My father has fractured ribs and an ankle, after hours of trying to fix his car, which I own, on the side of the freeway- he finally realized there was no way he could repair it himself there. He was in incredible pain, and I brought him back to his apartment. It was 3am, and I requested quotes from half dozen tow companies here on Yelp... Alex got back to me within 5 MINUTES. He allowed me to pay for the tow over the phone from my house so dad wouldn't have to deal with that, and offered to text me when the car made it to my father's apartment. He was at the car in 30 min, car delivered within an hour, my father had accidentally dropped his cane outside of the car on the freeway- Alex searched for it, located it as well, and delivered the cane and car key to my father at his apartment door. He then texted me to let me know that everything was all right, just as he promised. This company is a more expensive tow, but the service was so stellar(!) I am glad I went with him instead of waiting for a lower quote. The next fastest response from any of the other tow companies was 3 HOURS, and the rest were almost 6 hours later! Also, though the kind highway patrol officer told us he would not flag us for towing, he most likely would have been off his shift by the time any of the other companies responded, and the car would have been towed to an impound lot where it would cost at least as much as I paid to get it out! If you're ever in need of a tow, this is the company to go through. The owner, Alex, absolutely saved my life today. I had about 20-30 quotes from what felt like the entire towing community of Phoenix and no one was willing to help without taking me for all I had. I was needing to tow my 1987 BMW 325i a couple miles down the road to get it emissions tested and then towed back home after that was complete. Everyone wanted to charge that as 2 trips, 1 for each direction because they couldn't be inconvenienced to sit there 10-15 minutes waiting for the test to be completed. But not Alex! He emailed me back with a quote in 5 minutes max and offered to take me there and back as well as wait for me outside of the building. Had he not offered to do so, I would have paid someone double or more for the same job. So yesterday we lined the pick up for today in the morning. He got my car loaded up in his flatbed in literally a minute. We drove to the place and he waited outside for about 20 minutes for me until I came out. We loaded it back up on the truck in only a minutes time again and headed back to my place. All in all we got everything down in under an hour. Complete lifesaver! If I ever need a tow for literally anything in the future, Alex is the person I'm calling. Anyone who reads this review should strongly consider doing the same! I needed my car towed to a repair shop and the tow truck the shop uses was going to be at least 4 to 5 hours before they could get to my vehicle so I decided to go online and check for tow trucks and started reading reviews on Yelp when I came across Alex. Usually when you call for a tow, you get some kind of voicemail to leave a message and they'll eventually respond... Not so when I called Phoenix Custom Towing, Alex answered, told him what I needed, he gave me a quote that was more than reasonable and said he'd be there in 15 minutes and he was! Not only did he arrive immediately but he is the nicest man I have met in a long time. Very professional yet made the whole process enjoyable. I rode with him to the shop to deliver my vehicle and we had the greatest conversation the whole way, we didn't skip a beat... How often does that happen! Not only was he there immediately, the quote he gave me was exactly what he charged me, and he even offered to give me a ride back instead of having to get an Uber. Now that's customer service! Keep in mind, I'm a single lady, and the whole situation is stressful in itself but he made it actually enjoyable! He will always be my go-to guy when I need a tow. First off amazing service! My mom got her car towed and it wasn't running we contacted Alex to see if he could pick her car up from the yard to tow to my house and he was fine with that. Then we get to the yard and they failed to tell us that the car got moved 30 minutes north super inconvenient but Alex was so willing to help us out and drive to the further location. He was so helpful and calm it was such a relief since the day was already so stressful. He even apologized about the "other" aka crappy towing company and their mess up. In December I looked online for a tow from a Triple AAA repair shop in Mesa, AZ to a shop in. downtown Mesa after my SUV's radiator had gone bad the day before. A Triple AAA member, I waited 3 hours for tow and recommended their shop for repair with competitive prices, which turned out to be untrue. Alex is a great! Unlike others towing companies he doesn't give you a attitude on the phone or tries to act all like this and that. He is patient, talkative if you keep talking to him hah, and he's a really great person in general. very polite. If you have a low car like mines only 2 inches off the ground he can get it up on the tow without scraping . This man takes car of your car and brings it fast to your destination all you do is give him a pick up location and drop off and he will do it no questions ask but he will give you a time to pick up . I am Not from here and did not know where I was By chance Phoenix Custom Towing was my first call. Alex not only picked up on the third ring but within 10 minutes he was driving with his rotator lights on so I could guild him to me. Because I managed to get under a highway with my overheated car. He found me.He uses a flat bed so He took the time to make sure would be clear from scrapping the front end of my car and put boards under my tires to lift up the front. Fantastic experience.!! ...after being jerked around by AAA for 2 hours I called several tow companies. Phoenix Custom Towing said they could be there in about 30 minutes and did exactly that. He was also meticulous about loading and unloading my car to make sure nothing got scratched, scuffed or damaged. Their prices were good too, a little less than the others. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again if need. I finally got a text from AAA 4 hours (yes, 4 hrs!!!) after I called them saying my tow truck was arriving. When my car broke down I had 2 hours to get my car to dealership. It was also 107 degrees outside. Every company I called was at least over 75 minutes out.
