Our last day in Florida and checked out from the hotel. My friend loves soups so we went to try a different place. Located in a large shopping area, they have a ton of parking spots. We were greeted when we walked in, I noticed the cool hanging flowers in the center of the restaurant. Our soups were delicious, made me thought why we didn't come sooner. Just had dinner at Pho Ben Vietnamese restaurant. My dinner companion informed me this place was previously Pho 78 and very good but had declined in quality in the recent couple of years. She added this looked thus far like a much cleaner version. (Clean is always a good thing!) We were greeted immediately, provided extensive menus and drink orders taken. Very, pleasant mgr encouraged us to ask any questions we had. We started out with some crispy egg rolls with pickled daikon radish and carrots which were very good. My friend ordered a small meatball pho and I decided to go out on a first visit limb and ordered the udon noodles with crab, shrimp and pieces of pork shoulder. The mgr told us the menu misprinted and did not include the pieces of pork shoulder on the menu and wanted to make sure I knew because he had become aware other patrons were taken by surprise. Our food smelled sooo good on arrival. I like things with a little kick so I added a few shakes of sriracha. It was really savory, not a thin broth but not thick either. Just a little touch of body to it. Seafood absolutely fresh and delicious! I was so full but could not help going back for another bite! My friend finished half her pho noodles and almost all her broth! I got a watermelon smoothie that was a refreshing surprise after the hot soup. I had half of my food home. She was taking her noodles home and the mgr gave her more broth for her noodles without even a request for it. Major points for that. Plus, he packaged all our leftovers for us. I strongly recommend giving this lively, friendly, accommodating new business a try. We will be back sooner than later! read more

The boy and I went to a Vietnamese noodle bar on our recent trip to So Flo and it did NOT disappoint! First, it was recently renovated and the decor is SUPER cute! You know I love purple! Plus, the server was top notch! The pho was excellent! It was very cinnamon forward which was an interesting, but delish recipe! They take 28 hours to painstakingly make their broth fresh every single day! That hard work definitely pays off in the taste! The summer rolls were fresh, sized perfectly, and the perfect ratio of protein, veg, and noodles. And I always love a good peanut sauce! The steak noodle dish was AMAZING! Garlicky noods with filet... Nothing wrong with that! The taro boba and the Vietnamese coffee were both on point, too! 10/10 and I cannot wait to come back and try more! read more

You've gotta try their fried chicken wings with fish sauce--they're seriously the best! We ordered a bunch of different dishes and everything tasted super fresh and delicious. Their smoothies are really good too. Definitely coming back! read more

Remember coming here in the past when it was under a different name, but just never had the chance to come back. But was in the area looking for something to eat and remembered this place. I guess the new name came with the place looking a lot cleaner than what I remember. But as far as the food and the service all was pretty good. The chicken pho I had was decent it had a good amount of chicken. We also had the fish sauce wings which was different from what I typically had but still good nevertheless. Nice big place and looks like the traditional Vietnamese restaurants I would go to. I like Asian places that don't have too much decorations and has not exquisite. Nonetheless let's dive into the food. The pho broth was sooooo freaking good. Freaking creamed all over it..... but like as we all know, the noodles have to match the taste, and that's where it lacked. Damn I thought I found a gem, was too good to be true. That's the only reason it's getting a 4 instead of a 5. They did give a lot of noodles though, it's just sad it was the cheaper noodles. Darn darn darn. This place is a true gem! We were visiting the area and among all the tourist traps and other bland places this place was such a refreshing restaurant . Clean interior and great service . But what really stood out was the authenticity of all the food and especially the seafood thats hiding at the back of the menu . We came near closing after a long day of work and the owner suggested to us his Singapore crab dish and boy was it a delight . Complex rich fragrant flavors that got my coworker and I so excited for our next visit back . The filet mignon and pho were delicious! But definitely definitely try the seafood , it's not your typical salty cajun flavors . It's authentic Vietnamese , rich complex flavors that will have you sweating and panting it's so good . The service is always great even when busy. I only go for the pho - the chicken pho and it is so so so good. I have brought family members here who have tried dishes that are not soup and have told me that the taste is absolutely amazing. I love this place. I even come alone and people watch while I eat. Amazing!!! I went here with my kids and the service was great! The food was DELICIOUS! So good I forgot to take a picture. I had the #2 which was pho with different types of beef and my kids also had the same well different types of pho and my son had chicken fried rice which was sooooo good and chicken wings which was good as well.
