This dish is sort of like ramen in that you can get cheap mee goreng in a package (it's all the rage in Australia) and it's satisfying junk food, but the elevated restaurant version is much better. The version here is incredibly savory; no one uses fried onions better than Indonesians. Some sort of Asian greens added variety to my dish.
