Excellent communication throughout the whole process keeping me informed. Kai also referred me to a roofer he trusts. **IF YOU WANT A CONTRACTOR- STAY AWAY FROM BINGHAM**…read more Where do I even start. After a water leak in my home, my insurance company dispatched Bingham Restoration for mitigation. Seemed fine at first--they showed up quickly, set up fans and dehumidifiers, and assured me everything would be handled through insurance. No estimate provided. No quote. Just "sign here, we'll work it out with your carrier." First red flag I ignored. **The Invoice Shock** When the invoice finally came? Over $9,000. For water mitigation. My insurance adjuster reviewed it and determined the work was worth around $4,600--roughly HALF of what Bingham billed. The adjuster spent weeks--WEEKS--asking Bingham for a simple line-item breakdown and photos to justify the extra charges. Their response? Crickets. My adjuster literally texted me: "Until they give me photos and explanations of what they are requesting, I can't do much." **The Threatening Emails** Once I pushed back, the billing department got aggressive. "Pay by end of day or we rescind all discounts." "This will go to our legal department." They threatened to put a LIEN on my house--except their lien rights had already expired under Washington state law. So they threatened me with something they legally couldn't even do. Classic intimidation tactic. **Accused ME of Fraud** Here's the kicker. I paid exactly what my insurance approved--sent a cashier's check for $4,602.95 with a letter stating it was payment in full per insurance determination. Their response? An email accusing me of "insurance fraud" and "trying to make money off an insurance claim." I paid every dollar my insurance said the work was worth, and somehow I'M the fraudster? The audacity. **Then Came Collections** After they CASHED my check, I got a call from a debt collector demanding $4,800. That number doesn't match their original invoice ($9,232), doesn't match their "discounted" amount ($7,900), doesn't match ANYTHING. It's like they just make up numbers. **Communication? What Communication?** Getting someone on the phone was nearly impossible. Their billing manager promised to call back--never did. When I finally got through, I was told different amounts by different people. The invoice amount changed at least three times. No consistency, no accountability, just threats and demands. **The Bottom Line** The actual mitigation work we had to get done through someone else. But dealing with this company's billing practices has been an absolute nightmare that's dragged on for months. They prey on the fact that you're stressed from water damage and just want it handled. They'll tell you whatever you want to hear to get equipment in your door, then bill your insurance for as much as possible--and come after YOU when the insurance company pushes back. Even if you're paying through insurance, get EVERYTHING in writing BEFORE they start work. Get a detailed estimate with line items. Don't make my mistake. Save yourself the headache. There are plenty of restoration companies out there that won't threaten you, accuse you of fraud, or send you to collections after cashing your check.

What an industry! I was up north with my family for the weekend and came home to standing water…read morethroughout the first floor of my house. My first call was to a plumber for help. Before the plumber even arrived, three different restoration companies showed up at my door. The strange part? I never called any of them and nobody told me anyone was coming out. I did overhear one of the technicians I allowed in for a "free evaluation" on speakerphone with the plumber asking if a $2,000 finder's fee sounded reasonable. I kept my mouth shut but it definitely raised some red flags. I listened to all three companies separately and then decided to do some serious research online. While some companies have plenty of glowing Google reviews, once you start looking at other sources like Yelp, the Arizona ROC, and the BBB, the picture can look very different. Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, take a breath, do your research, and call a company that focuses on integrity and quality work. For me, that company was ASAP Restoration.

Your efforts saved us more than 50% compared to other companies' estimates for the exact same scope of work something we're still amazed by. We truly value your commitment to excellence and integrity, and we look forward to working with you again in the future. Overall the best prices I could find for full house restoration service.

This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism, flexibility and high standards. Thanks to the ATH Team!

When we saw water damage behind the wall in our guest bathroom, our home warranty company sent out a random plumber. They looked at the wall and called a restoration company I knew nothing about. I did not receive a report. I was busy with work, and always had that itch in the back of my head telling me something is wrong. I felt lost in the process and dismissed like my little dainty woman brain wouldn't understand words such as "drywall". If my husband was meeting with a client and I was alone, I honestly didn't feel safe because I felt degraded by them. I'm the boss in literally every aspect of my life. I wouldn't let this happen to me in my professional life and I have never allowed it in my personal life. That's when I called Keith from EHS Restoration. When I contacted Keith on a weekend, EHS Restoration jumped into action. They took their time with me; they answered all my questions. They have been beyond communicative and respectful. They have been kind. They even referred a plumber that diagnosed the issue. Keith and Tony have been nothing but AMAZING. I can text Keith at any time. Tony always answers his phone. The estimator and other girls in the office are polite and professional. If your home warranty company or plumber sends out a restoration company. Fire them, then hire EHS Restoration.

When I contacted my insurance company to file a claim for a sewer line break under my manufactured home, they contacted Mike Tedder who immediately called me to make an appointment to assess the damage. He discovered that not only was shoddy repair work done by the plumber I originally hired, he also diagnosed a second sewer line break that the previous plumber charged me for but did not detect/repair. The break was not recent; consequently, there was ample evidence of the break that the original plumber should have detected. Additionally, there was water damage to the sub-floor in the first bathroom. Had Mike not found this and corrected it I would have had a much larger problem! As soon as Mike diagnosed the problems he immediately began the repair work which took several days and on two occasions he continued his work into the evening hours! Mike showed me how he diagnosed the problems and he communicated the repairs at each and every step. Mike is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to his work and to his customers. I cannot recommend Mike Tedder highly enough and I will definitely rely on him for any repairs in the future!!!
