Would love to come back and try more items off their menu!

They are also BYOB to allow a real "nhậu" experience. We had lots of lounge food including the chân gà nướng muối ớt (crispy chicken feet), gỏi bắp bò (beef salad), nghêu nướng mỡ hành (grilled top neck clams), ốc nhảy hấp sả gừng (steamed lemongrass ginger whelk), and more. The crispy chicken feet was a huge hit. It had the perfect crisp and was spicy, salty, and sweet (personally, this is my holy trinity of flavors). I think this would be a great way to introduce chicken feet to people who haven't had it before. The beef salad was super refreshing, and I appreciated the copious amounts of beef and different vegetables, especially banana blossom. I've had chicken in this type of salad growing up but this tender beef is a game changer. Everything else was great but those were the highlights for me. The staff is very lovely and they made sure we were taken care of. The whole restaurant is modernized and clean. I highly recommend trying DVR whether you're looking for a classic Vietnamese meal or wanting to tap into the lounge experience.

Pho is phenomenal here !! The broth has such depth and the bones add great umami. I always get the…read morespecial pho with everything. My favorite is the beef bone they give you with super tender meat. FYI for those not familiar : it's perfectly normal for your pho to come with raw beef in takeout orders. You will have to boil the broth and cook the meat. This is to keep it tender. If they precook it, the texture of eye of round beef will get tougher if not eaten immediately. Same deal for the noodles. If you want the best texture, ask them for raw noodles when you takeout. This way, it won't be already boiled and a bit more soggy during transport. Pro tip : cook your noodles and meat in a pot with just boiling water. This way, you're not using the broth to cook and mess up the taste and texture of the broth. Great service, very fast and efficient. Staff are all proficient in English. This might sound trivial, but they got large thick napkins. It adds to the experience. I hate those quick casual eateries that has the 1 ply napkins that rip as you pull it out of the box. When you know you've made it to their inner circle : They whip out the CAROUSEL OF CHILLIES. A caddy of 3-4 super hot peppers. Habaneros, jalapeños, Thai red chillies, etc. If they automatically bring it out for you, it possibly can mean : You look worldly and travel a lot to develop a taste for heat. They can sense your crayyy energy. Congrats !

Actually this strip mall has been there awhile and is right across Kings Highway from Kingston Estates, where I grew up. We ordered two staple dishes for us, Pho and the Vermicelli Bowl. This was also very good and we really liked the ingredients and sauce. I only wish they had a Vermicelli special option as some other Vietnamese restaurants have. The spring roll was very good but slightly small. The interior is nice and service was good. We would return to try out the menu further.

The menu was typical Thai cuisine and we started off with the Papaya Salad with peanuts, followed by the Tom Yum soup. The main course consisted of the Kang Phed Ped Duck and Pineapple Fried Rice. The meal was certainly filling and while good, I can't say it was anything that I couldn't taste or get from other Thai restaurants. Perhaps I need to try other dishes. Overall however, this is a decent Thai restaurant to try with friends or a date. It's probably one of the better restaurant choices in this area. The scallion pancakes were nice and crispy. The dishes all possessed very traditional Cantonese Chinese flavors!
