From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Sandeep Kaur. It was inspiring to see an all-female team running the show with such dedication. The food was beyond authentic. We ordered the Amritsari Kulcha, Tadka Dal, and rice, and every bite was remarkably fresh. The Kulcha was the star of the show--presented sizzler-style under hot tava with fumes still rising. Honestly, it tasted even better than the kulchas we had in Amritsar last year! The Tadka Dal and yellow rice were the perfect, delicious compliments to the meal. It's pretty small with maybe 10 or so seats and some little cultural decorations. The guy at the counter is nice and walks you through the what you're ordering. They have a pretty wide menu and we got the pollo supreme burrito which comes with rice, beans, onions, sour cream, and cheese. The chicken is a chipotle chicken that is tender and flavorful. They toast the tortilla which gives it some depth of flavor. We got it spicy which gives it some but not a lot of heat. Overall, a great spot to get some food on a long ride between NorCal and SoCal.
