This place is a scam and rip off. They put fake parts on your phone. I got my screen switched out and on my way home during the drive my screen started to bleed. I went back and they claimed I dropped my phone after they fixed it. I had no damage to my phone to indicate such, and also the fact that I didn't drop it. I called the police and even they tried to reason with them. You could literally see the glue coming undone! They refused to budge, I was advised by the police to take them to small claims court. I had all the evidenceI needed but I just was too busy to make it to court which I guess that's what they count on. Stay away from these guys. This business replaces authentic parts with very cheap replacements. Not to mention, further damage is done to your device during repair. Prior to having my phone serviced here I had no issues with the exception of a cracked screen. After receiving the new screen, my reliable, perfectly-working phone now has the following issues: (1.) No longer able to have calls with the phone to my ear, as I cannot hear the person on the other end. I have to make/receive calls by speakerphone only. (2.) Wired headsets no longer work at all. (3.) Images are burned into the screen. No matter what app I'm using, I can see the images of my home screen apps. I also want to mention, I was charged a hefty $200 to replace the screen on my Galaxy S8. From the reviews I've read, replacement screens have cost way less for other customers. Also, when the repair guy handed me my phone, I noticed scratches were already on the new screen. I argued with him about this and his only response/concern was, "You have a new screen, those small scratches shouldn't matter." When I arrived they informed me they didn't have the screen but could order it. - Says different prices: On the phone I asked how much it would cost and they said one price. When we got to the store they said that it would cost more. - The store is run down: The photos on here must be from when they first opened up and the place was not well kept at all. Lightning fast service!!!! My iPhone had a cracked screen. I called them for a quote and asked if there was a wait, they told me to come on in, there were only walk-ins at the moment. I got there, they told me it would take 20 minutes. I think he was done in 10, no lie. Like I said lightnin fast service. And amazing service at that. I feel like new money with my new screen. I hate walking around with a cracked screen, makes me feel so low budget. I won't say on here how much they charge just to respect their business but I will say it was under $100 and less than I've ever paid before. And they're very nice which I appreciate because I will walk out just because of bad customer service alone. Hopefully I won't have to go back but if my screen or someone I know gets cracked again, I wouldn't hesitate to come here. Pros: I took my phone here to get fixed. My screen was cracked and they were able to fix it quickly. Cons: After getting my phone fixed, black spots began to appear underneath the screen. My screen was cracked for a few days prior to getting it fixed and not once did I see these dots. When I took the phone back up there, they were convinced I dropped my phone (not true) and informed me they would not be able to fix it. The screen is now coming off of the phone altogether. Clearly a poor job on their part and one they are not willing to resolve. I paid too much money for them to not be held accountable. I do not recommend this store. read more

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED This was my WORST experience and nightmare. Let me explain because I don't want other customers to have a similar experience. The charging port on my Samsung Galaxy S8 plus suddenly stopped working. On Saturday Dec. 15th I called this place and they told me to come in and pay for the piece because they needed to order it from someone else. I was told that the piece was arriving on Monday the 17th and that they would give me a call on that day to come in and have the piece installed. Monday...Gone. No calls from this place. Tuesday at 3PM, I Decide to call in, I'm told that the piece would arrive on Wednesday. Wednesday still no call. I call in on Thursday. Now they told me that Friday they would have the piece. Friday. I call in and ..... BINGO!, They finally have the charging port. They told me that it would take 30 minutes to get it installed. I go to the place, it took about 45 minutes and... 1- The charging port is not working as supposed. 2- NOW A BIGGER ISSUE: Despite that the phone isn't changing, The phone is not connecting to the network. Any network ‍. 3- The Technician, starts to blame on the service provider. 4- They start to question if the phone was working before.( Good thing that I made a couple of phone calls in front of them before turning in the phone). After almost 5 hours there, I decide to go home. I asked them to loan me a phone while they figure out what THEY did to my . I tried hard and convinced them. They Loaned me a SGS5. The phone barely made phone calls. No text messages, no internet... nothing. I WAS FRUSTRATED. On Saturday 12/22 I call in to ask for an update. They tell me: " Sr. Your phone is ready!" GREAT! ISN'T IT? I go to the place, they were unable to fix the issue, instead, they scratched the back cover. The cover looked really loose and dirty. And on top of all of that, when I asked for a refund, (OBVIOUSLY), they looked at me as if I as crazy. WORST PLACE EVER! read more

I went here for a replacement SIM card for my phone and they replied rudely saying they didn't have any and there were a few in stock on the wall. He then proceeded to tell me that they don't take returns. I never asked to return it only to purchase it. The aggression that they had toward me when I came in the door let me know that they had pre-judged me before I even came and asked them a question. They have a store in a predominately black area and this is the treatment that I received. I will not be back and if I could give them zero stars I would. Phone City Largo -- is the worst place ever regarding customer service. It's only about getting your money, not about keeping your service! I took my grandson's phone there to have the screen replaced for the second time. First time (3 weeks earlier), I let him talk me into the screen protection cover, that was a ripe off -- the screen broke even with that on it. I took it back on Friday, August 24, 2018 to have the screen replaced again. When I gave the guy the phone it said disabled. He said "oh the phone is disabled", I said oh so you can't fix it, I'll have my grandson enable it and bring it back then. Because he was so pressed for the money, he said he could fix it even though it was disabled, so I let him. Need I say, we have not been able to use the disable function to get the phone back to factory settings because of the screen. I took it to the Apple store and had them print their findings, where they recommended we take it back to Phone City and have them try another screen. I showed the Phone City owner the Apple recommendations and instead of trying another screen (I didn't ask for a refund), he proceeded to tell me Apple was wrong, it didn't need another screen, and so forth and so on... After hearing him speak non-sense to me for 7 mins on Apple being wrong, and not attempting to try just try another screen, I told him to keep the $67.00 I paid for the screen replacement as clearly it was only about money for him and not customer service! All I wanted, was for them to try another screen! I will NEVER use Phone City Largo again. All they do is try to add on all these additional items to get more money from you. They have NO customer service skills at all. Please NOTE, I never asked him for my money back, I just asked him to try another screen! Yet, he gave me the run around for 7 mins on Apple being wrong! Right -- that's why you're making money fixing Apple phone screens because they are wrong! I should have known they were bad business when I saw they sold body oils in a Phone store! DO NOT USE THE LARGO LOCATION TO GET ANY OF YOUR BROKEN SCREENS FIXED. THOUGH APPLE IS A BIT HIGHER, THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS! UNLIKE THIS HORRIBLE BUSINESS who wouldn't even TRY to assist a customer by just trying a new screen! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I've had my phone for several years dropping it occassionally and never cracked. Last week it cracked ;(. I had it repaired on Sunday morning. I paid $89 plus a screen protector and new protective case. I asked the repairman if the new glass is the same quality as what Apple uses because it's lasted through several years of dropping and no cracks he said yes its the same glass as apple and I had a two week warranty. ( other stores offer a lifetime warranty so I will go with them next time). A week later I dropped my phone and it cracked on the first drop!! I return to the store to ask for a refund as I'm well within the two week time frame. The guy says no refund for cracked screens, no exceptions. These guys are selling cheap replacement screens and lying about the quality and the return policy. Unless you want to risk blowing 69 plus extras. I discovered phone city in May when my phone finally gave in and cracked after being dropped for years. I totally love this place the customer service is so outstanding the only thing it's without is a beer while you wait lol (the seating is comfortable!. The 2 homies that work there will work with you on any phone and here and there on the price...within 5 days my phone looked like a whole new phone I want beyond pleased with the work, time and effort these guys put in...I went back 6-11-18 the inside of the plug in was brokeeen so it stayed dead for days it costed a lot to fix I was in an unseen panic. They put my phone on wireless charger even though I couldn't get my phone fixed from them. Talk About Good people!!! I'd DEFINITELY recommend these cool phone repair guys for any issues you have with a mobile device or anything you need to pick up charger, headphones, body oils etc. Who can refuse exceptional customer service in this crazy world of ppl tryna get you and get over on you just to make a dollar!!
