The Vermicelli and Rice Plates are our standbys, and their Milk Teas, but we branched out to Lemongrass Chicken and Spicy Shrimp Basil Fried Rice and loved every bite! The ingredients here are always super fresh, the food is always ready really quickly, and the meat is always quality. Stopped by without any expectation and had a pleasant surprise with the food we had. - Combination Egg Noodle Soup (Dry): our favorite noodles so we order it everywhere we go. The noodle was pretty well soaked with the sauce, not sure if they have the thick noodles or not since we didn't ask but it'd go great with thick noodles. Served with charsiu, shrimp, fish cakes and a lot of fresh veggies. There's also a soup on the side but I feel like putting carrots in there kinda ruined the taste of the soup. - Char Siu Pork Banh Mi: a good size for a Banh mi to me since it's not too overwhelmed like some places. The bread was good and loaded with charsiu and pickles. However I feel like the bread was on the dry side and should've been a bit more crispy, it wasn't toasted well. We've been coming here since 2019 and it's been our go to for all things pho. It's been awhile, the quality seemed to waver a bit, but now it's back to consistency and quality taste. Today, it was the BBQ Pork with Egg Noodles and some Baby Bok Choy. Their hallmark has been their broth, the longer it cooks, the better it gets. Today was sublime. Ordered my food on yelp for pick up. When I got there the person told me it would be two minutes. Went back up multiple times and asked for status and they just said it's coming up. I really like that this pho spot is open earlier than other pho spots in town. We like to take our family there after a night of drinking or anytime the weather is a bit chilly. I get the bun Bo hue every time because the broth is delicious. I don't normally finish my bowl of noodles but I devour this one every time. My husband gets the chicken egg noodle and we would share their fried shrimp rolls ( ask for extra lettuce and pickle veggies for lettuce wraps with your shrimp rolls ) friendly workers and price is fair. Everything that we ordered are delicious..my hubby loved the egg noodles coz the broth is not salty and then the one that I have is the vermicelli which I like coz there's no fishy smell and after taste of the fish sauce..shrimp spring rolls is awesome then tried the ice coffee that has the right amount of ice and sweetness with a little bit of bitterness because of the coffee. Ok so I have ordered take-out a couple of times and this restaurant is consistent! My 4 year old daughter loves their chicken rice noodle soup! There shrimp spring rolls are also really good. What sets this place at a 5 star for me is 1. Their customer service 2. Good tasting food/portion size 3. Take-out! They package their soup individually and make it supper easy to re-heat. I stopped by this afternoon for lunch, and ordered a vermicelli pork bowl for takeout. The place wasn't busy at 10:45 a.m. so within 10 minutes, my order was ready to go. I really liked the grilled pork in the dish: the pork wasn't overly charred, wasn't too fatty, was nicely pre-cut, and portions were large. Additionally, it was very thoughtful of them to have the peanuts separated out as well to prevent them from getting soggy. Noodles were fresh, bouncy, and separated with no issues with the provided sauce. Overall a really great tasting dish that I'd order again. Though I've had cheaper vermicelli bowl in the San Francisco Bay Area, this is likely the best Vietnamese eatery you'll find in Tracy. I would stop by again if I were in the area. read more

We go here A LOT and tonight, they did us wrong. They charged our card for $5 more so, instead of giving us $5 back in cash, they voided the charge. The issue is we won't get that money back until Monday at the earliest and we only had enough for dinner so couldn't pay for the meal. We asked if we could bring the cash back tomorrow and they declined. I get they are a business and aren't giving food away but like I said, we go here a lot and now they lost a regular customer over $23. I got the rice vermicelli noodle with sweet vinegary sauce which you pour onto the noodles. It comes with grilled beef, shrimp, eggroll, and veggies you mix with the noodles. It tastes good but the beef and shrimp were on the tough side. The grilled beef is stuffed with I think green onion. It was kinda hard to bite into it. The beef was thin rolled outside of green onion, and the shrimp was overcooked, dry and tough. The eggroll luckily didn't get soggy and taste good. The price of this is kind of pricey. read more

This is such an amazing dish!!! I came here this morning and the server recommended me this dish. It called the Vietnamese steak with egg. It comes with the bread on the side as well. I ask for medium rare stead and it comes with a perfect steak cubes that's so soft and yummy:)))) I would give this place over 5 stars if I could because their service is very good. All the servers are so nice and friendly, they are willing to help you as much as they can which is a plus for me. The famous Vietnamese coffee also did not disappoint me at all. Decided to dine in for lunch so placed an order via door dash for a few items as I haven't tried this restaurant before. I wanted to try the pho but didn't know how well it would travel and wasn't clear about types of broth from the door dash platform. Ordered two types of spring rolls (grilled salmon / shrimp and shrimp) both served with a peanut sauce. The spring rolls were decent and very heavy with veg vs the protein that I couldn't really taste the shrimp or the salmon. The shrimp egg rolls were really good and I devoured them immediately. They were perfectly crisp and the sauce that accompanied it was yummy. The spicy shrimp fried rice was not very spicy and lacking in those pops of flavor that I'm used to. I had to add some sauce and chili sauce to really get the spice level right for my liking. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and on the larger side. Overall the food was yummy, this is a place I would order from again and I definitely want to try the pho here. read more

This place is the goto spot for soup in Tracy for my wife and I. The soup portions are big and their large soup size is crazy big and good. The young staff is always friendly and attentive to our needs. The location is good with ample parking and the interior is nicely laid out. I can really only recommend the rare steak soup but from what I've seen in the menu there are a lot more other choices like various rice dishes and appetizers. Whenever we go there there are always lots of other people eating there so that tells me the food is good and I imagine they have lots of repeat business. When compared to most pho franchises, this one is pretty decent. I used to enjoy it a lot, but once I started trying more locations I discovered how this one isn't as special as it used to be. For instance, the broth of the pho isn't that strong and the portion sizes have recently shrunk. Usually my partner and I get a large size of pho, but now it's become mostly broth. I was left feeling unsatisfied and worse, still hungry. I also enjoy getting spring rolls here, but they made the size of the peanut sauce smaller. I think this is because they charge $1 for an extra cup of peanut sauce. Because of this, I think they made the one that initially comes with the meal smaller. I found this to be stingy as most pho restaurants I've been to are more generous with their portions. Even the bean sprouts they handed us has decreased. The service is okay. To be honest, the workers keep to themselves and aren't the most attentive. Most of the time, I've had to get up from my seat to ask for a refill or for the check. They also have this tendency to hand people the check when the place is packed. This feels kind of rude because if others are enjoying their meal and were seated first, then it's only fair for those coming in to wait. Overall, due to the shrink in portion size I will be coming here less. It's still a decent spot though for pho when in Tracy, but to leave a place still feeling hungry sucks. Coming from a Vietnamese family and growing up in the San Jose area, I've had a lot of Vietnamese food growing up. In most "authentic" Vietnamese restaurants, there are things you can come to expect that don't match most contemporary restaurants. 1. The decor is often simple, and sometimes often falls short. This is true of this location, as it appears to be partially remodeled and there's a clash of new cleanliness and old things that need repair. It's a jarring difference between what is next door. 2. The service is normally lacking. With this location, it's a hit or miss. I've been here twice and while English is sometimes a challenge, communication is not an issue. Attitude and attention to detail can be though. Our server was not the one to deliver our food and someone from the back did, and almost gave it away to another table. No water refills either. 3. Massive menu. A lot of Vietnamese places have enormous menus, often made up of variants of Pho, rice , or noodle dishes. This is a good thing, and this place does the same. Knowing these expectations, I really wanted to like this place, so I didn't judge for the qualities I previously mentioned. Where they fall short are: Quality and consistency: I ordered the same dish twice , and the topping quantity/quality vary. Noodles were over cooked both times where they practically break apart when using chopsticks to pick them up. Price: The price point is much higher than what's around in their near competitive areas. This can be forgiven if quality or service were superior, but they are not. Cleanliness: Maybe I was unlucky, but the second time I was here, there were a lot of flies where I was seated. And when we were seated, I noticed our table wasn't entirely cleaned. I had to wipe down fresh sauce stains that were spilled. Hope they can get their act together. Is it the worse place? Not at all. But it falls below average, and with many other options available in the area, it's hard to find a reason to come back. read more
