Okay, so I'm constantly searching and looking for Vietnamese food that is authentic. This place is amazing. Various options like lo mein noodles, banh mi, spring rolls for vegetarians. They're working on a vegetarian version for the pho. They said it'll be a couple months before it's available since they're experimenting. The non-alcoholic drinks are fantastic. I tried six different kinds of non-alcoholic drinks that they were very kind to share. Loved the drinks that varied between extra sweet to not so sweet. I think I truly found my favorite tofu Banh mi in Louisville. They're freshly baked Bread is to die for. The baguette is perfect melt in the mouth and not chewy at all. I highly recommend getting this. The spring rolls were fantastic, but the peanut sauce stole the show. The lo mein was good just like any lo mein but was a healthier version with vegetables. Definitely coming back for the amazing warm owners and manager Kevin. They have only been open for 3 months but I truly hope they do very well so that they can stick around. Please go visit!

Never seen so much oil in a bowl of pho. The soup was so yellow from all the oil, when I mixed in sriracha, pho turned orange. Lol. I always try to support local restaurants, but this one.. not sure if I'll be back.

    Pho!

Amazing food, attentive and very pleasant staff, and clean chill restaurant that was easy to talk in. What else can you ask pho? 10/10 would recomend!

I googled "best Vietnamese in Louisville" and this place popped up. I have to say the food was…read moredelicious. I had the pho with shortribs and BWE ordered pho with beef. We had the fried tofu appetizer. The fried tofu came with a sweet chili sauce and was so good. When you bite into it there's a nice little crunch which is immediately met by the creamy interior (be careful it's hot!) and the flavor is amazing. The pho...oh my, the pho! The broth was full of flavor. The short ribs were tender. It was amazing! So...what's with the one star? I debated with myself on this but I had to give one star for the service. It was horrendous. We walked in and stood by the entrance for a good 10 minutes before anyone who worked there acknowledged us. We were finally seated, and, no lie, it took another 35 minutes before we got water (more on that in a minute). After we were seated, we knew exactly what we wanted so we closed our menus and waited...and waited...and waited...and waited. Thirty minutes after we sat down he finally took our order along with two other tables of two, who were seated well after we were (make it make sense). The two tables who came after us but ordered at the same time as us received their food a good 10 minutes before we did. I was beginning to think he didn't like us for some reason. I had no interaction with him. Didn't know him. So I don't know why he wouldn't like us. There was another couple who he seemed to know. He sat them quickly, took their order, and gave them their food--all in the span of about 20 minutes. Why was our service so bad? Needless to say--one star. If you don't mind horrible service...oh yeah, about that water. My water glass had something stuck to it. It was nasty! Should never have been given to a customer. Since we were, for the most part, being ignored, I had to walk over to him and ask if I could have a new glass. He mumbled "oh yea" and brought me a new one with a "sorry bout that" while he was walking away. Horrible service. If you don't mind horrible service, the food is great. I won't be going back.

The tofu was tasty, I wish the sauce was served in a bowl instead of underneath, because it was hard to fully coat. The entrées were packed with flavor, nothing was too strong or salty. Our waiter was friendly and answered all of our questions before we decided what to order. I will note, it was warm in the restaurant, not sure if the AC was working. Food was delicious, this is a place I look forward to returning.

First impressions: very clean facility, very warm and welcoming owner (Trieck was his name) and his adorable daughter doing homework by the cash register. He very kindly explained how he understands that vegetarian pho does not have meat And that he has the Buddhist version of the pho that his mom eats. I ordered to go because I wanted to run next door to their grocery section. I love me a good Vietnamese grocery store and products from all over the world. Pho is typically eaten at the establishment to make sure that the fix-ins and the method of consumption is 10 on 10 aka it does not hold very well when transported. I was happy to find that they had done such a great job packaging all the fixings and the soup. Very generous portions. I proceeded with the taste test. I have learned from my Vietnamese friends that you never add condiments to your soup right off the bat. You must savor the soup the way it is the first couple times to truly get all the flavors in before you start adding stuff . This was excellently seasoned broth base. The base was just perfect to me. After creating the whole experience at home, I can say I truly did enjoy eating pho from here. Good vegetarian phos are hard to come by and I will definitely return to try their other delicacies. If I had a couple words of wisdom, I think the soup could use a few more pieces of vegetables and tofu. But overall, I throughly enjoyed my meal and will return.

It was busy at lunchtime on a Friday. The cafe is so cute! Charmingly decorated. We ordered at the counter, took a table number and found our seats. One note about that: being a large person, the seats made me a little nervous. Next time i would opt for booth seating which looked a bit more substantial. Our entrees were brought out before our appetizers, but they looked so good I didn't even care. Couldn't wait to dig in. I had Pho Ga chicken noodle soup. It was served nice and hot with a bowl of raw herbs and add ins. Sprouts, fresh jalapeño slices, a lemon wedge etc. it was so delicious with complex flavors. I finished every drop. Appetizer was pork on a stick. Tender inside, crisp and sweet outside. Two skewers was plenty for us. My daughter had the lemon grass chicken with a fried egg. It looked great, she said it was very good. Our food was appealingly presented, and service was good. We each drank water and our bill was over $36. Not cheap for lunch but not outrageous and quality and portion sizes justified the cost. We will definitely return to try more menu items.
