This is a wonderful, local, and quaint spot that we visited last night for date night. From start to finish, we had a pleasant experience. The owners and hosts were so kind and endearing. They serve their customers themselves and do so well. We started with the amazingly flavorful spring rolls. I love the flavor. They were so delicious. I had the beef vermicelli bowl and the beef was so tender. I drizzled some of my wife's Pho broth onto my bowl and that accentuated it even more. I'd love to return to try the Bánh mì. I here it is really flavorful and worth it. I highly recommend them for a casual, lowkey, and deliciously nutritious dinner with authentic Vietnamese flavors. You will not be disappointed. You walk in to a very excited greeting asking you to sit anywhere available. This place definitely has many regulars and it was impressive hearing the staff remember orders from their regulars. The restaurant is simple, no frills with good portions and great food. We had the pork bun cha (rice vermicelli), rice paper rolls and chicken pho. Was this the best Vietnamese I've ever had - no... but it satisfied a craving and it was good. If there was one negative it was that the pork was on the sweeter side with its marinade. My wife and I have been going here for years. Helen is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, and she is amazing with our 16-month old daughter (who loves sharing our portions with us). She creates an extremely family friendly and relaxing atmosphere. As of recent, and taking our toddler into consideration, we've taken to order the vegetable Pho and end up sharing the vegetable spring rolls, Chicken Banh Mi, and chicken skewers. Yes, I'd order them again just to see if this was an anomaly. My partner had Pho tai nam gan, and I had the bun doc biet. The pho flavor was outstanding. A lovely plate of bean sprouts, Thai basil and jalepeno peppers accompanied this bowl of deliciousness. The bun was somewhat different than those I've had before. Instead of a salad hiding beneath the vermicelli, it was spread all over. Little shards of carrot and cucumber, thin slices of charred beef or pork and grilled shrimp. Deeelicious!!! The food was fine, but the service wasn't great. My 79 yr old mom and I arrived around 6p, and were one of only three tables in the restaurant. The manager / owner (I assume because other customers knew her by name) seemed annoyed with us because we only ordered one large soup and one appetizer. After the food arrived, she didn't come back to check on us, so. I went to the counter where she was ringing up Togo orders to ask for something and she waved me back to my table to sit back down. That happened once more as well. Both times I felt I'd done something wrong by coming to the front. Had she come to the table to check on us I'd not have needed to come up to the counter. She didn't seem much to care about us. When she finally did come back to the table she didn't clear any of the used dishes that we'd stacked up very neatly on her corner. Had the restaurant been full I'd have understood better, but it didn't make sense. It was as if she was annoyed that we were eating in her restaurant at all. I was commuting from my school and as a viet, I needed a warm bowl of pho to soothe the soul. I stopped by this cute mom and pop kinda restaurant and I was warmly greeted by a waiter. I order their pho tai, nam, Bo vien and it is delicious. Subtle sweetness, beefy broth and pretty good toppings. This pho was really hitting my soul. Pho Roswell had been calling my name. I would see they always had a decent crowd while my son was at Redline. I have never tried Noodle Soup so I wanted to try it. The location is easy to find with parking. There is additional parking in the adjacent shopping area. The staff was so friendly and inviting. They did a great job social distancing within the restaurant. They acknowledged their regular customers and held condos. The decor was beautiful. Loved it. Menu has plenty of options. Unfortunately for me, they were out of noodle soup the night I went. I was sad but decided to try some other menu items. The honey fried chicken wings were pretty good. Nice balance of flavor. They were fried just right not too hard. Shrimp and chicken spring rolls were delicious. Loved the sauce that came with them. It was very good. No noodle soup so tried the chicken pad thai. We are trying Vietmamese Restaurant's and this was where we stopped. Nice large clean dining room. Nice server. We started out with cold beer no draft bottles only imported beer. The beer was cold and tasty, although it was a bit pricey at $6.99 a bottle. We started with fried egg roll chicken shrimp. It was very tasty and crispy full of flavor. We then had the Grilled Chicken Bahn Mi and we were pleasantly surprised how full of flavor and fresh crunchy the bread tasted. Definitely worth having again. I had the Rare Steak Pho the broth was amazing full of beef flavor very authentic. The condiments just help enhance all the flavors the beef was very tender. You wouldn't really find this place unless you're really in the mood for Pho/Vietnamese food, even though it's right off of 92 highway. But as a reoccurring resident, I finally found this wonderful hidden spot and I'm so glad! As a person who has Vietnamese friends, I became inspired and picky with real authentic flavor. Rest assured, if you're reading this COME HERE! They have such a nice atmosphere, very clean inside and the food is so amazing! Great ! - the Pho Ga ( chicken noodle style pho) was so delectable!!! came out very hot so I burned my tongue a little because I was so excited to try it from its sensual smell ! Good ! - I also got to try their yummy vegetable spring rolls, omg they came out hot and crispy, not soggy at all!! Only reason this isn't great, but still delicious none the less would order again, was because the dipping sauce they used was a little "oily" / messy/ and didn't have too much taste to it. I don't know what the sauce is called but regardless would still eat the rolls without it easily. Meh- Came out with actual green tea leaves in the pot! It was so cool to see! But I don't think it tasted strong enough for myself, nothing major to worry about :) Would also like to add in that the servers/owners are very social, super polite and very accommodating it feels like a very happy family business with real interest getting to know you. I'm a huge fan of Pho Roswell. As far as a in the suburbs you can not find better. Is it the best in Atlanta, no you need to Dai Loa #2 on Buford Hwy. This is the best service in Atlanta, ABSOLUTELY! Pho Roswell has a very good broth. I have tried many of the dishes but I continue to go back to the soup. The meatball, brisket and flank are my favorite. And no meal here would be complete without those perfectly crispy egg rolls. Perfection on a plate. The hands on ownership Helen is why we come here. She has remembered us by name after our very first visit. She writes the book on how to treat customers. My son (7) & daughter (11) requests to go at least once a week. read more

We went on a Friday night and it's Probably the worst pho restaurant I've been at. Atleast the service was great so I'll give it 2 stars. Pork Banh mi was odd, it was like a meatball vs your traditional Vietnamese chopped grilled pork. We also got pork chop rice plate and the pork chop is the oddest/saddest piece of pork I've had. The pho was less than average with mostly all noodles and didn't have much soup especially for $20. Food needs a complete overhaul or will close soon imo. The parking area is very limited and I can only assume it is hard to find parking when they are busy. We were there a little early so the restaurant was not full. We were told to sit wherever we wanted to and our waitress quickly came to the table. When we asked for water as our drinks we were offered tea. I immensity said yes and it was cold outside. Our tea arrived in a very pretty tea pot and little cups, however when we poured the tea, chunks of tea leaves came out with it. Upon inspecting the tea pot we noticed it didn't have a strainer. By the. The restaurant was pretty busy, we just decided to order the spring rolls for appetizers and two Pho's as the menu is extensive and we didn't really know much about the dishes. Prices are average between $7-$12 for entrees. The springs rolls were a little on the small side, but had q really good flavor. The Pho's of good size. They give you a nice plate of trimmings to eat with your Pho. Service was good even when they were busy. Someone was checking on us on a regular basis and filling up our water cups. The experience was good. The food in my opinion was ok. My husband love it though. In all fairness, this was my second time trying Vietnamese food. And I didn't care for it the first time either. I was a bit surprise when we got our check and the leafy tea we were offered for water was on the bill. I wish I had known I was paying for the tea, I would of asked for my strainer. The service at this restaurant was pretty good. The waitress always came by our table with a smile and seemed genuine in caring about your experience here. The vermicelli was quite good. It was well-portioned and well-balanced in terms on the meat, egg-roll, and other toppings. The summer roll was ok, but I had issues with the peanut sauce. It didn't taste like peanut sauce at all, and the portion was not nearly enough. It was disappointing that there was not enough sauce to finish the end of the roll. The pho broth was not very good, and it even looked a bit slimey in the bowl. The combination that we ordered did not come with many ingredients compared to most other Vietnamese restaurants. I believe it only came with 3, whereas other restaurants include much more in their "combo" pho's. And finally, the banh mi sandwich that we ordered to-go was not very crispy at all. I'm not sure if it's because we took it home and it lost its crispiness of the bread in the car. But it was a little disappointing when we ate it as soon as we returned home. Overall, the service was decent which is the reason for the three stars. But the food quality left much to be desired. With other competing Vietnamese restaurants around, I hope they can work on the quality of their foods to stay competitive. read more
