I've eaten here twice in the past 2 weeks since I'm in town for business. I've enjoyed my meal both times. Back home, i frequent a really great pho spot so I have high standards. I highly recommend the shrimp pho. Some of the best pho I've ever had. My only complaint is I prefer the entire shell of the shrimp. I've never had tempura calamari before tonight. It was so good. I lived close by for a brief period and I came to this place for dinner everyday! I was joking with a friend that I have only been in Columbus for less than a week and I have eaten here three times, and that's how good it is! I always go for the pho noodle soup with beef and tripe and tendon. The soup is so flavorful and noodles so chewy( in a good way). I also like the spring roll and seaweed salad a lot as appetizer. I ordered their shrimp dumplings once I didn't like them a bit - it was neither dumpling nor was there shrimp. Side note: One of my friends doesn't like it because she is very sensitive to msg. Superb service and really great pho. Seriously, it's on par with what my mom makes. My family stopped in after a visit to Edinburgh Outlets. My brothers both got the extra large bowls of pho and essentially licked their bowls clean. My dad got a large bowl and killed it as well. Bottom line: a real gem in a small town that serves top quality sushi and good vietnamese food! I can not say enough good things about this place! I've had my fair share of nigiri and sashimi in this place. It's the only place I would go for sushi in the entire midwest. Worth the drive every single time. The fish is top quality and the sushi/sashimi combo is a steal. If you love fish, just come and sit at the bar, order any sushi/sashimi combo and let Kevin do his magic. If I am to order separately, my favorite nigiri here is scallop. Amazing texture! White tuna and yellowtail are also great. In terms of sushi rolls, alaska roll is simple but surprisingly good. Spicy crab roll that comes with sushi combo 2 is also good. The vietnamese portion of menu is decent. I love the pho #4 (with cooked beef, rare beef and beef tendon) and chicken vermicelli. I visited this locations with some friends on a cold night. I'm Vietnamese and wanted some soup. I ordered the seafood egg noodle soup and really enjoyed it. The broth was good, the portion amount was alright, but I would recommend the business to switch their fish balls. They were very bland. My sushi was odd. I ordered the plain pho with extra noodles as well as two pieces of salmon nigiri. The salmon came out first. It was a little different. I have never had sesame seeds on my nigiri before. Besides that, the rice was overly sour for my taste. My pho was very good. It arrived hot with the extra noodles on the side. Our service was fine. I came here for a business trip and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was here! We stopped here for lunch and I got the pho with rare beef and meatballs added (for a bit extra). We also got some spring/summer rolls as appetizers and they were very well made and fresh. The broth was perfectly balanced after adding the lime, bean sprouts, hoisin and kick of sriracha. The beef was also tender but you would need to eat it really fast before it cooks if you want it rare. My only wish was that the serving sizes were larger. This place can get crazy busy by about 6:00 on a Friday, just as a fair warning, and the sushi counter can get way backed up, so it can be quite the wait. My go to for dinner is the Mt. I loved this place, every time I have come here in the past it was amazing....recently a friend and I came here and there was a long wait.. I figure that's typical for a popular restaurant.. We got our meal and I order some some plain Pho noodles and a veggie roll because I refuse to eat in cooked meat or fish....my friend ordered sushi... as we were waiting we heard yelling and screaming from the kitchen.... when we got our food it was good but my friend felt that his tuna tasted funny....the next day was when it hit.....My stomach has been tore up...nausea and diarrhea.... stomach cramps.... Wonderful addition to Columbus, when you live in a town that has 2 Walmart's, and 2 of very fast food place around, it was nice to set foot in a place that doesn't smell or taste like the bottom of a fryer. Yes, it is cheaper than other places, however it is not nearly as smooth as other cheap saki I have had at other restaurants. Please Pho Shiki, find a new house saki. Service is great. Each time I go, I never have to ask for another drink or a clean napkin, etc. The space is very clean and the decor is that of your typical ethnic, oriental restaurant. Not only is there a pho place in Columbus, there's a really good pho place in Columbus. Best pho I've had (mind you I'm poor & have only had pho in Indiana). Everything else I've tried is good (sushi, hibachi) but it's the rare steak pho that keeps me coming back. read more

We ate here the first Time today. My salad was so overdressed that when you lifted the lettuce up the dressing dripped off of it. I got the teriyaki steak and shrimp with fried rice. The rice was gummy and thick and the steak was grizzly and over cooked. I my husbands vermicelli bowl tasted nasty needed salt and the shrimp were tough old and overcooked. When we told the gentleman checking us out he did not take any money off of our ticket and we ended up paying $40 for a meal my husband did not eat and I only ate half of I do not record mend pho Shiki to anyone read more

The best hibachi shrimp ever. Lots of shrimp. The veggies were done perfectly and so yummy I didn't even use the sauce much. The vermicelli was great, too. Very skimpy on the shrimp, though. The prok was very unique AND delicious! We prefer the oolong over the green tea. Reasonable prices, too. Their business is picking up. Glad to see a successful CBus restaurant.
