It was clean, food was fresh and hot, and the service was pretty quick with drinks, the bill, and removing plates. They have tons of options which is great for a lunch buffet. Some of my faves were the lo mein, orange chicken, spring rolls, and fried doughnuts. I wish I tried other desserts because they looked so good but I was way too full! They also have an ice cream case full of flavors of hard scoop ice cream. The sushi was pretty good quality, I only tried "cooked" rolls. And these came with the best runny ranch. It was a huge portion to split between the two of us, so we had lots left over. Our sandwiches came out shortly after and looked amazing. They were super stacked with tons of meat! I really liked the addition of the grainy mustard which helped cut through the fattiness of the meat. My friend liked hers - it had pistachio butter and ricotta (similar to a delicious sandwich I ate at a wine bar in Detroit). Portions are large and it's a cozy, neighborhood spot. Found a hair in my salad and was comped 15% off the salad lol that didn't upset me as much as the server insinuating it was my own hair? That sent me over the edge. Even if I had thought that, I would've never said that to a paying customer. (Definitely was NOT my hair) Maybe he needs to be retrained before busy season!

The staff is generally very friendly but you do most of the ordering via ipad at the table. I think this format is a lot easier and more efficient for both servers and customers for the most part. The staff is very helpful explaining things and pretty quick at changing out grill pans. I have noticed recently that not all of the food will come out and some things may not ever arrive especially after the first 30 minutes or so. Be sure to notice what things come out more quickly and try to stick to those for the best value.

About 20 minutes after leaving, I realized I had forgotten my box and immediately called the restaurant to see if it was still there. The young lady who answered the phone asked where I had been seated. I explained that I was at the very first table at the front of the restaurant. Within seconds, she told me there was nothing there. Her tone made it clear that assisting me was not a priority. Given that the hostess stand is located at the back of the restaurant and I was seated at the front, I do not believe there was enough time for her to actually check before dismissing my concern. After I sent an email regarding the situation, the hostess responded that she had walked through the restaurant looking for the box. Based on the timing of our phone conversation, I find that difficult to believe. In her response, she also stated that she checked with the servers after our call had ended, which suggests that no real effort was made while I was on the phone. What is most disappointing is that I am a regular customer. Today, I paid $56.00 for lunch for myself and my business guest. Between a server who was largely absent throughout the meal and the dismissive interaction when I called about my forgotten food, the level of service fell far below what I have come to expect. Everyone has an occasional bad day, but customer service is often defined by how issues are handled after something goes wrong. In this case, I felt dismissed rather than helped. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I do not plan to return.
