This place was great until I found a BUG in my pho. I brought it to the attention of the server. A manager came out and told me it was a burnt onion. That's extremely offensive. It's clearly a bug. NO apologies and NO credit or discount. Well this is what you get for your bad customer service. read more

Pho Mi 99 - Vietnamese Near Me - Brampton, Ontario

Full on meh. None of the vibrancy of flavour that you would expect from Vietnamese or Thai cuisine. Not inedible, but certainly not particularly exciting. Tom Yum soup just stupid hot (spicy) without any subtlety. Wipe your tables. read more

I always order to go for pick up on a work day, never dined in before. The service is excellent and food is ready quick! The vermicelli (pork, meatball, spring roll) delicious and flavourful. The one downside is the parking spaces are limited as the restaurant shares the lot with a building and other stores. read more

Had to give this place a go again after about 5 years? Delivery again, as that's my life now. We got BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Curry Chicken on Fried Rice and Chicken Pad Thai, I think it's our gweilo staple everywhere we go or rather, get delivered. I forgot to take pics of the pad thai. The curry was amazing though. I ate every last bit of it. Delicious flavour, no shortage of chicken. It was fantastic. The pad thai and fried rice were also delicious, Al in all it was a good choice read more

My favourite place to slurp on a big bowl of Pho in the area! This restaurant is large, never too busy and has impeccably quick service. You can order, eat, and pay all within 45 minutes. The servers are all super friendly and greet you with smiles at the door. My favourite dish is the rare beef Pho. It is absolutely delicious. The broth is flavourful. The soup is packed with tender rare beef. The noodles fill the bowl to the very top. And you have an assortment of add-ons and sauces that you can use. I always add bean sprouts, a dash of lemon, and some hoisin sauce. The prices are incredibly reasonable. With tax and tip, I typically spend $12 for lunch here. It is well worth it! read more

I'd give this pho restaurant a 3.5 It is nicely done inside, service was prompt and we were seated quickly with menus. The food arrived in a timely manner. 2 bowls of pho were ordered along with an order of spring rolls. The pho broth was standard. Nothing exciting. Serving sizing was generous -standard to other pho restaurants. I was a little disappointed that the beef in my broth was medium and not rare. But I still ate it. I didn't try the other bowl that was ordered, however it looked decent. I was a little conflicted on the spring rolls. $4.75 for two? Seriously. That is overpriced. The filling was well seasoned, but there was a lot of the glass noddles as filler. Really was not excited about the ratio of filling to glass noodles. It was also placed directly on the plate with no doily or crispy noodles to soak up the oil. So, by the time I was half way through the rolls, the remaining pieces were saturated in oil. Gross!! Over all, I'd return, but it wouldn't be my top choice. read more

During this covid season, the old skinny guy who seems to be the owner does not wear MUST WEAR MASK! It was extremely frustrating to see him wiping the clean spoons and forks without mask on and he was touching his nose! I didnt say anything while I was waiting for my take out food, but seriously he was gross and selfish! I had to microwave all the food when I got home. I told my sister of what I experienced and she had the same experience, this time she saw the "owner" picking his nose. Gross! read more

Pho Mi 99 is my local Vietnamese spot! It's within walking distance of my home so it's my to-go spot for a quick sit down meal or takeout. The restaurant is never that busy, and it's always clean with quick service. I love their menu and the staff here are always so nice and accommodating, they never have any issues making swaps for dietary restrictions. Their takeout is something worth praising, I've picked up food from them multiple times and they always give massive portions and package the food perfectly. Pho is something you want packaged properly, lol. This restaurant is an absolute gem! read more

The perfect spot for pho when you're craving. Not all pho spots have the vermicelli noodles with fish sauce so I was glad to find this one! You have to get the one with everything (sugarcane shrimp, crispy spring rolls, juicy pork), you can't go wrong. The pho is also good. It isn't mind-blowing but it hits the spot. I'd recommend the durian milkshake... ohhh so good and creamy. read more

We went to this location last night and absolutely horrible. Fried pork roll, pho and grilled chicken and pork on rice. Worst pho I have ever had. Tasted very watery. I usually put enough hot sauce that the soup turns somewhat red but this did not change color at all. Usually the soup is somewhat clear but it was very swampy looking. Chicken was very rough. Pork roll was alright but still lacked the flavour compared to other places. There were 2 servers. While the taller one with glasses was nice the other shorter guy was not. Brought our food, asked for 2 forks, came back and we asked for 2 waters and gave a very irritated dirty look. This is also after asking for the pop we ordered but did not receive. Still did not get it and had to ask the other server again. Will never return. read more

This use to be my go to place for phó.. their quality of food has gone down since I went here in 2010.. One thing that I'm sad that this location doesn't have that many other locations do is Bubble tea, they have fruit shakes but they don't carry bubble tea which I think would help alot in their business cause usually people enjoy bubble tea with their phó or after phó. I ordered: Phò with rare beef and beef balls- I did ask for them not to put any onion and green onion since it was for my son. They have three sizes but unfortunately for take out you can only choose a Medium or a Large. So I could only choose medium which is a bit too much for my son to eat since he is only 4 years old.. the flavor isn't as it use to be we had to add alot of soya sauce and hoisin to get a nice flavor. Fresh rolls with pork and shrimp- ingredients were fresh and roll was rolled right where nothing fell out.. their dipping sauce was very salty so I suggest using a little bit at a time. Grilled pork spring rolls and mince shrimp on a sugar cane vermicelli- too much lettuce and bean sprout dish was very oily.. the grilled pork had a good flavor I would just suggest for them to make sure their food isn't greasy. They have quick service and friendly staff and of you make special request they are more than happy to get it done so overall cause of their service it's a good place to go to but again they don't have bubble tea read more

Went there on a weekday at 5 pm. Me and my husband was the only ones dining. The couches were ripped and the interior just didn't look as good as before. We got our pho and fried rice, which was clearly not fresh and tasted awful like they warmed up your chicken fried rice. No wonder there's no one eating inside. Never going back again read more

Amazing friendly service! This is my go-to restaurant when craving pho! A great local Vietnamese family run restaurant. The servings are always more than expected and great for such a low cost. I've been here so often they treat me like family and always a great conversation with them. I would definitely recommend trying this place out when you're in Brampton or on the border of Brampton/Mississauga. read more

Pho Mi 99 is one of our regular haunts in Brampton and has really never done us wrong in terms of the food quality. We have never eaten in, but have had take out about a half dozen times at this point. Food has been consistently good. We generally have a soup/pho or two for the group and then a couple of side dishes. They have some nice roles and the other dishes we have all had have been pretty good. The price is definitely right and would be better if we did not always over order. I have hard some negative review of service staff. I have to admit they are pretty abrupt when you order and do seem to give a "what are you doing here" attitude. But we come for the food and then we go home, so perhaps our experience is a bit different. Food prep is pretty quick. Not too quick that makes you think things were not prepared to order, but quick enough that if you are hungry you'll be eating soon enough. I am going to try some of the other Pho places that have popped up in the area and may edit my review at that point, but for now Pho Mi 99 is our place. read more

I am a foodie and I have tried Asian foods of all sorts in many different places. This is one place I won't go back to, ever. We ordered fresh spring rolls, chicken pad thai, shrimp egg noodle, and thai seafood curry with rice. The only thing we could eat without second thought was spring rolls. Everything else was below average quality. We took couple spoonful and packed everything only to put it in garbage. Chicken tasted like it was more than a week stale. All in all 0.5/5 just cause fresh spring rolls were edible. NEVER GOING BACK, NEVER RECOMMENDING. read more

This is a new place in a relatively newly built plaza. The place wasn't difficult to find, yet being a new place, they strangely did not have their restaurant sign light turned on at night. The place is relatively spacey and clean, but the atmosphere wasn't to my liking, kind of felt like I was in a kitchen. Went in with a friend and waited to be seated. Instead of being seated, the cashier/bar lady at the back just gestured to pick a seat by waving us away. No greet of any kind, no smile, just told us to sit pretty much. I ordered Pho Dac Biet. I actually forgot to write down the size, yet the server didn't clear it up with me what size I actually wanted. I am not picky, but I notice details such as how the server (the manager actually) gave me the pho before giving the beansprouts/lemon/spice dish. Not too big of a deal, but what was a big deal was the soup was not hot, more like warm at best. The meat portions were not note-worthy for a new place where you expect to be "enticed" to come back for more. However, the taste was decent. My friend ordered vermicelli with bbq pork and spring rolls, the pork was great, but the spring rolls were mediocre. The vermicelli was also really really cold according to my friend. All in all, an ok place, but some aspects of a restaurant are considerably lacking, especially considering that its a new restaurant. read more

As far as Pho places go i like Pho Mi 99 better than any i've had, there are similar places like Pho Mi 89 up in Oakville, but I found that they had so much sodium in their soup that it hurt. (don't get me wrong if you're not used to this type of thing or going with older parrents/grandparrents the sodium might be too much for them too, but thats the type of food not the resturaunt) Seating is pub style (I guess you would call it) find your own seat, write down your order and get the good stuff. They have 2 TVs on that don't go to any specific channel, however the owners tend to have good taste in what to watch, and it doesn't get in the way of your conversation (infact at times you wish it was louder) I've gone here so often i've litterally had every Pho on the list, I can't reccomend a place more, if your sick or know someone who's sick, getting takeout is great! just be sure you have a bowl to pour it in, as they give you a full cup of broth! (I reccomend a medium takeout, its the same amount of broth, and thats what the sick person probably cares about the most) read more

I went there twice in the last week, and liked it a lot. Everything is delicious and reasonably priced, and the portions are pretty big too. I had chicken and pork on my first visit, and whatever they marinated them in tasted amazing. My second visit I was feeling like something unhealthy, so I had chicken fried rice and spring rolls, which was very filling and tasty. read more

the soup was good but because of the language barrier it was hard to talk to the server.

Found the food a bit better than the average Pho place. Service could be stronger. Thai options available. Prices reasonable.

We came in at off peak hours and it was empty. We were the only customers. Food came quick like most Viet restaurants. Ordered pho, and a rice dish. Overall it was good, but the broth laced beefy flavour. My mom admired their beautiful begonia in the front foyer. They were very kind and accommodating. read more

not good all the food has no flavour!!. Crispy beef is soggy with no flavour at all, the lettuce and bean sprouts in our vermicelli were all brown and rotten, pad thai is awful not an ounce of flavour and i'm pretty sure they don't know what thai style curries are because that is not what I was served at all. We will not order from here again. read more

The waiter was nice, the broth was par (I lived in Vietnam so I know), but they totally scammed me on price - they charged $6.50 for a bowl of small pho khong (pho with no meat) - it's never more than $5.50 for a MEDIUM at even the most expensive places (pho dau ba is $3.75 for a small pho khong). When I questioned the price they took 50c off the price but the woman said that it was expensive cause they put more noodles in, which is BS cause they don't put more in and also cause noodles are super cheap. After I left I realized she charged me even more than for a small pho with beef!!!! I guess I'm paying white tax here??It did not seem like an honest mistake, never going back. read more
