This is the most caring and comfortable dental practice I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I have friends who dread the dentist, and I actually look forward to my appointments. They do a wonderful job of cleaning my teeth, but more importantly they care about me and my health. After more than ten years with the practice, I have never had a less than exceptional experience with Phoenix Dental Design. read more

I have been going to this office for over 20 years! Everyone in the office is awesome and friendly. Even when I lived in TX I ALWAYS had to make sure I got my teeth cleaned when I was in town to visit. Dr. Block is awesome, has the best bed side manner and personality. And i cannot forget Dr. Hilsabeck! She is awesome too - I have only seen her a few times when Dr. Block wqs not in the office. However, this is the only dental officer that I trust with my dental care and needs! Both dentists are honest and do not try to upsell you or recommend procedures that you do not need. If you are looking for a new dentist, definitely give Phoenix Dental Design a chance. I promise you will not be disappointed. read more

This is my favorite dental office of all time - and I've lived in 3 continents and 5 different states... The office staff is super friendly and helpful, dental hygienists, techs, and dentists are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Not only is this a great group of people who enjoy their work, they are also great at what they do and will spell out your options for you. Today I went in for a cleaning, but also had a small chip that needed repair. They could easily have scheduled another appointment for me to come back, however, they know I live far away and so stayed an extra 15 minutes on a Friday to fit me in. Best dental office ever. Look no further. read more

Everyone from beginning to end was fabulous. Shellie took my temperature before entering and was so kind. Jessica attentively listened to my dental concerns and made me feel at ease about the process during my consultation. Dr. Block was cordial and also did a phenomenal job about making me feel comfortable during my visit. Everyone was thorough and extremely friendly. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this a pleasant experience. read more

Dr. Block and his staff are the best! Great experience every time! Always leave their office smiling.

I really like coming here. I chose this location because it was close to my office, and now that I WFH 100% and this is 30 minutes away - I still come here. They are great, plus I actually laugh a lot with everyone which is so nice! Dr Bloch, Monica and Wendy are great! read more

Phoenix Dental Design is the best. Dr. Hilsabeck & Dr. Block are always looking out for my best interests. They are extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and provide long term care solutions; without trying to up-sell you like I've experienced at other dental offices. The staff/hygienist are also fantastic and personable. They all make you feel like part of the PDD Family! I've recommended them to multiple friends/colleagues and they all have shared the same positive experience. Plus they help support the community through charitable means. read more

Dr. Babits has been my dentist for the last ten years and our kids just started within the last year. He really knows what he is doing. I've never had any problems with his office. His staff is very good. The front desk always very friendly, smiling and always knows your name. They always greet you by name. They always call you the day before to confirm your appointment and it a real person calling not some automated voice message or an email but a real live person. I love that little personal touch. Makes me feel important. If they can't do the dental work like root canals then they will refer you to a good dentist that they trust and help make the appointment if you need it. The dental assistance are always friendly. I love this office and their staff. read more

Dr. Hilsabeck and Dr. Block are great. And Lindsey is a breath of fun fresh air every morning!

I have been going to PDD for 16-years. Let's be honest: your average person does not jump for joy when going to the dentist. Dr. Hilsabeck & Dr. Block are true professionals! They are incredibly kind, attentive, knowledgeable and patient (and so is everyone on their team). They serve the betterment of their client (or their teeth/smile) before themselves. I highly recommend them and their practice to anyone looking for a new dentist. read more

Front desk staff is always friendly. I usually have Kelly as my dental hygienist, but since she retired I've started seeing Mollie. She is very friendly and explains things in a detailed but easy to understand manner. Both dentists are friendly as well. I recently moved but will definitely keep coming to Phoenix Dental Design! Covid precautions are based on CDC recommendations and are easy to follow. read more

If you can handle the sarcastic, condescending and annoying voice of "Sherry" the front desk lady who answers the phone and wants to argue versus doing her job like scheduling appointment and answering questions, then this office might be a good fit. However you will also need to navigate around the bitchy attitude of Dr. Karin Hilsabeck and the inexperience and roughness of newbie dentist "Block". The only sunshine of this entire staff is the other lady who works the front desk "Leslie" and the No. 1 hygienist "Julie". God Bless and rest his sole, Dr. Edward Babits who ran this office up until his passing about 4 years ago. read more

Dr. Hilsabeck and her team are AMAZING! I have been going to them for years and I have recommended them to well over 15 friends. Neither myself or my friends have every been disappointed. The facility is beautiful and all of the staff is courteous and professional. Even though they only see me every 6 months, they always remember who I am and what is going on in my life (marriage, baby, etc.) They have little to no turnover, so they must be doing something right as a management team. Kudos! read more

Great dentists, great staff. I have been with this dental practice for over 20 years.

I recently switched dentists after 10 years and I have been simply thrilled by Dr. Hilsabeck and her courteous staff. I needed a front tooth veneer crown which involved multiple trips plus my need to bleach, acquiring the perfect shade. She explained each and every detail regarding this process, answering any questions along the way. The final result was fabulous and we even went outside to make sure the shade was a perfect match in the natural light, ensuring I was totally pleased, since it was my front tooth. Not an easy task. Going to the dentist is my least favorite thing to do.....but Dr. Hilsabeck makes it as palatable as possible. The office is beautiful, promoting a relaxed and comfortable ambiance, offering coffee and updated magazines prior to entering the examining chair. The rooms are super clean....well equipped with all the latest jazz which demonstrates a person who really cares about her patients. The office is terrific about informing you of the projected costs and places a reminder call either by text or voice regarding your upcoming visit. This is a well oiled operation, running on time as well. The only improvement I would add, is ensuring that the office staff be consistent in picking up their calls at 7:00 AM as stated on their website, which I believe has been addressed. Way to go! read more
