I'm a bit conflicted about this place. No complaints about the food, It is excellent every time. I went recently and ordered take-out and went in to pick it up. It was on the counter waiting for me, but the buy at the register never acknowledged me. I stood there for at least 3 minutes before he rang up my order, $20.60. I did not leave a tip since it was take-out, signed my receipt, and left. The problem is that I get text alerts when I've spent anything with this particular account, and as soon as I got to my car, I see a charge for $24.87. Weird right?! Like a 20% tip that I did not authorize! I immediately went back inside and the guy who rang me up just walks away from me when I tell him the problem, like he doesn't want to be bothered. Another guy comes and is sorting through all the recent receipts trying to figure out the mistake that the previous guy made ( why didn't they just ask him). Anyway I'm starting to get annoyed with this charade because this is taking too long, shifting through the last dozen or so receipts, looking at my order, asking me what I ordered, asking to see my bank statement. This is my go to spot HANDS DOWN! I eat pho here about twice a week and have no regrets ever. The staff is friendly. The place is always clean. I'm pretty sure it's a well known pho chain, but for some reason this one is my favorite. The broth is perfectly sweet and I love how the meat is nice and pink when the bowl arrives to your table. I have eat here before and the food was ok. But this is not about the food it is about posting menu prices and not honoring them! This might not matter to many however integrity especially in business is important and probably now more than ever. I pointed out the incorrect calculation to the "manager", and after trying to tell me I was wrong... his only answer was well the price has changed, it went up! I stated that he must publish accurate pricing so consumers are made aware and he should honor his presented pricing! He was not having it and I decided to leave before he escalated the matter. Hence, I am writing this, will inform the City of Sunrise and everyone that will listen because right is right and wrong is wrong! The pho we shared and never got the bowl we asked for. No napkins at the table or offered. We couldn't get the servers attention to ask for napkins. No one checked to see how was everything. This is VERY bad business, I suggest you change it to reflect what is right. It could do better and we hope it does because we live right there. No veggie pho option- my wife ended up having beef broth and liked it but they should offer some vegetables to add for the option. Was recommended this place by a friend as I love pho, thought I'd try it out as I was already nearby and looking for a yummy bowl. I have had vegetarian pho before at Brandon's and always loved it. The vegetarian pho here however is not very good. The vegetables were raw. They weren't cut. They literally gave me a bowl of broth with two whole raw carrots, unseasoned tofu, raw mushrooms, and some broccoli/cauliflower. I asked to return the meal as I was extremely displeased with what I was given & they said that there was nothing they could do. Ended up paying $10 to leave hungry. I ended up going to Brandon's afterwards to get a quality bowl of pho. The other pho options looked very good, but if you are vegetarian, or enjoy vegetables in your pho, this is not the place to go. read more

Wasn't disappointed at all! Huge portions especially the pho. Hubby got the large bowl and he said it was filled with meat. That's a good sign. Most places when you order a larger bowl, it just means more broth and noodle. My rice and grilled chicken was seasoned well. Will def be back! Place is clean as well. Pretty happy with the quality of pho here. I've eaten here several times now and it's been pretty consistent. I have yet to find a Vietnamese restaurant that prepares pho the way I'm used to but I think Pho 79 is close. There staff is friendly and the price is affordable.
