This place is now my go-to pho spot. Ordering to-go is super quick and hassle-free. Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable for what you receive. The pho meatballs are my favorite. The broth is fantastic. And to top it all off... there is no MSG added whatsoever. That is a huge win in my book. And proof that a restaurant doesn't need to add fake chemicals to flavor something. If you have good cooks who know how to concoct good recipes like Pho 9 does, you can't go wrong. The only challenge here is that the parking lot is rather small and tough to access, depending on which way you're entering from the main road. But it is well worth your visit if you're looking for affordable, quality pho in the area. read more

We ordered the following: 1) Pho Tai Chin (Eye Round, Well-done Brisket) - The noodle was average in texture, broth has flavor but not enough, and included meat was also average in quality 2) Summer Rolls - This was fine/average 3) Pho Xao with Beef (Soft Rice Noodle) - This was also fine/average I live in California Bay Area where I have easy access to good Vietnamese and Thai food. While Pho 9 might be above average where it is located, it is below average for what I have access to. read more

We really enjoyed our experience at Pho 9! While in the area doing some shopping, we stopped in for lunch. There was plenty of options and included a vegetable broth, which is very important to us since we are not a eating family. We enjoyed the fish ball pho with vegetable broth as well as the fresh veggies I came on the side. We liked it so much that we got another serving to go home and want to come back and try more of their menu. Stumbled upon this place because it was snowing and we wanted pho. We were from out of town and looked for a place that was on our route. I judge pho spots based on their broth and this broth was on point. I don't like adding hoisin or siracha to my broth and didn't have to. I added some chili oil and it was perfect. They did put a little too much meat, and excessive amounts of tendon, which I did order but it was too much for my liking. Service was good, quick, and friendly. In the area and did a quick Yelp search for a good pho spot and the reviewers were right. Walked in and was immediately seated where I wanted. I ordered my favorite: spring rolls for an appetizer, chicken pho with beef broth, and a ginger ale. In no time, the staff brought out the appetizer and gave the right amount of time before bringing out the soup. Everything was good, especially the yummy broth. Always on the hunt for a solid Pho place. Pho9 did not disappoint! Service was solid and the place was hoping with diners eating in and pick up orders one after the other. Very clean and bright restaurant. I ordered their grilled pork Banha Mi and a brisket bowl of Pho. The have a free Oder of shrimp spring rolls, which were fresh, crunchy and chewy all at once. The pho was as usual a large bowl and while I've had richer more complex broths. I found theirs to be lighter but very flavorful. The Banha Mi was delicious! Overall rock solid if I lived here, I would be a regular! On a closing note, the richest Vietnamese coffee Ive ever had. Had to get one for the road. read more

I've been trying many of the different pho places around the area. I would have to say one of my favorites would be Pho 9 in cherry hill. Dined in the first time to doing takeout order other times. Every single time, it's been just as good, rich savory broth flavor to the perfect balance of meats and noodles. Our quest for the perfect pho in South Jersey continues. We've been going to different pho spots all across South Jersey. This is our 4th spot and it's average. Pho broth is decent but a little bland. What's weird is that they don't have fish sauce and soy sauce on the table but will give it if you ask. What's also weird is that their fish sauce is not typical fish sauce you would use in Pho - theirs was thick, like sugar was in it. Anyway, I ordered plain pho with half chicken on the side. It's was good. It fulfilled my hunger for pho. My husband ordered the beef special pho and it was bland. My daughter ordered broken rice special and she liked it. Their iced coffee was horrible. You can tell it was artificial, made with powdered coffee. I don't know what's going on with Pho spots in South Jersey not making the traditional drip coffee with condensed milk. The customer service was amazing. Very friendly people. So I might give it another try but order something different. read more

Someone pinch me. I have gone to 2 Vietnamese restaurants recently and haven't got pho. Am I okay? Pho 9 - Cherry Hill I got the Kings Wings, which comes on a bed of sautéed peppers and onions. Comes with a sweet dipping sauce, which I, of course, mixed in a ton of chili crisp and oil. Nicely fried wings, meat was juicy and slid right off the bone. I also enjoyed the crunchy breading. In addition to the wings, I got the Grilled Beef Banh Mi. The beef was very nicely seasoned and flavorful. The veggies on top were fresh and tasty. My only criticism is I would like a harder shell on the roll. The outside had some crunch, but I personally would like just a little more crunch. It was very satisfying nonetheless read more

Pro: Same great food I expected, plus Bahn Mi! After years of patronage to their additional branch in Mt. Laurel, I decided to give the Cherry Hill option a try. Not only did they knock the flavors out of the park (as expected), they surprised me with a delight in sandwich form. They have bahn mi!!! A crisp French bread housing some marinated meats, pickled veggies, and fresh herbs? Please and thank you! Con: Now I have to drive to Cherry Hill for a bahn mi fix. Oh well.... First time to this location as I've visited the location in Mt. Laurel and always loved the food. We ordered a seafood pho, a shrimp pho, and a shrimp pad Thai. The seafood pho contained 3 medium sized shrimps, 2 scallops, 3 pieces of squid, and 3 fish balls, and of course the rice noodles. The broth was a bit bland and really didn't have the seafood flavor I expected. The shrimp pho was the same broth but with 5 shrimps and no other seafood. The shrimp pad Thai was the shining star here. The portion was huge and the flavor was delicious. The odd thing about this meal was that all of the utensils and dishes except the chopsticks were plastic. I didn't even know they made flimsy plastic soup spoons like this. My guess is that they were stocked up on plastic wear due to some prior covid restrictions but nonetheless it really cheapened the experience. read more

Two of our favorite Vietnamese places in south jersey went downhill in recent months so when my mom suggested we give this place a try I was skeptical. It's an easy to spot location right on Haddonfield rd. Nice, clean typical pho restaurant. The service was not bad, nothing outstanding or noteworthy. We started off with the summer rolls. It's basically just iceberg lettuce and like one and a half shrimps rolled in rice paper. Whoever made the peanut sauce should be ashamed. It was a weird pasty mess. No amount of sriracha was saving it. It was not a good start, but it did turn around when our noodle dishes came out. I got pho with beef meatballs and brisket (my go-to since childhood) and my mom got "spicy noodle soup" which was really bun bo hue with just two different cuts of beef, no pork stuff. Both broths were nice, decent restaurants quality broths. Something you'd find in south Philly, but unlike south Philly they didn't skimp on the noodles. Will definitely be back, will skip the appetizer though and definitely try the rice and vermicelli dishes next. read more

This review is based on the food and not the beautiful customer service... Let's start with a high note... Good customer service goes a long way... Especially, when your ordering take out and your really focused on the food... I came in and had a really nice conversation with one of the female staff... Side Note- She could see I was a Yelper, because I took pics and she never left my side, so it was definitely obvious... However, she explained the pho making process they had... and it was just an overall good conversation... On to the vittles... Summer Rolls/ Shrimp- Just completely lacking in any flavor... The entire roll was extremely fresh but I felt like I was just chewing to swallow and if it wasn't for the peanut sauce, I would have thrown them away... Chicken Satay- This was definitely a good choice, as it was tasty but a bit on the smaller side, for skewers in the area... Beef up the chicken, on the skewer, and you have a winner.. Peanut Sauce- They definitely have gotten this right and this is extremely important in a Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered extra for my food and I was very happy... Pho/ Seafood- Ok, so the seafood was very fresh and so were all the veggies... The broth is really, just ok, when you put the dish all together... but on it's own, it's very tasty... Once again, I feel like there is something overall lacking in the entire dish and I was disappointed... Also, I didn't get any sauces to go with the Pho, and I'm sure that may have contributed to my overall experience... Fresh Coconut water- 5 stars!!! I luv a good coconut water and they claim they make it fresh... However, 100% coconut water has a natural sweetness and this concoction was more of a 85% with added sweetness... I'm not complaining because I prefer a sweeter coconut water and those huge chunk's of coconut at the bottom was heaven... But if your charging $5.99 a cup... Keep it all the way real!!! I am not an expert in Vietnamese food, however, I just know what I like... Something was lacking in the flavor department, for me and to be honest, the prices are a little high for the area but I digress... Craving some hot soup on this cold, rainy night so the family wanted Vietnamese. I have been to the Mt. Laurel location before so I knew their menu. We started off with the summer rolls accompanied with the familiar delicious peanut sauce. I had hoped for more shrimp inside the two rolls but that sauce more than made up for it. So good we spooned every drop of sauce onto each bite. Next we ordered the wonton soup for $9.99. Their soup only comes in one size which is pretty large. There were probably 15 wontons in the bowl, more than enough to share between 3 people. Their wontons are encased in thin delicate skin, not at all like the Americanized Chinese wontons. Our final order was the grilled pork with vermicelli and a small egg roll. Full of flavor and nice sized portion, easily split for 2 people. I am happy to report that they had no problem giving us extra small bowls and plates so we could split up each item. We will return again. read more

Not your divey cheap pho shop. Prices here were higher than I expected so keep that in mind. First off, we ordered the crispy spring rolls. OMG - hands down among the very best I've ever had. There were only four rolls in the order for $9, so that was quite a splurge. We split a grilled pork dish, which was also very good. For $14, the platter came with perfect jasmine rice topped with a fried egg, but also a small fresh salad (delightful with the provided sauce) and what was described as a crab meatloaf? Not sure what it was, but it was warm and tasty. Located across from Wegmans, this parking lot can be a little tough to enter or exit, so take your time. read more

I got really thirsty at home, which leads me to suspect MSG is used abundantly in the soup. The rice noodles was still bunched up in the soup bowl and I had to use the chopsticks to spread them out.
