Phở áp chảo is interesting: it seems like multiple pieces of noodles are attached and then deep fry, outside is crunchy while inside is chewy. I like the texture but my teeth does get a bit tiered from chewing this toward the end, maybe cutting it to smaller pieces would be better. I don't like the sauce tho, it is a little too sour for this dish.
overall 3.5 stars. they serve pandan tea which is an awesome plus, but otherwise the pho and bbq were a little plain which not much flavor depth
This Northern Vietnamese restaurant is such a gem. Everything we tried was delicious and well balanced. The flavors are on the lighter side, which I really enjoyed, nothing too heavy or overpowering, just clean and comforting. The crowd favorite for a reason is the special shredded chicken over sticky rice. It's so good and definitely a must-order. On top of that, the service is excellent and very attentive. If you like authentic Northern Vietnamese food with subtle, comforting flavors, this place is worth a visit. I'll definitely be back!
The menu here is extensive but we wanted Pho. I ordered the fresh bone-in chicken pho. It had decent flavor but was a little bland. The dip that came with it wasn't what I was used to. My husband ordered the Special Pho and he said that had very good flavor. He didn't even need to add fish sauce. My favorite items were the fried spring rolls and iced coffee (I give those 5 stars). Because we went during lunch, we received a complimentary lemonade, which was delicious! The service and ambiance were great.

Food is delicious, staff are attentive, and decor is just the right amount of cheesy/tacky complete with a looping video of Vietnamese food on one TV and looping video of new years celebrations around the world that makes a heart fond. Favorites: banh cuon thit Ha Noi (steamed rice pancake with grilled pork), cha gio (summer roll), Goi cuon thit nuong (summer roll with grilled pork), hu tieu xao chay (stir fried rice noodle with tofu and mixed vegetables), Bo Luc Lac (diced filet mignon sautéed with bell peppers and onion on sizzling plate), Com chien suon nuong (grilled pork chop with fried rice).

Soooo good. They add lemon to their water which I thought was a nice touch. Don't even need to ask for it. I loved their plates. The larger portions were served on plates that were blue with orange/brown accented edges and leaf shaped. I got the tofu Bah Mi. It was delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted. The sauce they throw on there was really good. Tofu was a little crisp. I love it that way. With my meal I got a Vietnamese coffee. Which at a lot of places is pretty sweet. This one was very flavorful and you could really taste the coffee. This is how it's done right in my opinion. Not the overpowering sweetness at other joints. My wife got a dish that was a spring roll and shrimp on top of noodles and vegetables. She didn't know what it was but the menu had photos. It was a wonderful choice. Really enjoyed this place. 10/10 would revisit.

Having Vietnamese scenery photos hanging around makes me miss my country a lot. - Food: As a Vietnamese myself, this place serves a very signature and authentic North Vietnamese dishes that it's hard to find here in New Jersey. We tried a lot of dishes here but my favorite are Bun Cha, Xoi Xeo Goi Ga (Stick Rice with Chicken Salad), and Bun Dau Mam Tom. The fish sauce or shrimp paste sauce are all so good and go really well with their dishes. Everything came out fresh and delicious. Their portion is quite big too. I just really love this place. Wish it could be a bit closer to me so I can come there to eat more often. It's in a strip mall so plenty of parking space.
The service was very fast and friendly! We shared the shrimp spring rolls which were excellent with the sauce and had grilled beef pho. Both were delicious and fresh.
It is very cozy and inviting and the workers are extremely nice, friendly, welcoming! The foods even look better in person. Definitely worth going to for a relaxing dine out.
We went twice in a week because it was that good!!! It's a new restaurant so be patient with the staff! I hope it stays consistently good! We had a few items: Nem (spring rolls) 4/5 Shrimp summer rolls 3/5 (nothing special) Mien ga 3/5 (nothing special) However... all their Hanoi dishes! Love them. My favorites are the bun cha Hanoi and the xoi xeo ga!!! Their smoothies are good too! We will update as we try more... definitely want to try their rice platters and vermicelli bowls next time!
Stopped here after a target run. New to the shopping center wasn't crowded. They were very friendly when we arrived and gave us time to browse the menu. We opted for spring rolls to start . We also ordered the soft noodle with beef which came with Bok choy , carrots , onions and broccoli. I did add some sriracha sauce for some heat otherwise good. The vermicelli came destructed with some fish sauce broth to add. Good portion size , food hot , service good. We didn't get Spring rolls until after meal was served but still enjoyed. They have large drink selection and bubble teas. Worth a try. All in 68.00 with gratuity.

Greeted by a rather large shrine (for a restaurant) ; The aesthetic of this place is thoughtful and classy with the artwork and decoration, Chandelier lights...and the thoughtfulness and quality of the chinaware they use. The food. Large portions, with amazing quality. Everything is a better version than most and common place Vietnamese places I've eaten in the area. Do yourself a favor and go. Worth the $$. Keep up the good work at Hanoi service was great and the chef came out, said hello and is very courteous :)

SO. GOOD. No exaggeration- best pho I've ever had. We came on Friday and I thought about the pho chin every day since, so we came back this Sunday. Just as heavenly as the first time. Service is excellent & everyone is so kind. Super cute inside and the booths are very comfy. 10/10 come here or you're missing out. read more
The restaurant and staff is very homey. The staff are constantly visiting and interacting and ensure that everything's alright! The food was delicious. They seem to focus on aromatics rather than a more meaty flavor for the bun bo hue and pho. The amount of meat provided in every dish was plentiful but in comparison they seemed to short on the amount of noodles, which gets a 4/5 from me. read more

There are lots of places that serve Vietnamese food in Camden County and Philly. But this is one of the very few that does Northern style dishes and does it really, really well. I don't normally like pho but this place changes everything. You need to try the pho tai lan. Incredibly good. Balanced. Not too Salty despite having juicy stir fried beef. A must try. Their bun dau mam tom, bun cha Hanoi and com ga Hanoi are also delicious. Everything is always fresh. If you've never tried these, try the bun cha - beef with noodles. Mix them into a bite for a mouth explosion. Delicious. Service is always friendly and welcoming. Plenty of space for a date or your extended family. We love this place. read more

Hanoi is a true hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping into a family meal--warm, welcoming, and full of heart. Stephanie, our waitress, was incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. I even had to ask how to eat a few of the dishes just to make sure I was experiencing them the way they were meant to be enjoyed--and she was more than happy to guide me. The food was incredibly authentic and flavorful--every single person in our party loved their meal. Honestly, I'd make the drive again just for the ambience and the people alone. The fact that the food was also outstanding? That's just the icing on the cake. Highly recommend! read more

I would give this place 10 stars if I could we're here from out of town visiting family we yelped a good place to go decided to give this one a try. The food is outstanding. The service is incredible. The place is immaculate clean and the owner herself can be seen here packing up our food to go. If I was a local I'd come at least once a week from being out of town. I will certainly come every chance I get to come to New Jersey. read more

This is a hidden gem! I didn't expect to find authentic Northern Vietnamese food here but this blew my mind. Exactly like the foods you would get in Vietnam. Portions are huge, enough to feed 2 of us for lunch and dinner. Ambiance is cozy and service is attentive. read more

Beautiful new restaurant with huge portions and friendly staff. The owner came out to check on us and asked for our opinions on our food. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. She had the gorgeous condiment platters shipped from Vietnam. She also thanked us for trying them out and sent us home with one of her pho recipes she was trying to perfect at no charge. read more

i come here a lot with my friend to get drinks, and this was our first time eating here! For starters, the people here are always so nice, and don't mind us at all. they always have calm music playing on the tv, and just had a very cozy atmosphere. the food here is amazing, and i would definitely eat here again. read more

Easily my favorite new restaurant in the area. Their grilled beef is to die for. Their summer rolls are incredible. The best Bahn Mi I have ever had. Everything we've ordered here has been impossibly fresh and totally delicious. Hanoi Cuisine has been open around a month and my wife and I have gone there at least ten times. The restaurant is clean, the staff is super friendly and non-intrusive, and their portion sizes are moderately priced and more than worth the money. A total home run! read more

First off, I would like to say the owner is a great person. She is very welcoming when it comes to the customers and how we like their food. I also ordered their pho, but forgot to take a photo! Everything was absolutely delicious. I came from South Philly just to eat here and it didn't disappoint! Plus, they have a free dessert at the end. A yummy treat to finish off the meal. read more

This restaurant truly lives up to its name, offering an authentic taste of Hanoi right here in South Jersey. The flavors are rich, traditional, and distinct--just like you'd find in Northern Vietnam. I haven't come across another spot in the area that does Hanoi's cuisine this well. Highly recommended! read more
