Very professional, prompt and knowledgeable. Price was fair and quality of repair was top notch. Would definitely recommend. read more

The repair of my older iPad was excellent and communication with Sampson was straightforward. I received a prompt apology and promise to improve from the poor communication (overpromising, not being informed of delays) I experienced, so I am amending my 3 star review. read more

SO when you're in a crunch and you crack your phone on a damn brick paver, what do you do? If you're like me, you have NO idea especially because time is not on your side. Chatting with some folks And they mention a mobile phone repair service which you're thinking is too good to be true... or is it? Went online to the website and made an appointment at 8:53 AM figuring it was a longshot that they would actually be able to accommodate my 12 noon request and voilà-Joe comes to the rescue! He calls me and lets me know he's en route to my location and would call me upon arrival, which he surely did. He came upstairs to my office, fixed my screen, provided me with another screen protector at a relatively minimal cost and he even helped me and my crazed self become untangled from my necklace and headphones (don't ask!). Joe was super cool, personable and most importantly-fast! 20 mins later, screen was fixed and he was on his way. I honestly think he was finished sooner than he called me but was giving me a few more minutes because I was so frazzled. Excellent customer service and job well done. Truth be told, I'm hoping I never have to use their service again however IF I do, they are the ONLY company I will call. Thanks Joe! read more

Initially I was very pleased by the repair. The response for a quote was quick, easily able to schedule an appointment for the next day, at my home. We had 2 phones repaired. An iPhone 6s with a badly cracked screen. And an iPhone 7 that was not able to make or receive calls due to a sound issue, no sound, speakerphone button was grayed out. There was sound for music and Bluetooth. The iPhone 7 earpiece was replaced, to see if that was the cause. While still open the phone was tested, the sound still did not work. Once the phone was closed up the it would no longer turn on. We called the technician back. We were told it was a mess, not sure why it wouldn't turn on. We were planning to replace the phone anyway, although we would have like to backup the phone and transfer the information, which we could no longer do, as it would not turn on. The iPhone 6s screen was replaced. The phone turned on and was handed back to me it looked fine. My son noticed the next day that the screen was not flush with the body of the phone. Sure enough there was a gap, a fingernail could easily slide into the side of the phone. We were on our way out of town, unable to go back and have the issue remedied. I figured we would just have someone reseat the screen later. I took the phone in for a battery repair, I do not think is connected to the screen repair. I pointed out the gap and asked them to make sure the screen was set properly when they were finished. When they opened the phone up they found pieces of glass (from the broken screen) in the phone and screws missing. This was why the screen was not sitting flush. -We paid for a replacement earpiece on the iPhone 7, the phone that no longer worked. -We paid for the screen repair, which the glass was replaced, but not properly installed. -And we tipped the man for his time for traveling to us. I was not really upset about the iPhone 7 not working until realizing that the screen repair was not properly completed. Two phones "repaired" and two phones with issues after the repair makes me believe that both repairs were not completed on good faith. I would not recommend using this company, even though I realize there are a lot of great reviews, maybe it was a bad day...whatever it is, bottom line for me, it's money lost now for work not done correctly. read more

Fast and clean job. Joseph was very professional and friendly also was very responsive and neat. He fixed my note 8 cracked dead screen in no time at all. So after a whole ordeal of my phone not working, the manager nonstop calling and texting to remove my review so it wouldn't affect his business, I got a refund and was left with a half functioning screen that glitched almost all the time. I went back home and had someone look at the phone and once again change the screen. He informed me that phone doctor had pretty much scammed me- half the screws were missing and it was a super cheap screen. He even showed me how they messed it up so "True Tone" didn't show up on my iPhone- but as most consumers, I had no idea about any of this. I am obviously very disappointed and while I'm glad they gave me the refund (only to improve their reviews), I felt compelled to write this because I wish others wouldn't have succumbed to the pressure to update / boost reviews in order to get a repair or refund. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. They are not transparent and I hope nobody else falls victim to this scheme or at least that the company stops doing this. Read through the other reviews- many people have similar experiences. And even worse, the company has made a new Yelp page to get rid of all these reviews (look them up). They are not worth your money or time. So very disappointed by this service and annoyed the only part they care about is forcing customers to amend reviews so they can keep it going. Save yourself the trouble please. read more

These guys are a dream come true. Joe replaced a battery and a screen on an iPhone. I was a little nervous about having it serviced outside an Apple store, but the phone is a couple of years old and not worth spending hundreds of dollars on. The phone was fixed in my home, quickly, and inexpensively (as opposed to waiting days for an appointment, spending 2 hours at the Apple store and then paying a ton of $$). Time will tell I suppose but as of now the phone feels like new. read more

Highly recommend! Friendly, communicative, easy contactless transaction. They picked up from my house and did a great job at a fair price.

Best service I have ever had! I have four boys so I have replaced many iPhone screens. Joe response time was impeccable! Reasonable quote, same day service, arrived at my home on time, and record breaking repair time!! I will definitely use him again!!!! Better than any repair I've had. He worked in his car due to COVID-19 which was ok with me. Son happy! Mom happy!!! read more

One of the quickest and more proficient and reasonable Company Ive worked with for repairs...Joe is a Great guy and knows alot about Apple and all of Apple products. I really appreciate this type of customer service during these tough times....Drop-off and pick up service as well as on-the spot repairs. Nice! read more

ORIGINAL POST: I am so disappointed I have not enjoyed the great service and speediness others have experienced. I have been waiting for my appointment for close to 3 hours now. I gave them a call a half hour into when my appointment was supposed to begin, and they told me I was next up and they would be there soon. It's been two hours since then. Also, the Groupon value is MORE than the company regularly charges for an iPhone screen repair. Definitely do your homework before purchasing any sort of deal/discount offer from this service. Here's hoping they still show up... eventually. FOLLOW UP: I truly never write Yelp reviews, and I certainly do not write follow up reviews, but after the experience with this business, I had no choice. Per the above, I finally was able to connect with a customer service representative via the Phone Doctor website. My technician (the one who did not show up pre the above) was in a car accident, which is obviously unfortunate. That said, I would expect nothing less than the company contact all forward-looking customers waiting for said driver to alert them to the fact that the technician would no longer be able to show up. THANK GOD FOR JOE! Instead... I was asked by this really special customer service rep if I would rather resolve the situation or if I would like to continue slandering the business lol. A discontented customer expressing their frustration is not slander. Oy. Anyways... After an unnecessary amount of dramatic back and forth and being told I was being insensitive to the driver who was able to email his colleagues an hour before about this accident (he still would have been almost two hours later, btw), I finally got them to secure a technician who was over an hour away. He gave me a call and could not have been NICER! YAY JOE! But wait! 10 minutes later Joe called me again to let me know that he got a call from HQ telling him to not show up to my appointment (now almost 5 hours later) because I had written a Yelp review. No phone call to me. Just that Joe shouldn't come because they had found the above Yelp review. This place is fabulous only because of JOE. They ended up giving me a discount (well, a discount only if you consider the fact that their prices directly are less than their Groupons). So thanks. But really, get it together. Emotions seem to run high at this joint. Joe definitely needs a promotion. read more

Very quick, professional and nice. They fixed a severely cracked screen in my iPhone 7. Thank you!!

Great customer service! It's been a month and the phone (iphone 10) works great. Prompt service to my apartment. Thank you!

I took my moms iPhone to Phone Doctor Dc unfortunately they weren't able to fix it, but they have pickup service and drop off. The tech Jamar that came to my house was very courteous and efficient. He advised me all that was done and explained next steps. Though he did work on it, they only charged me the fee to come out. Furthermore explained what was wrong with the phone. Which was very minimal. I will be using them for my Mac soon. I'm giving the 4 Stars only because of the delay in updates. Otherwise great over all! I'd recommend them for sure! read more

Excellent, speedy, professional service from this team to repair my shattered iPhone screen. It was so easy to make the appointment online, they communicated by phone and text prior to meeting me punctually at the scheduled time, were very pleasant, and everything went smoothly. My screen was fixed in about 15 minutes. Would highly recommend them and would use them again (although I hope I don't need to!) read more

Good that he comes to you. But he switches up prices when comes to your house. His warranty one word is bogus too. Replace my better less than a month ago it's dead and swollen making my iPhone pop open. Hasn't covered the warranty. Took it to another iPhone repair store and they said screws wasn't tied and battery was missing vibrate board. read more

One BIG plus is 'mobile service'. They came to my job and fixed my phone while I was working. Technician arrived and replaced my iPhone 6 screen within 15 minutes, if not less. I would make note that the phone number listed on yelp and website did not work for me. I tried reaching them to push back appointment time. When I did get in contact via chat feature on their website, they were very accommodating with changing my service time. Overall, happy with experience and repair. I would recommend them. read more

Great customer service from Joe at the Phone Doctor DC! Like others, I needed a cracked iPhone (8) screen replaced and called around to several places. Joe had one of the cheapest prices, quickest turn-around times, and he comes to you - sign me up! And even though he couldn't fit me in the same day, I scheduled with him the following day. He showed up at my workplace on time, sat next to me & fixed my phone during an informal meeting I had forgotten about, and then helped me load an app so that I could pay him (after I fumbled around with the Apple Wallet app which I'd never used before). He was interesting to talk to and very professional - I highly recommend him. read more

Quick response, courteous and efficient service. I would highly recommend.

I chose Phone Doctor because they had the lowest estimate to replace my iPhone 6s screen in the area, and I'm so glad I did! Joe came and met me at a coffee shop near my workplace (in Greenbelt). The whole fix was completed in 10 minutes and my phone screen is good as new. Highly recommend! read more

I've had an iPhone now for awhile now and the screen was broken. I had been trying to find the best price and Groupon popped up. Not only was this an amazing deal but he also comes to you!!!! (Double Plus). The phone doctor arrived and quickly went to work. My phone was fixed in less than 30 mins and now looks like its brand new! I'll definitely use the doctor again! read more

The tech, Joe, met me at my office to fix my iPhone screen. He fixed it in 10 minutes! He was also very knowledgeable about the other repairs needed for my phone and offered to come back to fix them for me. The price was unbeatable especially considering they came to where I was (and earlier than expected!). Overall I had a great experience and will be reaching out again for additional phone repairs. Thank you, Joe! read more

My iPhone 5 slipped at work and the screen cracked! I scoured groupon for a good deal and also called a couple other places as well as 3 places in the mall. Phone doc was indeed the best deal with the best service. I bought a groupon at noon and by 4 pm Joe was at my doorstep! Quick incredible really... very personable gentleman and efficient! I will def use them again! ( although hope I don't need to.. ) Thank you Joe! read more

Thank you for fixing my phone! You fixed it quickly and now my phone is as good as new! I hope you have a great day.

- I requested multiple quotes and I chose this because it was in my area at the time. The manager called me and i asked him if they take cards, he told me yes. So anyways, I was a little sketchy because of the location. I understand businesses being cautious due to Covid. I felt a little uncomfortable of the location. It was in a building and I'm assuming that they have a unit in this building where they fix phones and such. I made an appointment and the time frame was between 3-4. I got there around 3:20pm. I went into this lobby. I was assuming that I was going into the shop with the two guys that greeted me. They asked for my info and they said it would be about 45 minutes. It was over an hour when I got my phone back. Before I was handed my phone I asked one of the guys I forgot his name, I asked him do you take cards. His answer was the credit card machine is down. That's where it went downhill. If I would have known the card system was down, I would have waited to get my phone fixed. I was paying with a credit card. So I had to get my mother to cash app this business and it was just real unfortunate. My mother was pretty sketchy because of the payment (being on cash app). My phone screen works and is back to normal. Thank you all very much for replacing my screen. They also gave me a screen protector, which was appreciated. Future advice to the manager; Asking the customer their form of payment, and letting them know that they will be outside and not inside while their phone is being fixed. Four stars for the two guys being patient with my mother lol and fixing my phone. read more

Dropped my phone over the weekend. Looked for a place to get it fixed close to my work and Phone Doctor DC had great reviews. Got a quote within 10 min and took phone to be repaired later in the day. Joe was very quick and did a phenomenal job. Highly recommend. Thanks a lot!! read more

Joe was super fast and did an excellent job fixing my S9+ screen. I would highly recommend for screen repair!

Very happy with this service. My phone works great. Much easier than going to the Apple store and way less expensive. Highly recommend.

I accidentally knocked my phone off of my nightstand in the middle of the night and it was completely destroyed. On top of that, I had a phone interview the next day at 1 pm, so I really needed to get my phone fixed ASAP. Thankfully the Phone Doctor DC was there to help. I made a reservation and within 30 minutes I was contacted by a member of the Phone Doctor DC team. We met up at 10:00 am, and my phone was fixed within 15 minutes at a local Starbucks. On top of the A++ service, the Phone Doctor DC team member was extremely personable, friendly, and professional. I would 100% recommend the Phone Doctor DC to all of my friends. Overall: Professional Service + Lightning quick repair + BELOW MARKET PRICES + flexible area of service = #1 Phone Repair Company in D.C. read more

Joe's a nice guy and he'll do what he can to help get your phone working again, unfortunately they use cheap parts and jerry rig the phone so that it works for a couple hours or days, but then always breaks again. Used them for a simple repair and it turned into a nightmare when my phone just kept getting worse. I wasn't even going to leave a review because I appreciated their willingness to keep fixing it, but now that it broke AGAIN I feel like I need to warn people to stay away. read more
