    War sue gai with eggroll

Ordered carry out today from Annie's. Delicious and crisp war sue gai, eggroll, and crab Rangoon! Menu has a choice of Vietnamese and Chinese food.

This place is the BEST! I come here with my friends at least twice a month and the service is always perfect. The food is delicious and the ambiance is unmatched. I love the music they play and the chill vibe inside. I recommend getting the Pho.

I love this place! I've been working on a house in the area and this is my go to spot for lunch. I go once a week! I have always gotten the bun, which is the vermicelli noodles with fresh toppings like cilantro, cucumber, bean sprouts, peanuts and my go to meat choice, lemongrass pork and egg roll. I don't know what to say about it except it makes me so happy! Delicious! Light and refreshing! Healthy! Ambiance would suggest that it's a bit of a hole in the wall. Do NOT judge a book by its cover! Check it out!!

This place is better than Vietnam Kitchen! My sister called the day before to let them know we'd have about 40 people with us. They had set up the tables on Sunday for lunch when we arrived. This place doesn't get extremely busy, so it's a good place for large groups! I ordered B2, which was a vermicelli bowl with shrimp, a spring roll, pork, and other stuff. It was good! Prices are also better than at Vietnam Kitchen. Much more affordable and bang for your buck. Portions are reasonable. You'll end up taking some home! Everyone enjoyed their food. The staff did a good job accommodating for all of us. My only complaint was that some of us who ordered before others got their food last... I'd love to see them do a better job with this, but I understand that there were a lot of us. It's a large space though. It's a long room with tons of tables and booths. You pay at the register when you're ready. They also have parking out back. I'd come back again!

I have been coming here for several years and has never failed me! When I am sick it is not very often or it's extremely cold and snowy I like to get the chicken pho to go. They package the broth and the chicken in one separate container and the noodles bean sprouts different herbs slices of jalapeño and a lime wedge in a container so you can mix when you get home. I like to put everything in the bowl that she adds in the container the smell is amazing! Her herbs are very fresh and her chicken is perfection! I heard her say one time ...she starts cooking at 5 AM so that's the way you know that chicken does not sit around that broth is not greasy it's very thin and light I cannot say enough for this! If it's cold and you don't feel good or you just want some warm soup please try this.

    Vegetarian Pho - with Tofu

Annie's Cafe is a small local restaurant and though I live nearby, I never had the chance to check it out, which I can say I definitely regret. The restaurant showcases simple delicious food in a comfortable environment. I got the Vegetable Pho which I was super excited to try. Most places that sell Pho don't have a fully vegetarian version - but Annie's even included a vegetarian broth. The soup was heavy on the lemongrass and the tofu was melt in your mouth soft. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a classic, simple, and hearty meal for an affordable price! Will definitely be back.

First impressions: very clean facility, very warm and welcoming owner (Trieck was his name) and his adorable daughter doing homework by the cash register. He very kindly explained how he understands that vegetarian pho does not have meat And that he has the Buddhist version of the pho that his mom eats. I ordered to go because I wanted to run next door to their grocery section. I love me a good Vietnamese grocery store and products from all over the world. Pho is typically eaten at the establishment to make sure that the fix-ins and the method of consumption is 10 on 10 aka it does not hold very well when transported. I was happy to find that they had done such a great job packaging all the fixings and the soup. Very generous portions. I proceeded with the taste test. I have learned from my Vietnamese friends that you never add condiments to your soup right off the bat. You must savor the soup the way it is the first couple times to truly get all the flavors in before you start adding stuff . This was excellently seasoned broth base. The base was just perfect to me. After creating the whole experience at home, I can say I truly did enjoy eating pho from here. Good vegetarian phos are hard to come by and I will definitely return to try their other delicacies. If I had a couple words of wisdom, I think the soup could use a few more pieces of vegetables and tofu. But overall, I throughly enjoyed my meal and will return.

Food was ok and the portions were too small for the cost. Ambiance is dated. Just disappointedread more

It was busy at lunchtime on a Friday. The cafe is so cute! Charmingly decorated. We ordered at the counter, took a table number and found our seats. One note about that: being a large person, the seats made me a little nervous. Next time i would opt for booth seating which looked a bit more substantial. Our entrees were brought out before our appetizers, but they looked so good I didn't even care. Couldn't wait to dig in. I had Pho Ga chicken noodle soup. It was served nice and hot with a bowl of raw herbs and add ins. Sprouts, fresh jalapeño slices, a lemon wedge etc. it was so delicious with complex flavors. I finished every drop. Appetizer was pork on a stick. Tender inside, crisp and sweet outside. Two skewers was plenty for us. My daughter had the lemon grass chicken with a fried egg. It looked great, she said it was very good. Our food was appealingly presented, and service was good. We each drank water and our bill was over $36. Not cheap for lunch but not outrageous and quality and portion sizes justified the cost. We will definitely return to try more menu items.

I tried their pork chop rice plate (com dac biet). It was very yummy. I really don't have any complaints about it. I also ordered a side of soup with mine, which was an additional $2. Their soup had a very nice flavor so I know I would've liked their pho had I had gotten it. The rice plate came with an egg, which was cooked perfectly. It was a nice crisp on the bottom and slightly runny on the top. The egg meatloaf was also pretty good. In all, I didn't have a bad experience. I would probably come back here again if I were in the area.

The grilled pork was good, but it needd a bit more seasonings (fish sauce, lemongrass). This dish needs to have lettuce and tomatoes as well. This was decent, but the price was a few dollars too high. I ordered the Bún bò Huế to go. This was decent as well. However, the both needs more seansonings (lemongrass, fish sauce, salt, sugar, hot pepper, shrimp paste). The broth was a bit bland to me. It's missing the pork hock. The beef, and the Chả lụa in the soup were perfect. Bún bò Huế is supposed to be spicy, and this one is not spicy at all. The price was a few dollars too high a well.
