Fried spring roll
Nary K.

The menu here is extensive but we wanted Pho. I ordered the fresh bone-in chicken pho. It had decent flavor but was a little bland. The dip that came with it wasn't what I was used to. My husband ordered the Special Pho and he said that had very good flavor. He didn't even need to add fish sauce. My favorite items were the fried spring rolls and iced coffee (I give those 5 stars). Because we went during lunch, we received a complimentary lemonade, which was delicious! The service and ambiance were great.

obsessed with this place. The menu is extensive. Food is delicious, staff are attentive, and decor is just the right amount of cheesy/tacky complete with a looping video of Vietnamese food on one TV and looping video of new years celebrations around the world that makes a heart fond. Favorites: banh cuon thit Ha Noi (steamed rice pancake with grilled pork), cha gio (summer roll), Goi cuon thit nuong (summer roll with grilled pork), hu tieu xao chay (stir fried rice noodle with tofu and mixed vegetables), Bo Luc Lac (diced filet mignon sautéed with bell peppers and onion on sizzling plate), Com chien suon nuong (grilled pork chop with fried rice).

Crispy spring rolls

Food here is delicious and my fav all time is the crispy spring rolls! Price is super reasonable with fast service and they are very friendly. The place is clean, spacious, I come here for lunch several times still liking the taste and everything else.

- Service: Fast, friendly, and attentive staff. - Ambiance: Cozy, clean, and nice restaurant. It just reminds me of a family-owned restaurant which they are! Having Vietnamese scenery photos hanging around makes me miss my country a lot. - Food: As a Vietnamese myself, this place serves a very signature and authentic North Vietnamese dishes that it's hard to find here in New Jersey. We tried a lot of dishes here but my favorite are Bun Cha, Xoi Xeo Goi Ga (Stick Rice with Chicken Salad), and Bun Dau Mam Tom. The fish sauce or shrimp paste sauce are all so good and go really well with their dishes. Everything came out fresh and delicious. Their portion is quite big too. I just really love this place. Wish it could be a bit closer to me so I can come there to eat more often. It's in a strip mall so plenty of parking space.

Soooo good. They add lemon to their water which I thought was a nice touch. Don't even need to ask for it. I loved their plates. The larger portions were served on plates that were blue with orange/brown accented edges and leaf shaped. I got the tofu Bah Mi. It was delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted. The sauce they throw on there was really good. Tofu was a little crisp. I love it that way. With my meal I got a Vietnamese coffee. Which at a lot of places is pretty sweet. This one was very flavorful and you could really taste the coffee. This is how it's done right in my opinion. Not the overpowering sweetness at other joints. My wife got a dish that was a spring roll and shrimp on top of noodles and vegetables. She didn't know what it was but the menu had photos. It was a wonderful choice. Really enjoyed this place. 10/10 would revisit.

Pho taste is still good but disapppointed they cut the beef wrong, not against the grain. I don't understand how the chef could make such a mistake.

It is very cozy and inviting and the workers are extremely nice, friendly, welcoming! The foods even look better in person. Definitely worth going to for a relaxing dine out.

The service was very fast and friendly! We shared the shrimp spring rolls which were excellent with the sauce and had grilled beef pho. Both were delicious and fresh.

Stopped here after a target run. New to the shopping center wasn't crowded. They were very friendly when we arrived and gave us time to browse the menu. We opted for spring rolls to start . We also ordered the soft noodle with beef which came with Bok choy , carrots , onions and broccoli. I did add some sriracha sauce for some heat otherwise good. The vermicelli came destructed with some fish sauce broth to add. Good portion size , food hot , service good. We didn't get Spring rolls until after meal was served but still enjoyed. They have large drink selection and bubble teas. Worth a try. All in 68.00 with gratuity.

We went twice in a week because it was that good!!! It's a new restaurant so be patient with the staff! I hope it stays consistently good! We had a few items: Nem (spring rolls) 4/5 Shrimp summer rolls 3/5 (nothing special) Mien ga 3/5 (nothing special) However... all their Hanoi dishes! Love them. My favorites are the bun cha Hanoi and the xoi xeo ga!!! Their smoothies are good too! We will update as we try more... definitely want to try their rice platters and vermicelli bowls next time!

My 2nd time here and I'm ashamed of myself that it took so long to come back. It was like eating here for the first time though. So, so good! Greeted by a rather large shrine (for a restaurant) ; The aesthetic of this place is thoughtful and classy with the artwork and decoration, Chandelier lights...and the thoughtfulness and quality of the chinaware they use. The food. Large portions, with amazing quality. Everything is a better version than most and common place Vietnamese places I've eaten in the area. Do yourself a favor and go. Worth the $$. Keep up the good work at Hanoi service was great and the chef came out, said hello and is very courteous :)

There are lots of places that serve Vietnamese food in Camden County and Philly. But this is one of the very few that does Northern style dishes and does it really, really well. I don't normally like pho but this place changes everything. You need to try the pho tai lan. Incredibly good. Balanced. Not too Salty despite having juicy stir fried beef. A must try. Their bun dau mam tom, bun cha Hanoi and com ga Hanoi are also delicious. Everything is always fresh. If you've never tried these, try the bun cha - beef with noodles. Mix them into a bite for a mouth explosion. Delicious. Service is always friendly and welcoming. Plenty of space for a date or your extended family. We love this place.

Hanoi is a true hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping into a family meal--warm, welcoming, and full of heart. Stephanie, our waitress, was incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. I even had to ask how to eat a few of the dishes just to make sure I was experiencing them the way they were meant to be enjoyed--and she was more than happy to guide me. The food was incredibly authentic and flavorful--every single person in our party loved their meal. Honestly, I'd make the drive again just for the ambience and the people alone. The fact that the food was also outstanding? That's just the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

The ambiance was really nice, when you walk in, you can clearly see that this is indeed a lounge and bar. The restaurant was quite empty, which is very fair considering that it probably gets busier during the night given that it's a lounge and bar too. I found the service to be amazing, for some context I'm normally a struggler with chopsticks, but I like to use them anyways and one of the servers came up to me and taught me how to properly use chopsticks which is something I've never seen before. That's why I found the service to be amazing and eventually I was offered a fork which was also quite nice. The food was also pretty good, I got the House Special Pho and unfortunately I do not have an image of the soup but I've had Pho at various places and they don't mess up Pho, this place was no exception. The broth was pretty nice and overall I found that to be solid. I would definitely come to this spot again, maybe during their night hours and with friends considering this seems like a night spot in my opinion. Check this place out if you want pretty good service and food!

We had the honor of meeting Thanh, a true queen of her craft, whose warmth and dedication are as inspiring as the food itself. Staff were nice and attentive. I got classic beef pho because I was feeling under the weather. I was pleased with the portion size! Would love to come back and try more items off their menu!

They are also BYOB to allow a real "nhậu" experience. We had lots of lounge food including the chân gà nướng muối ớt (crispy chicken feet), gỏi bắp bò (beef salad), nghêu nướng mỡ hành (grilled top neck clams), ốc nhảy hấp sả gừng (steamed lemongrass ginger whelk), and more. The crispy chicken feet was a huge hit. It had the perfect crisp and was spicy, salty, and sweet (personally, this is my holy trinity of flavors). I think this would be a great way to introduce chicken feet to people who haven't had it before. The beef salad was super refreshing, and I appreciated the copious amounts of beef and different vegetables, especially banana blossom. I've had chicken in this type of salad growing up but this tender beef is a game changer. Everything else was great but those were the highlights for me. The staff is very lovely and they made sure we were taken care of. The whole restaurant is modernized and clean. I highly recommend trying DVR whether you're looking for a classic Vietnamese meal or wanting to tap into the lounge experience.

Now to talk about the food..... I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. I've never had a Banh Mi sandwich before and this did not disappoint . I would add a picture but I ate it so fast and didn't think I was going to write a review lol. But I ordered the Grilled Pork sandwich on a croissant and it was 10/10! Also, I have to talk about their coconut milk tea... Superb! It taste like real, fresh coconut milk. I've been looking for this coconut place since Bambi closed down around the corner and here it is! Better quality than you'd get a bubble tea place. I WILL be going back here to try more menu items. But standing ovation

Once we sat down, it started to get a little busier. The banh mis were alright; we liked that the baguettes weren't too hard, but the flavor was mediocre. I felt they needed more mayo and pâté. By the time we finished our meal, we went back to the counter to pick up our takeout order, but it wasn't ready. We ended up waiting nearly an hour after our initial order for those items to come out. I'm not sure why it took so long considering it was only four items: a drink, a pre-made dessert, sizzling steak, and a patty. When we got home, we realized the patty was missing. Definitely double-check your order if you're getting takeout. We were bringing food back for a family member on a limited diet due to surgery, so the missing item was very disappointing. We won't be coming back.
