Absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The spring rolls were light and packed with crisp veggies and shrimp, and the peanut sauce was rich and perfectly balanced. The vermicelli bowl was just as impressive! Everything from the grilled meat to the shrimp and fresh vegetables tasted amazing, and the combination of textures made every bite satisfying. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. Great portions, great flavors, and overall a delicious experience. I'll definitely be coming back!

Came to this spot to have breakfast with my girlfriend and it was phenomenal. Right off the bat, the service was excellent. Attentive yet friendly staff who got our order correct and swiftly. The Filet Mignon pho is so rich and flavorful, the accoutrements were all fresh and vital to the soup. The chili oil specifically was a standout as it was delicious, and my girlfriend's favorite condiment provided. The French fries were crispy and satisfying. Finally the shrimp fried rice which according to my girlfriend was delicious. Overall an amazing experience with friendly staff and excellent food. If I find myself in Upland again I will definitely be going back.

Great price, service was kind of lacking though we had to flag staff down multiple times to get a box and pay for our food. Food was delicious and the place was decorated nicely and was clean!

I came in cuz I was in the area, the food is ok, it was busy when I came in around 7pm, there are a lot of young waitresses/waiters, they seemed overwhelmed. I came in and pointed my finger 1 for 1 person and the girl said this table and threw the menu on the table and walked away. Wow, Great service already!!! I knew exactly what I wanted because I saw their Yelp page, the prices is a little higher , it went up 75 cents from a year ago, is not too bad. One of the girls brought me a cup of ice water and left. After looking at the menu, I'm ready to order, I raised my hand like I'm at school trying to get their attention 3 times, first it was a girl, she was coming towards my table and I thought she would stopped but didn't, she walked right past me. Then a heavier guy walked by and I thought he's going to take my order and he also walked away. I was sitting in the middle looking at all of them, I'm facing the cash register area and no one pays attention to me. The 3 rd girl was standing at the pick up order register and she looked my way, I thought she would come over to get my order but nope she just turned to her screen. At this time, I was about to get up and leave. I know that hey are busy but they have 5-6 people working the front line and not one person came over to take my order. The restaurant is not that big, they should divide it into 4 sections and each person takes care of their section. Instead of everyone taking care of everybody. Is so chaotic in there. Finally one lady, I'm pretty sure is the owner came over to take my order. So I ordered their special pho combo, with 2 pork rolls and a Thai green tea which I never had before, is ok, didn't really taste like Thai tea. The pho didn't have what I liked, the tendons. I dug around and only found 2 tiny pieces of tendons that fits perfectly on my spoon, so sad. The broth has a weird taste to it, I eaten a lot of pho in my life and I know this one tastes off, I didn't even finish it, I probably just ate 1/3 of it. The condiments was so sad looking. Is not even fresh, the Thai basil was limped, I got a tiny slice of lemon, if I squeeze it hard enough, the oil from the lemon peel would come out lol. It took forever to get the pork rolls, is like a burrito, you put everything together and roll it up, that was the last item they brought out. It should he the second thing that came out, because is an appetizer not a dessert where you get it last. After they drop off my food, not one person comes over to see how I'm doing or ask me how's the food. After tasting the pork rolls, I agreed with some of the people who said that the meat is dry. Also they should put the crushed peanuts on a spoon on the side because of people have nut allergies, they can't eat it cuz the peanuts is already on the sauce. Is better if they can choose to put the peanuts on the sauce or not, better then ending up in the ER for nut allergies. And I still tip $5 for a $30 meal that I didn't even finish lol. If you guys are in the La Puente area, stop by Oh Pho Love, they have the best summer rolls (the pork rolls) and is a couples of blocks from the West Covina Haven City food court. Would I come back here, probably not. The service wasn't good, the food is ok, I had better. Good luck

Never knew about this place even though I drove past it several times. Finally stumbled in and was not disappointed. The staff greeted us and very well and made us feel right at home. Our server had amazing energy and a great sense of humor. The layout was very organized and kept clean. The pho itself was perfection! I couldn't get enough of it. From the broth to the noodles to the ox tail.... Chefs kiss!

This is not my first time in this house; I last visited maybe 2yrs ago when it was under a different name, Phò Mai. The food here is excellent as is the service and ambience. I rate most Viet restaurants by the quality of their phò dac biet; the deep flavor of the broth and the ratio of noodles and ingredients to the broth. Phò Rex is a winner all the way around. Definitely a South Vietnamese house with great offerings. Try it, you'll not be disappointed!

Our server was amazing! She was so sweet but I couldn't catch her name. The food selection I ordered was pretty unique than other pho spots. My favorite was the lemongrass beef vermicelli which was hella fire. The ambiance is nice and it's really clean and kept. Overall, it was so fire.

Wow! Drove by this place several times and its located in the corner, so it is easy to miss. It is in the same parking lot as Chick Fil A and right by Old World Deli. Inside was alot larger than expected with plenty of seating. Immediately, we were greeted and sat in a booth. Service was quick, and staff was very helpful and kind. Everything we tried was so good. Probably one of the best Pho places in and around the Upland area we've been to. The pho had plenty of meat and that broth is rich and has so much depth in flavor. Best broth I've tried in quite some time. Hubby asked for extra protein and they gave the extra protein in another medium size bowl with broth and noodles. That extra bowl was a good size too. The Vietnamese crepe or banh xeo was . Good flavor, nice texture, and the veggies were a good pairing. Lastly, was the grilled pork spring rolls. So much flavor in that pork. Overall, we were impressed with both the food and service. This place will soon be a regular for us.

Pho Rex is serving up some amazing Vietnamese cuisine staples in the IE! This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a nice casual set up with a good amount of seating. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner around 7pm and were seated right away. For their menu, they are pretty stacked with everything Vietnamese ranging from appetizers, rice, noodle, pho dishes, and more. We opted to try the Rotisserie Chicken (Com Ga Roti), Pho Combination (Pho Dac Biet), and the Pork Sausage Spring Rolls (Nem Nuon Cuon). Everything we had was delicious and the pho broth was valid off the first sip. Overall, we are glad to explore all the awesome Viet spots in the IE and this spot is another one added to the list. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Pho Rex is Viet gang approved!

Food was delicious. I had their vermicelli with pork, shrimp and egg roll. I was able to ask for a little cup of broth. The meal also came with vegetables and sauce for the vermicelli. Delicious! Service was great-fast and courteous! The restaurant is brightly lit with Christmas decors. Gives a family-friendly atmosphere.

Service was very bad could not even get drink refills food was not good beef rolls were so dry. Do not recommend this place whatsoever.
