and there was very little consultation about how I wear my hair or what shape I wanted the cut to have. With thick hair, a blunt shoulder cut leaves the hair very heavy and difficult to manage. I did try to address my concerns after the appointment and Diane later offered a refund, which I appreciate, but the experience itself was still very disappointing given how much length was removed compared to what we discussed.

Approximately 6 days later Harmony states "After further consideration we are not a good fit". The issue is that I had cancelled an appointment with another stylist to book with her. So I loss my appointment and deposits and no explanation of what changed from my consult to setting my establishment appointment. She has really good work from what I can see but it would have been nice for her to be upfront from the start.
