I used Phoenix Car Inspection to go look at a Mustang I found on line. Joe was great to deal with. He scheduled my appointment and we let the Dealer know. Unfortunately there was a communication mixup with the dealership and I didn't have a deposit, and without us knowing sold the vehicle the night before. Joe arrived the next day and there was nothing to inspect. He let me know and offered to hold tight until I was sure I wasn't going to be able to use him. The following week the dealership said it was available again and I needed to put a deposit on it. I did and Joe went above and beyond to fit me in the schedule. The inspection he did was fantastic. After getting all the pictures and the report, I was able to contact the dealer and point out one major issue he found with the windows. The dealer fixed the issue once I sent them the pictures of the problem. I would have had to spend a couple of hundred to fix that locally. With Joe's Inspection, I felt comfortable with the purchase. The Vehicle arrived this week and we couldn't be happier! I'm still trying to find the marks Joe found, that is how good his inspection was (read I would have missed half of what he found). I am in Houston, TX and was interested in a car that was in Phoenix. I did a google search and found Phoenix Car Inspection. I had Joe inspect the car that I was considering. He did the inspection very promptly. He even went to the seller's place of business to do the inspection. He called me as soon as he completed his inspection and gave me a verbal summary of his findings. Within three hours, he e-mailed me his written report, along with a checklist report of all the major things that he inspected, plus a great number of high quality pictures, including pictures of the underside of the car. Joe was very knowledgeable, very competent and very professional. He responded quickly to several followup emails that I sent to him. We needed to purchase a car for our daughter in Tempe, while we live in Washington. Joe was incredible. We thought we found the right car until Joe inspected it and pointed out flaws that we were unaware of, saving us from making a big expensive mistake had we bought that car. I hated the thought of buying a car unseen, Joe put me at ease on the phone. He scheduled an app with the seller the next day and put the seller at ease. He spent over 1.5 hours with the car and then spent 45 minutes with me on the phone not only going over the good and not so good points of the car, but educating me on why he focused on the things he did because it was a 1969 limited production vehicle. Definitely call Joe before buying used. I spotted an ElCamino that I thought I needed. I called Joe and he went over the same day. Seller said he was there about 3 hours going through Elco with a fine tooth comb. Measured paint thickness (looking for Bondo), put car on hoist checked full under body, engine/tranny/rear end for leaks, drove the car, etc. Gave me 150point inspection & lots of pictures showing any discepancys. We were delighted by the thoroughness of our inspector. The dealer would not negotiate on price. But once he saw the report, the dealer did provide new tires (which paid for the cost of the report) and a detail job that buffed out all the surface scratches. Sadly, we did not heed the advice in the report regarding the age of the battery, and woke up on the 2nd day after purchasing the vehicle to a dead battery that needed to be jump started & then replaced! We would definitely use this service again & highly recommend it to others. read more
