The large pho must be huge! I ordered over the phone for pick up and it was ready when I arrived. They open an hour before most pho places in the area at 10am. Parking was easy in their shared lot of a large shopping center. I did have to wait some time to get helped as there was no one at the front and only one party in the restaurant. the interior was modern with very high ceilings. The food was still hot when I arrived home and the medium sixe that I ordered was a decent size for the price of $14. The large was $24 so quite the jump in price so I didn't get it. The noodles and onions were in the bowl cold, with the broth by itself hot in a container and the other veggies, jalapeno, and lime in a baggie. Came here for a larger to go order and the gentleman who took our order was friendly and helpful answering questions we had about the menu. The restaurant and restrooms are clean and well lit. I'm sure it gets busy, but when we came it was early and quiet. I love how well they packaged the to go order. I also love the containers they use. My husband and I stopped by for an impromptu late lunch. I was happy for two reasons: 1) I really enjoy good pho and 2) this means I don't have to cook dinner tonight! The menu changed since I was here last spring. The price went up a little -- which I understand -- but one's choice of pho on the combination meal is more restrictive (SC1 on the menu.) I've been here a few times, and it's always been a decent Vietnamese spot. However, on my last visit, it seemed like there had been a change in management. I'd give it 3.5 stars. It's a chilly afternoon and it's lunch time, you go to I Luv Pho. This location opened earlier this year and is off of busy Holcomb Bridge Road in the Ross and Marshalls shopping center. It's a shopping center so lots of free spots, it is pretty busy so you may not find a spot directly in front of the restaurant. I arrived around 11am and it was empty but around 1pm it was pretty full. They have several vegetarian friendly items.... which I love, including veggie broth pho. I ordered a combination: tofu/ veggie pho and an avocado banh mi. My eyes were much bigger than my stomach so I ordered a shrimp appetizer also. The combination comes in half and full, the full was definitely too much so I would get the half next time. Food: *Fried shrimp - 5 for $6.95. Not very flavorful and not a fan of the dipping sauce, It looked like frozen fried shrimp. I was expecting the Asian prepared fried shrimp. *combo special - veggie pho and a whole Avocado banh mi - $14.95. Menu said it came with a drink but we didn't get one. Sandwhich had lots of Avocado slices and had a pretty good taste, I would order again. I'm happy to have an I Luv Pho location in North Fulton. The space itself is white and modern with unique decor. It's a pretty large dine-in area. The menu is huge and has a variety of pho, banh mi, noodle and rice dishes. We have visited a few times and everything has been great. I especially like the fresh rolls, pho ga, and lemongrass chicken. The banh mi is good too, with fresh tasting bread. Service can be a little lacking at times, but it's not a huge issue. I've visited I Luv Pho recently. The ambiance is clean and open, and there are plenty of seating available to handle heavy traffic during peak hours. I visited around 11:15am at the opening, so it was pretty empty. Things are well-maintained with nice decorations. It's in a plaza, so there's plenty of parking available as well. I got a medium beef filet magnon & brisket pho. The medium bowl is kinda bigger than I thought, although it's mostly filled with the broth. They have an extra-large option as well, so if you're uncertain, you can ask to view the sizes to make sure. As for the pho itself, it was good. The broth had a good depth of flavor, and the noodles were tender. The meat, however, was a bit sparse and could have been more tender. They packaged it up nicely where nothing was over cooked or got soggy, the bowls they package with were also really nice too, I could microwave in them & they were large & a nice quality. I actually got 3 bowls for my family & the total was around $50 which isn't bad at all. The staff was friendly when I went to pick up & the service was fast. They provided everything you need including spoons, chopstick, hoisin & sriracha. Big kudos to I Luv Pho for successfully cloning their Buford Highway restaurant in Roswell, which is not exactly a bastion of authentic Asian cuisine. In fact, I think it is arguably better. Certainly, you can't look at the beautiful interior or modern exterior and not think that this is a big step up from the original location. The bathrooms are downright elegant. The menu seems comparable, both in depth and in pricing. The food quality is right there too. In the last few visits, we have ordered: Thai Iced Tea Cha Gio (crispy egg rolls) Chicken Wings with Fish Sauce Spicy Lemongrass Beef, and also Chicken Pho with Meatballs. Bun with BBQ Pork, Grilled Shrimp & Egg Rolls I was pretty excited when the Thai iced tea arrived, because it looked beautiful and was served in a goblet that you could put your fist into. It tasted great, but I soon realized that the cup contents were 90% ice. The cha gio are fresh. crispy and tasty. When you order them, you are given a choice of filling - pork, chicken or veggie. We stuck with the pork. Rather than bringing them with the traditional nuoc cham ("fish sauce") for dipping, they come with Thai chili sauce (sweet and spicy). It's not a bad alternative, and you can ask for the nuoc cham if you'd prefer it. The chicken wings come with a number of sauce choices. I went with the fish sauce because when done right (as is the case at Nam Phuong), they are a perfect blend of crispy, juicy, sticky, funky, sweet and salty. The ones I had here were a little low on the sweet, and a little high on the funky. A small dip in the Thai chili sauce balanced them out nicely though. We got the spicy lemongrass beef, and got the same treatment with chicken. Both had very tender and juicy meat (and plenty of it), along with a very flavorful lemongrass sauce that had a good kick to it from sliced jalapeños. It's hot enough that we needed to have rice with each bite. We'd happily get either again. My wife loved her pho, finding the broth to be wonderfully flavorful, and the meatballs to be tasty. These come in small, medium and XL. The XL could easily stand in for a bird bath. The Bun (vermicelli) is something I order at most Vietnamese restaurants. This was among the best I've had. Yes, the noodles were plentiful and had a great texture, and there was just the right amount of shredded lettuce, pickled carrot & daikon; and the grilled shrimp (only 2) were very nice; but that had to be the best Vietnamese BBQ pork I have ever had. It was so fresh, and tender and flavorful, and there was a generous helping. This particular selection also came with an egg roll (cha gio), and I took the option to add another one for $1.50. They only cut the cha gio in half, rather than slicing it up so you could have bites with the noodles. It's easy enough to bite off pieces when you want them. The accompanying nuoc cham had the right balance of sweet, tart (from lime juice), funky (from fish sauce) and spicy. It gave the noodles a nice flavor. The service is still working the kinks out. Apps are frequently brought out after the mains - I got the chicken wing app after we had finished everything else on the table. They tend to have a runner plunk dishes down and skedaddle before you can point out that they forgot to bring the sauce; and that sauce isn't coming until you find someone else later to get it. It's hard to get the check, and it's a long time after you get it, before they come by to swipe your card. Still, these are minor annoyances, and could be fixed easily if they pay attention. read more

I'm so disappointed with my meal tonight. The shrimp in the spring rolls were slimy, tiny and inedible. I knew their refund policy (none) so I just pushed it aside and waited for my beef filet Pho. There was no flavor to the broth, very oily on top and the meat was basically shredded and balled up on top. I tried to add some flavor with the condiments on the table which barely helped. I always come back for the pho because it's the only place in the area and doesn't disappoint. Haven't been in Georgia long but this has to be the best Viet joint around. My wife and I have been three times already. We were super spoiled in California, living near Little Saigon in Orange County. Vietnamese food is so good, and I'm glad we have a place this good only a few miles down Highway 92. I've had pho dac biet here twice, and mi bo kho once. My wife is a vermicelli girl, so she's had that each time. Really fresh flavors. Bomb iced coffee. Really friendly staff. It's a bit expensive compared to what we'd pay in California but the food is great and totally worth it. read more

The food here is incredible. The bahn mi is fantastic. The bread is phenomenal...it's the best bahn mi I've had in the suburbs and rivals Lee's bakery.
