I love vermicelli because it doesn't feel heavy and kinda feels like a healthy "salad" they didn't skimp out on the meat at all.. I mean look at all the chicken (hello protein)!! The lettuce, bean sprout and picked carrots were FRESH. I love a good crisp crunch! The service was just as amazing if not made the dining experience that much better. Our first time here and everything was so good. We ordered 6 items- oysters, papaya salad, imperial rolls, beef skewers, chicken wings and broken rice dish with pork. Everything tasted so good and the ingredients are so fresh. The beef skewers were a bit overcooked but the rest of the dishes were perfect. I went to phorage weho after I had a hard day and was excited for a warm bowl. I never write bad reviews but it was a Thursday night and no one was there. (That says something in Los Angeles) They turned me away thirty minutes before the "9pm" closing" saying they aren't serving. I check the time and ask if I was wrong about the 9pm closing. They said no- that's correct we are just not serving.....I get why you are empty on a Thursday. I feel bad for the owners that aren't seeing how the employees are turning down paying customers. I have passed this place a hundred times going to Trader Joe's and today I finally decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. The food was fresh and tasty and really hit the spot. I had the bahn mi and all I can say is it was delicious and made me so happy. It isn't the cheapest but it was worth it because I only ate half and saved the rest for dinner. I am super excited to come back and make my way through the whole menu! The guy that took my order was really nice. I may have missed the lunch rush because it was pretty empty around 2p. Recently got the chance to visit Phorage WeHo on my visit to LA. Was definitely worth the visit! All the apps were delicious with some notable ones being the fish sauce wings as well as the hamachi. The drinks were also very unique and satisfying, I had the Caribbean snowdrift which was nice and refreshing. Now that I work remote, I can visit LA for a few weeks/months so I've been staying at my sister's place that is conveniently located near Phorage. My loyalty to Phorage stems from during the Pandemic when everything was shut down in New York and I was craving pho. Took a chance to gold-belly food from Phorage, and man, the food, service, and packaging was outstanding. So of course, I decided to hit up Phorage during my stay here in LA. You know, there's just something charming about this place. It's small, in an unassuming location, which I sort of like, because I hate it when great gems get discovered too quickly and then it becomes impossible to go. They have a full bar, which I never really noticed until recently. I've been looking for a local bar/hangout near where my sister lives so this time, I decided to come here on a Saturday night for dinner. I sat at the bar, ordered an oxtail pho and a drink. I chatted up the bartender and he made me my drink of choice: an old fashioned. Now, I have this personal rule about cocktails...if the bartender can't make a solid old fashioned, then its a fail in my book. Well, Phorage, I was very pleasantly surprised because my drink was legit! I happily enjoyed my oxtail pho but then saw the customer next to me order a "wagyu burger" so I asked the bartender what that was. Apparently its a new item on their menu. I was intrigued because it looked so good and the customer was obviously enjoying it with all the loud moaning noises he was making. Well, you know what I did the next day... I came back to try their Wagyu burger...and wow wow wow. Game over. Freaking delicious. I am happy. Solid food, amazing drinks, friendly atmosphere...Phorage is now my local hangout while I'm here in LA. I'm determined to try everything on their menu. read more

Finally got to try this place but was left underwhelmed. Got the shrimp pho and it just smelled fishy with very little taste and no lemongrass flavor to be found whatsoever. For $19, I'd expect more.
